About this house rental
Our cozy, craftsman style cottage is the perfect getaway by the shore! Located on a quiet street in the heart of Belmar, 5 walkable blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from Main Street. 2 Bedrooms (1 with Queen bed, 1 with 2 twins), 1 1/2 baths, with washer and dryer. Two very large seating areas, each with pull-out couches. Hardwood floors throughout. Kitchen equipped with all necessities! All linens provided. Inviting front porch to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine! Gas grill provided, although you'll want to sample some of the many restaurants Belmar has to offer!

Very clean, comfortable and lots of amenities! Host was very flexible and responsive to questions and a minor issue with automated door lock. My family (6 adults) will definitely stay here again when we visit Belmar. Thanks for the great accommodations!!

After outgrowing the previous house we rented we found this one and it didn’t disappoint! We appreciated that we could walk to town and go to dinner and that the house was still only a few minute car ride to the beach which has sand mats and playgrounds near most of the beach entrance points. I knew there were stairs based on the pictures and while manageable they were a little steep. I’ve stayed in many rental homes so I understand there are just some things you don’t know until you arrive so this is not meant as a criticism, just information for future families. Also there isn’t central air but portable units. This is shown in the photos but I missed it so I was a bit surprised to see them but the downstairs and bedrooms were very cool so it was very comfortable in the home. Overall we’d definitely consider renting again and the host was very easy to communicate with!

This is the second year in a row my family and I stayed here. It is perfect for my two young children (3 & 7), my wife, and myself. Close enough to both the beach and to Main Street that even the 3-year-old could get to most places with us on foot. The property is lovely and the hostess is professional and communicative. We will more than likely come back next summer for a 3rd year in a row. It's the perfect little beach vacation house.

Laura, you rock! Truly! Everything from the start was exactly as described! Came in from Florida for a friends wedding and Laura made our stay on the Jersey shore, so perfect! Laura was so flexible and easy to communicate with. The house was walkable to the beach and there is plenty of parking. The house had everything we needed including linens and even beach towels which was awesome. The location was ideal and can’t beat it for the price. Would 100% recommend this rental. No complaints!

The house was perfect. So clean and plenty of room for 6 women. Awesome porch where we spent most of our time when not at the beach. Walking distance to beach and very close to Main Street so you can walk to dinner and cocktails. We will be going again next summer.

Our nine-year-old thought it was basically a mansion. :) A terrific, spacious house that more than met our needs - we had some trouble managing the behind-the-house parking (our fault) but there was ample street parking, fun restaurants nearby, and the beach - a manageable walk - was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Great small home for a family beach holiday
We stayed here in late June 2022 and loved it. The neighborhood is quiet (even on Friday and Saturday nights), the home is perfect size for our four person family, the beach is a short walk away, main street another short walk, and the host was super responsive. We definitely recommend this place for others and we're considering coming back next summer as well. Cheers!

Wonderful cottage
This house was wonderful for our family of 4 to stay in. It was clean, stocked and having the bikes and beach chairs helped!! The kids road their bikes all over town and down to the boardwalk. Despite it being a cooler weekend, we did need to turn the AC units on in the rooms and it felt like central air. It would be perfectly fine in the summer. The other plus was there was a washer/dryer (we didn't use it but it would be helpful to have in the summer). One draw back was the shower is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs, but that didn't bother us at all!! And the host is super responsive to communicate with and answer questions!

Laura's place met all of our expectations. The layout of the house was very nice - plenty of space. Super clean. Loved the nautical touches here and there. We found it well stocked with everything that you would need. Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and badges.

The house is very clean. The furnishings/ beds are not the best quality, definitely feels like a rental house, but lovely porch and good amount of space. Large kitchen. Its a bit far from the beach (15+ minute walk) for a family with young kids but close to main street which in non-COVID times would be great. House is unit A/C's which are loud but do adequately cool the rooms. Belmar beach is absolutely beautiful and its great that the house has beach passes. Big plus. Thanks for a great vacation.

My family and I have been coming down to Belmar for years, and this house helped us continue the tradition. Laura's house is perfect for a quick getaway to a beach town filled with so much to do. A short walk from the beach and main street, the house gave us plenty of room to make more memories. Perfect location, and the perfect house for a small group. So much fun!

Great Stay! Recommend to anyone looking to get away.
Laura’s rental was exceptionally clean and well sized house. We were able to fit the whole family with 2 bedrooms upstairs and the pullout sofas downstairs. The street was very quietly and the location was great and easy walk to the beach. Every room has their own AC units so there was no problem keeping cool during the summer nights. The living room was very spacious and great location to hang out and have fun. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to get away to the beach and it was very well priced for everything that you get.

The house was great. Had everything we needed, and it was on a quiet beach block about 4 blocks from the beach. Not too close to the beach block that traffic, parking and noise were an issue, but close enough to walk down anytime we needed. We'll definitely be back!

week at the beach
Every member of my extended family loved the beach house! Laura, the owner, recently purchased the house and has furnished it with all new decorations and furniture. The restaurants on Main Street are all walk-able from the beach house, which we did several times. We had a rainy day once, but enjoyed the day staying dry on the large front porch.

Wonderful, very comfortable home base for our family of 4 adults and 2 children while we were in town for my dad's birthday! Bright, cheerily decorated and immaculately clean, it had everything we needed provided - linens, towels, beach towels, paper goods, and even toiletries. The impressive kitchen is huge, has new appliances, and we loved having a full-size washer and dryer. Location couldn't have been more convenient with shops and restaurants just 2 blocks away, and we could walk to the beach easily. The neighborhood is attractive and friendly. Laura, the owner, was very welcoming and attentive. We will be back (the kids didn't want to leave, and honestly, the adults didn't either)!!

Amazing family house down the shore
The hosts were fantastic and sincere. They thought of everything. The house was comfortable and the neighborhood was charming and quiet. We woke up before sunrise and were able to easily walk the 5 blocks to Ocean Ave to watch the sun come up at the boardwalk. Adorable bakeries and restaurants and shops in Belmar. We'll be coming back for sure!
