The owners were very polite
My partner and I recently stayed at Delfinaki Lionas Apartments on Naxos Island while visiting Lionas Beach. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful, but we were disappointed with our overall experience. The main issues were the small size of the room and the lack of cleanliness.
The room we paid 85 euros a day for was extremely tiny, only about 10 square meters. We felt like we were paying too much for such a small space, and it made our stay uncomfortable.
Another problem was that our room wasn't cleaned during our four-day stay. We expected better cleanliness and maintenance for the price we paid.
Although the staff and owners were nice, they should work on fixing these problems to make their guests happier and justify the prices they charge. Making the rooms better and providing regular cleaning services would greatly improve the experience for future visitors.

If you are looking for peace and seclusion, this is the place for you. Very friendly hosts, excellent food in the hotel's restaurant. Rental car is required.

Exceptional stay at Delfinaki Lionas Boutique Apartments! Room was very clean, the shower had super good pressure (this is not the case usually in Greece)! Area of Lionas is very beautiful, and highly recommend coming here for a few nights!
No negative sides!

This hotel and family stole our hearts from the first second we arrived. Really lovely people, amazing property, incredible food at their restaurant, just awesome all around. thank you guys so much, we were incredibly sad to leave!
Nothing, it was perfect in every way!

Nice room but quite small.
Really remote area with nothing (and I mean nothing) for miles. Loads of wasps and flies everywhere when eating at the restaurant. Really nice area but so remote it is impossible to go anywhere without renting a car.

Everything was perfect! The room (with good bed and great rain shower), the owners and the food! We went snorkeling in the bay and made some nice pictures of fish. Wish we could stay longer but our holliday finished too early.
I hope we can come back in future.

Breakfast was sufficient although no choice given. It was fundamentally the same each day. The family owners are particularly friendly. The evening meal choices were limited but of good quality and size.

Opposite the apartments, the owners have a nice little tavern with quite a few of their own products.
The food tasted great and the hosts were some of the warmest people we’ve ever met.
A bit uneasy to access

Rooms where beautiful though we did book a room with sea view and not sure we got that. Rooms are very tastefully done, bright clean and new looking. The shower was big and we loved that. Like how the patio doors had a insect net door too and aircon new.
No hair dryer in room. No bath matt, no draw for cutlery. Extra pillows would be useful. Only little things. Would help.

I would like to come back asap! Everythig was amazig, especially atmosphere, I felt like on vacation with my Greek family. I'm sure now it's my favorite place on Cyclades and I am going to spend few days in Delfinaki Apartments next year. I found here everything what is needed to fully rest - peaceful neighborhood, no tourists, beautiful empty beach, mountains and delicious, fresh, authentic food prepared with love. Clean and new rooms is only some extra to it all.

Amazing location. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Rooms are cozy and the hosts are fantastic.

the staff are outstandingly cute and kind, always eager to serve the needs of the travellers. the property is basically beachfront, rooms are spacious and generally comfortable. breakfast is done by the owner's wife, a really warm-hearted lady, it is really authentic and nicely prepared, delicious.
visit the restaurant, too, its worth ut for sure for the great food.
it feels like becoming a member of the family for the duration of the stay, i have rarely had any better experience at similar places.
nothing, reallt, everything was more than perfect

If you're looking for an authentic Greek experience, stay in Lionas! The family is super kind and welcoming. The room is modern and stylish. Bathroom even has a rain shower. Best shower we have taken so far in Greece.
Breakfast is served at the families restaurant on the other side of the road. We also went there for dinner every night and the food was delicious! Lionas is pretty remote so car is absolutely necessary even though the family offered to pick us up from Koronos for free. If you want to be flexible and explore the island, you should have a car or ATV. Would

Quite area located at 1h by car from chora, the end route to the lionas bay is really nice and magical. The family that owns the appartments are very welcoming and kind, they also have a restaurant with great local food.
Our room was even upgrated, everything was great. the best was hearing the beach waves inside the appartment and enjoying the food and the view from the restaurant.

I never put any negative comments but this time I have to say that we were really shocked and terrified by the behavior of the owners. We have been insulted in a very aggressive way for not having dinner at their taverna. The owner and his mother were out of their mind screaming on us in greek how we could afford not to support them but the other restaurant. We didn’t feel in security at all and we had to leave in the middle of the night. We booked for 2 nights and we couldn’t stay even one. We are very disappointed by Booking working with these kind of people who are able to do anything at any price for their own profit. I have never seen this and I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

The apartment we switched after 1 night was awesome and so comfortable! Awesome to hear the waves crashing at night.
The drive from Noxos port to Liamos took almost 1.5 hours and road is quite dangerous! Once there there is really nothing to do. Just 2 small family owned restaurants and a handful of homes. The view of beach and surf was lovely BUT very rocky beach.

If you are into gastro tourism and you want a true experience with local Naxos cuisine, this is your place. Delfinaki is also a restaurant run by a lovely family. Vaso cooks local meat with vegetables from their own garden, her kids run the business and the father runs the apartments.
Nothing, all was perfect.

Hosts were amazing, they treat you like family. The breakfast was nice as well, everything they cook or serve is home grown by them. Food is as authentic as it can get.
Quiet location with beautiful sunrise, shore is good for swimming as well.
Rooms are newly built and the property looks nice inside out.
Slippers could be provided in the rooms, rugs next to bed would be nice as well.

Delfinaki is located in a remote bay. we were going by bus and had planed to take a Taxa the las 8 km. there was no Tax, we called Delfinaki an they Cana a picked us up for free. there Restaurant served us a lot of homemade food from self frowned vegetables, wine, meat ect. our room was new and very nice made

It is in a idilic location, the owner has also a restaurant, where I have eat have the best lamb in the oven ever.

George and his family gave me such a warm welcome! I was really tired after the long drive and car problems- I was also very hungry and had a marvellous Delfinaki (Greek) salad, which I had to take away to finish! Recommend trying the food - all homemade and much of it homegrown.
The studios are very nicely decorated and quite well equipped.
Location is blissfully away from the busy tourist routes - strongly recommend hiring your own vehicle to get there.
I hadn't realised there are no stores to buy some basics for the apartment. I had to buy coffee and milk from George. I'd recommend getting a few bits like fresh fruit, milk, coffee, tea - you can of course go to their very good restaurant, but for me, I struggle to eat large portions and I also like quite a bit of my own space.

It was a local experience with a nice, friendly welcoming, new rooms, good price and family cooked meal in the separate restaurant.
The location was far, the drive into Lionas had alot of winding roads and there was only one restaurant in the town belonging to the accommodation. You need a hire car to get here. Room and balcony size was small. No room service in 3 nights.

The location was very nice and quite. We went to sleep with the waves of the beach in the background.
The familie that owned the apartments and the very good restaurant in Lionas helped with everything and were very generous❤
We had a very pleasant stay!

The food, the location, the comfort of the room, the staff are all grade 10!
We felt like home thanks to the welcoming staff!
If needed, bonus is the view from where you can admire a spectacular sunrise!

Location is very quiet and peaceful. Nice little village at the corner of the island. The owners were very great hosts. Really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant which is run by the hosts is excellent. Authentic greek food. Thank you very much for our lovely stay.

Delfinaki is a family-owned apartment, recently built and with nice furniture. Apartments are well equipped and just 3 minutes from the sea (during night you can really go to sleep hearing the sound of sea :)
A traditional Greek breakfast is served at the Delfinaki restaurant owned by the same family, we definitely suggest to have also dinner there to taste traditional Greek cuisine!
If you want to enjoy real Greek hospitality, Delfinaki is the right place. We stayed 4 nights and we really liked the apartment in the quiet but beautiful Lionas bay (probably not the most famous part of the island, but definitely the most fascinating one for those who love Greece).
Regarding the position, you must have a car to reach Delfinaki and to explore the island (in our case, we rented one in Naxos Town).

Down home, out of the way, real folks, clean, attentive, very kind and honorable family!
Comfortable stay!
Hard to get to! We didn't realize how long travel is between places because of the tricky roads and mountainous terrain, and didn't realize we'd be on our own, in this far away place BUT!:
EXACTLY THAT is what made it so special, in the end. You want action? Go to S or M, you want a wild, non commercial, relaxing getaway? Where you can drive around for some of the best photographable raw island views?? Come to the far end of Naxos! Car is pretty essential.
This proud, hard working family will woo you with their earnest attention! Fresh island grown veggies, homemade schnapps, wine and Greek home cookin'!

Everything there exceeded my expectations, the place is owned by a family who also owns a restaurant nearby and they treat you like family. The rooms were located right next to the sea (which is very convenient, as we could go whenever we wanted). The breakfast was made by a very kind lady and it was custom made for each customer with local and traditional products.
The room was comfy and clean overall, but kinda dusty and unfortunately had very slow internet connection which was really disappointing and we couldn't use mobile data either cause of the remoteness of this place. Also, the location of the room is very far from the center of Naxos and you have to make a one hour car drive.

Spotless rooms. Wonderful scenery. Out of the way area, quiet location.
