The kettle keeps on tripping the fuses, needs a new kettle, easily fixed

Clean, spacious, lovely, and a fantastic location!
The bathroom flooding probably needs to be addressed. Understand it needs to be wheel chair friendly, but when the floor floods over the toilet area after the shower being on for only 30 seconds it isn't ideal for anyone.

Our room was very new and still smell of new timbers. Very nice and clean 👌
The blinds are not enough to block out the room.

Walking Proximity to beach 1min, self contained apartment, 10:30am checkout.
Slow bbq and no heat instructions similar to gas cook top in apartment. Lacking on Tea and Coffee in room.

The view was beautiful
The shower was unbearable. Going from hot to cold back to hot without touching the taps. No pressure at all. Not good when there is four people trying to get ready for a wedding. Ended up using the shower block showers.

Cute little park for people and families to visit with all needed facilities within the park
Beds weren’t the most comfy but was easily fixed with an extra blanket

Location was good and beds were reasonably comfortable.
The floors weren’t very clean. The hot water in the shower was faulty, it didn’t stay hot long enough before turning cold. Cooking was horrible, had to open all windows and doors for smoke and smell to go out. Couldn’t connect to the wifi, keeps dropping. The room was very bright when the sun came up so bring sleep masks.

Our booking was for a 2 bedroom cabin to accommodate 1 adult couple plus 1 single female adult all of mature age. What was purported to be the second bedroom could best be described as 1/2 a bedroom with barely enough room to stand and bedding limited to children sized bunks entirely unsuitable for the purpose of accommodating a fully grown adult. Even though the women on reception was made well aware of our 3 adult requirements, she stated that she had our credit card details and would debit our credit card $175 regardless of whether we stayed or not.

Beach location was fantastic
When we arrived onsite there was construction and we were told we could not park onsite. We had to park in a public car park. Wifi was not connected. Staff were dismissive and didn't seem to care. For 2 whole days (7.30am to 5pm) all we could hear was the construction trucks undertaking demolition. My kids weren't able to ride their bikes around the park as it was unsafe due to the workers not bunting off their work area correctly.
Asked a few times when we could move our vehicle onsite and the manager was rude and said it should be ok after 5pm. This was not the case.
At no point did the management compensate us or even stress that they were sorry. The site would have known about the construction works long before we arrived and we should have been told.
Lovely other places in Wallaroo and when we come back we will not be staying in this park again.
Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else that owners and operators are happy for you to come to the region and support their towns.
