Spacious rooms, pet friendly, good sea view, friendly staff, good service
Wifi connection, price, aircon not cool enough, lacks toilet and shower to accomodate large groups

The location of the property itself is not safe. The place was dirty and very crowded. It’s not for leisure nor relaxation. Very disappointing. I told the receptionist to cancel my reservation and they said yes and I emailed Booking.com but haven’t received any response. I hope they’ll refund my money.

The Escape has a perfect location just in front of the beach, where you can watch the sea and surfers venturing the waves.
The rooms are designed for groups of friends or families up to six people. Some agility is required because half of the beds are in lofts, so some climbing is required to get up there. The bathroom is divided into two separate rooms, a toilet and a shower room. The shower was excellent with good water pressure and also hot water available (in case you want it, which is seldom in tropical climate).
Outside the rooms is a large patio with a wonderful view of the sea. There were drying racks outside every room for drying swimsuits and towels.
Just a minor remark: There is no breakfast buffet but you must order one of a selection of breakfast plates. However there are a few different Philippine plates, including rice, scrambled eggs, and some meat or fish, and one American/European version with toast, ham and scrambled eggs. Each one we tried was nice, so we were happy anyway.

Sunset view from the hotel is perfect! They also offer the best vigan longganisa for breakfast, plus their coffee is great :) 3rd time booking in this hotel and as always, worth the price.

The location is in the middle of the main San Juan beach area. The AC cooled the room quickly.
The WiFi and mobile date was intermittent in the room during our stay.

I like how the rooms are big and can fit a group of people.
I think there are days were they are shortstaffed. I remember talking to the person in messenger and she mentioned our booking includes breakfast. When we arrived, she mentioned it was not. There were a misunderstanding on her part. What she did was she free us with one breakfast and 2nd day is 50% off.

location
We were over charged for what we got. The facilities are no where near the value of the prices charged. It should be priced half of what they do. No luxuries at all. More like a budget hostel if anything. They are charging the same price as 4 - 5 star hotels in Boracay. Bathroom is decent enough but not for the price they charged I expect at least 3 levels up. I had to shower with my flip flops (not exactly the cleanest).
I honestly don’t mind the room… if it was priced right. But I paid for a little luxury. I got a budget hostel experience.
Also, we lucked out and our was in the back house away from the beach. The main hotel facility is right on the beach. Which has next door neighbor hotels that blast hardcore techno all night long. If our room was in the main building I probably would have had a nervous breakdown.
I did meet the owner and he did his best to make our stay a little more comfortable. Thanks Jerry. But you are just charging waay too much.

Very clean rooms with accommodating staff. The property was at the beach front, really a very perfect relaxing area. The food was delicious and affordable (perfect 10).
Maybe the room should have chairs and table too or maybe a loft (which can have a cabinet) near the entrance door.
