About this house rental
This unique house boasts a 12 x 23 private pool and three generous porches all with amazing views, including vistas to the south and west of fellow Golden Isles--Jekyll, and Cumberland’s legendary barrier wilderness appeal, and ocean, ocean everywhere. The nearest beach access is just across the street! The living room, dining room, kitchen, and master bedroom all have those fabulous ocean views and airy 10' ceilings. The master is on the first floor, tucked away in the southeast corner of the house with its own fine views across the porch, king bed, two walk-in closets and large, renovated bath with new air jet tub, and a shower. Plus hardwood floors throughout and airy 10' ceilings! The lovely rear porch, where you will want to savor the ocean view with your morning coffee and meals, overlooks the private pool. Upstairs, the second-floor features three charming bedrooms--which again all look out on the ocean. All the bedrooms have TVs with DVD players and huge closets as well. The southwest bedroom has a queen, its own bath, desk, bench seat, and a comfy swivel chair to facilitate conversation, reading, and ocean watching. The southeast corner has bunk beds with a queen sleep sofa and shares a hall bath with the dreamy sea-blue middle bedroom which has a queen, and glass doors leading directly out to the upper porch deck. Besides the stunning views and great location, just down the street from the King and Prince Hotel, and close to the Village, there is beach access directly across the way at 5th Street. East Beach, a broad, dune-filled beach area, is a handy bike ride or walk away. You can easily walk west on our beach at low tide over to St. Simons Village, a fun place with shops, restaurants and activities around the Pier and Lighthouse. You will even be close to St. Simons' newest attraction - the pickleball courts! Dogs are considered. No cats are allowed at any of Golden Isles Realty's properties. We had a wonderful week at Sea Gift Cottage on St. Simon's Island. The rental house is great; the fourth year we have stayed in the same house and plan to return next year. The management staff is very responsive if there are issues, but really that is very rare. The house is always clean and well stocked with starter essentials like paper towels and toilet tissue.

Fabulous house and location. We enjoyed the front porch immensely!The only suggestions I would make to make the experience even better would be:Plumber work on shower in upstairs bedroom (one with attached bathroom). The shower does not drain well and gets very slippery and dangerous due to soap residue. It would also be nice to have a keurig coffee maker. Other than that, perfect stay!! Thank you

We have stayed at Sea Gift for several summers. As usual, it was perfect again! The only complaint I have is that garbage pickup schedule makes it difficult when the bin is filled from prior guests the Saturday we arrive. I know this is probably city scheduling and can't be changed. This is absolutely the only thing I would change if I could.

We come to St. Simons every summer and have stayed in multiple vacation rentals. This one blew them all away! The location is perfect, and it was just the right size for our family (but could easily have worked for a larger group). We have already requested the same week next year, and as far as I'm concerned this will be our annual vacation rental for the foreseeable future!

Our family staying here said that the A/C struggled to keep them comfortable. Granted, it was a hot July week, but inside daytime temp was 77 degrees, and 72 after dark. The pool was a welcome relief! Upstairs has a cottage layout. The living room sofa & chairs reflect that the home gets constant rental.

Best home rental on SSI!
Home is LITERALLY steps to the beach. Water views from the 3rd floor bedrooms are beautiful. The kids room with bunk beds was so precious. The house was very clean when we arrived and stocked with any kitchen item you could need. The linens and towels were nice and soft. This rental only provided 4 beach chairs, but we took our own so wasn't an issue. The pool was a little dirty when we arrived (sand and leaves). We called the rental agency and they sent a PERSON to clean the pool within a few hours. The home is older but obviously well maintained and loved. There was an extra living room and half bathroom in the basement for use near the pool. Would be perfect for older kids/teenagers to hang. The pool had an outdoor shower, complete with hot water for rinsing off at the end of the day. Our toddler thought this was sooo cool. The fenced in backyard/pool area was so nice to drop beach wagon, etc and leave for the next day. No need to worry about it being safe or put away. There were 2 outdoor dining tables to enjoy coffee or dinner. The porch looks directly onto the Atlantic Ocean. We thoroughly loved this home, its location to the beach and the village and the rental agency!

We met the owners upon arrival and they were very gracious, helpful, and offered any help we needed. The house clearly has been given a lot of love and detail. And, yes, it was very clean.
