good overall. Need a little more attention to small repairs.

The house is great for a family gathering. Lots of bedding, table seating and a double refrigerator for all the food and drinks! Not ocean front but still nice views from upstairs of both the river and the ocean. Heat/AC units in individual rooms made it very comfortable. Easy walk to town or beach. Very responsive host!

My family of 6, one friend, and my sister's family of 3 stayed for 2 weeks in this beautiful home. We are from Washington State and Pacific City has been my family's favorite vacation spot since I can remember. We always did a beach front home. This was not beach front but it has a breathtaking beach view. We have never been so far left of the rock and it seemed so much closer. We enjoyed crabbing at Netarts Bay, shopping at Depoe Bay, Newport Aquarium, in Pacific City we enjoyed the tide pools and huge sand hill, skim boarding, making sand castles, flying kites and the Pelican Brewery beachfront restaurant. The things that attracted us and what we really enjoyed about this home: 🔹️It has a great path that leads to the beach just to the right of the front ramp.🔹️Hose to wash feet as you come back from the beach🔹️It has four bathrooms with plenty of towels🔹️Dog friendly 🔹️Beach View🔹️Huge refrigerator 🔹️Fully stocked kitchen with many appliances 🔹️Jetted tub in the Master bedroomThe things that could have improved our stay:🔸️No pantry space, but there were a couple of empty cabinets🔸️All dining room chairs were squeaky and terribly uncomfortableWe had a spectacular time at this home. We made more wonderful memories with this next generation. Thank you for sharing your home with us!Zilchzoo

Very comfortable home for large family holiday gathering close to beach and nearby crabbing was fantastic!

We had a great stay! It was Christmas and the owner even decorated the house for us! Great location, perfect size for our family/group. 2 fridges, 2 coffee pots and 2 crockpots!!
The only complaint is the booking fees/cleaning/taxes added 50% more to the nightly rate. It was a bit over our budget but glad we made the trip!!

The property was as advertised, it was clean, and very nice. We would definitely look into for our next stopover on the Oregon coast!
We arrived early, called up Bev to help let us in. Bev was on vacation somewhere out in another continent, but she managed to open the door for us from out there, so we could get in early. Shout out to Bev!
Our family reunion went well. We enjoyed the beach and all the other goodness Oregon coast has to offer.
Property is in a pretty safe neighborhood and has a nice little grocery store nearby for any last minute needs. You can park two SUV's easily in the front and the back.
Please note that the 4th bedroom/Movie room is in the basement. It is fully developed basement with a full bath, but it is still at a lower level than the rest of the house... so keep that in mind. It was comfortable to watch the movies on a large screen and doze off, but it is still a basement, so some folks (like my mom :) ) may have issues regarding that.
The only improvement items I would suggest for the property managers are a couple minor ones. One is to put body wash/bath soap in the bathrooms (some folks may arrive with none). Second is to replace some of the pillows (few of them were badly stained), but there were more than plenty available so we did not use the ones that were worse for wear. Other than these two minor things, nothing else that we noted which would be considered negative.

We were excited for this stay, we were traveling to the beack on a celebration trip for my husband who recently passed. Home is in a great location and big enough to fit our family comfortably.
Unfortunately this is were the positives end. Home needs some tlc, repairs, and a good scrub. When looking for linens for a pull out sofa bed, we found the dryer full of damp linens and towels. The machine was so overloaded that we had to break it down into 3 seperate loads to rewash and dry. These were left by the cleaning staff and had not been used by us. Kitchen cabinet fronts are coffee covered by the coffee maker, bottom cabinets are dirty including spills and food. The rules state leave no food, yet we found old or expired food left in the cabinets. Couches and dining table chairs are worse for wear and uncomfortable, recycling was piled in the garage, with no additional bags left for the trash compactor (which could use a good scrub as well).
I spoke directly with the owner who was apologetic and a pleasure to speak with.
She said we would be contacted by her caretaker but did not receive that call until 9:30pm that night. We were told we could pick up a gift certificate for the hassle, we did not accept the offer.

Loved the house- roomy, beautiful and clean. I would recommend that the owners invest in a new BBQ. The one at the house was really run down and worked horribly. Otherwise everything was really great.

beach house
We enjoyed the property a great deal. Lots of room for the 7 of us plus dog. Just over the dune to an amazing beach. With 3 floors we could really spread out when it rained and the large open living/dining/kitchen area was great for all getting together. Even worked well for one semi-handicapped member.

Lovely home, beach front and ample amenities
We were a group of ladies from the greater Portland area (Colton) spring the weekend at the beach. We were thrilled with how close the beach the house was and felt it was fully stocked with everything we needed. I highly recommend this listing -- the house was truly warm and welcoming.

Great House
We spent a week in this house. It was great for all of us which included 4 adults and 2 kiddos, with two dogs. It was extremely toddler friendly with high chairs, gates, pack b plays and so on. It has plenty of room to move around. Our preteen loved the huge room with the giant tv to watch. The only con I can think of is the amount of traffic that runs in from of the house. It could be noisy at times, even late with people partying down the street. But all in all, we’d go back again and just might next summer.

We had a wonderful stay it this location. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and tucked within the beach. The beds were comfortable and the view of the beach from the balcony is gorgeous.

Amazing!
The house met and exceeded all expectations! There was so much space for communal meals, and games but also left room for people to have their own relaxing time. Such a great weekend!

Great house and great location
We had a great time. The house is very nice and was perfect for us. It was a lot of fun to watch the camels playing in their own next door.

Enjoyed our stay!
Convenient beach access. Close proximity to Haystack Rock and gorgeous beaches and hiking. Close to the famous Cape Kiawanda sand dune and The Pelican Brewery. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Ocean views from the upper level are beautiful. Huge decks for family gatherings.
The only minor off-putting experience was the horse corral and camel ride right next door. The wind brings the au naturel fragrance of the animals which was not pleasant. Fortunately the ocean breeze shifts direction frequently so the smell didn't linger too long.
10.0 / 10.0
The house is nice, the view is limited because you are at sea level behind another house, the beach is obviously very close, also, you can take a 20 minute walk to the haystack rock & Pelican Brewery. The house has all the pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, huge refrigerator, trash compactor, etc to make cooking easy. The WIFI was an issue, our work around was to use VPN. The master bedroom needs an armoire or at least a clothes rack to hang your clothes because the MB's closet is locked. There is a washer & dryer. The property manager is very responsive. We would stay again.

We had a great time, close to beach. Walk way/trail to beach needs updated as to not irritate owner in front by walking on their property. Our family of 16 fit in well. Camel rides next door were great for kids.

Family gathering
Our family of 11 had a great time on our long weekend at Pacific City. We were very impressed by both the owner and property manager who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. When we arrived we discovered that the heat was stuck on and the internet was not working. We were given a gift certificate to the best restaurant in the area and both were fixed by the next day. The kitchen is well stocked (we did run out of tp and made a trip to the local store) even having a rice cooker, crock pot and waffle maker and plenty of pots and pans and spices. The only real negative for us was we had 4 couples and one of the bedrooms is designed for kids with a bunk bed so one of the couples was relegated to the “kid” room. That is the only reason we might not come here again, otherwise it was great.

Could be a great rental property.
The online pics are a bit deceiving. Looks SIPC and span, but the sheets smelled of being left wet too long. All the sheets were hung in a closet, but it wasn’t clear which were twin, double, queen or king. The air conditioner had malfunctioned and was not fixed while we were there. Luckily, on the beach in September you don’t need ac. The WiFi and tv did not work the 4 days we were there(again, luckily, we didn’t come to watch TV) But my daughter could not work on papers for her PhD at the house and my son could not get on his computer. There were several fixtures (bathrooms) that were incorrectly installed so it was difficult to turn on faucets, etc. The property has tons of potential, but was a little disappointing. They just need a good handyman to replace washers, add wall anchors, replace toilet seat, fix A/C unit, figure out WiFi issue, etc. for it to be really nice.

our family vacation
This property was amazing and was exactly as the picture shows. Plenty of towels for everyone and plenty of rooms to house all the kids.
The one issue we had was that there was a whole town power outage that we werent notified the first night. There were postings in town that were notified a week in advance, if I would have known I would have brought more ice and coolers. Half of our food went bad from the 6 hrs it was down. Other then that we had an amazing time and were so close to the beach the kids loved it. I would definitely consider renting again!

The Beach was super close, loved being able to see if from the upstairs deck..
The beds were super comfy and everything was really clean. Plenty of towels for everyone. The property Manager was super helpful and super nice .. We would for sure stay here again!!

Great location and place to stay
The property worked for our family. Sleeping accommodations were great and had enough bathrooms to get ready in the morning. Great location close to the beach and away from the busy city center. There's a few minor things that didn't work perfectly, but that's like any house (it's just an opinion) and we notified the owner, who is responsive.

Loved our stay here!
We loved out time at this home! We had a group of 9-11 depending on the night (plus a dog!), and felt like we had plenty of space to spread out and have fun. it was perfect being so close to a beach entrance, and we really liked having it a bit removed from the heart of the city, so the beach by us was never crowded.
The rooms were lovely, and the HUGE tv downstairs was great for watching movies (and the large couch meant we could all fit in one room and watch together!). We also enjoyed the views from the various balconies.
The small issues we had seemed they were probably due to a quick turnaround from the last guests. We found a bag of garbage (diapers) in the house, and when I took the garbage out discovered that the can by the street was totally full from the last guests. When I went to do laundry, I discovered that both the washer and dryer were full of sheets and towels (wet, in the case of the washer). I'd also consider adding more sheet options for the sleeper sofas. Finally, we didn't see an address number on the house, which would have been helpful. Small kinks, which didn't put a dent in our trip at all but would be helpful to have smoothed out for next time.
We really enjoyed our time and I would recommend this house for any large group. We plan to come back next summer.

The sunset from the upstairs balcony
We stayed for seven days. We had 12 of us. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of beds. The kids spent a lot of time in the basement. They enjoyed it a lot.
We stayed in the upstairs master bedroom opposite of the ocean view. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was perfect with an additional jacuzzi tub.
Plenty of space in the dining room to sit us all. Plenty of tv’s in about every room.
The kitchen was spacious as well as the double fridge/freezer.
The best part for me was the upstairs balcony overlooking Haystack Rock. I saw the most beautiful sunset ever. I took a picture. It was an amazing memory.
Another great memory was the daily visit by the local deer. Sometimes with a couple of fawns!
Any issues we had, we addressed by txt. They were fixed in a timely manner.
If I could offer any changes: More barstools at the bar. Only two. Also, some better cooking pots and pans as well as rubber spatulas and cooking utensils.
I didn’t hear any complaints from anybody in our party. We would recommend this property!

June at Pacific City with Family
Property was perfect for our family get together. Plenty of space, comfortable and the kitchen was great for meal preparation. The refrigerator space was awesome! Communication with property services was great. Location was convenient to restaurants, the beach and the horse rental was a bonus! Good Times!

Wonderful house in
We loved this house for it's space and location. It was very close to the beach and had a limited view from the upper floor balcony. We were pleasantly surprised to see that deer would feed right next to the house daily and seemed well adjusted to people. The kids loved to watch them. The house fit our family of 7 with more than enough space for everyone. We loved being very close to the heart of Pacific City. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms meant we all had space and no fighting for showers in the morning. We arrived to the house ahead of schedule and tried to contact the property manager to see if we could check in early, but we were unable to reach her. When 4 came around the pin code still did not work and we got a bit nervous. Apparently the bluetooth lock is synced to a clock and we had a few minute discrepancy before we could get in. 3 suggestions to make the house a little better for future visitors: more spare blankets, open up some kitchen space for non refrigerated food storage, and the biggest issue was a lack of space to unpack. The master bedroom had no closet and no dresser. When renting a home for 6 nights we did not want to live out of a suit case and the game room with pull out beds had nothing for clothing. If 17 people were in the house 10 of them again would not be able to unpack. All in all we loved the house and would stay again, we understand that it is new in the rental market and will take some time to get things just right.

Great house for a large group
Lots of hang out areas but comfortable for a large group of 10 guys to hang out together. The home is not ocean front, there is another house in front of it but it is just a short walk over the dune to the beach. Kitchen organization was not intuitive but it is well stocked with everything you would need and the double fridge was a huge plus. While we didn’t have kids on this trip, they have books and toys. It is spread out over three levels so it may not be ideal for those with mobility issues or toddlers but there was a ramp to the door and there is a bedroom on the first floor. The owners/evolve were very easy to work with, we added a couple more people and were able to check-in early with no issues. We’d definitely recommend this house.
