Had a lovely time, exactly what we wanted. Nice and cosy even with a fire.
Bonus was there was a nice warm shower which we weren’t expecting. Thank you for having us.

The cottage provided everything we needed for our stay making it an enjoyable stress free time. A quaint cottage which presented well and was a great base for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas of Harrietville and nearby Bright.

Disappointed with state of the property.
Property was not ready for our arrival. Unclean and not well maintained. Smelt damp and musty. Dishes on the sink, mugs were tea stained, crumbs on the bench, unclean surfaces, dirty toilet ,one tea towel and one roll of toilet paper for 7night stay, BBQ dirty, bathroom and kitchen sinks stained and dirty, Laundry area unclean, dryer had lint coming out the door, cobwebs and spiders throughout the house, unsafe step up to an old deck in poor repair, large holes in the fly wire door, door handle to 2nd bedroom fell off, front door would not lock, burn mark on the carpet, brochures for tourists information out of date, flat batteries in tv remote, sheets had pen marks, no pillow case protectors.

Cute cottage in lovely location but could use some TLC
In general this is a lovely quaint little cottage, perfect size for a couple, in a good location (so long as you don't mind being away from the hustle & bustle of Bright). Owners are lovely & welcoming. We have 3 very small dogs and the little yard in front of the cottage was secure enough for them & the garden was nice for a supervised sniff session (although it is much smaller than it looks in the photos). Only negative was that the cottage really needs a bit of TLC (e.g. flyscreens have some big holes) & the 'occassional' cleaning things like cleaning window frames really are overdue. P.s. would highly recommend the almond croissant & vanilla slice from the Harrietville Bakery, which is 5 minutes walk down the road.

Amazing location and very accommodating owner
We stayed at this property for 10 days in January 2022 and utterly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very cute and cozy with all the home appliances to your use. The cottage located at the back of the property and surrounded by many grown trees that keeps it cool on hot days.
The owner Greg was very accommodating and provided all the useful information on our arrival. Greg even helped us to find a dog sitter at short notice posting on FB group.
Given that there’s no grocery shop in the village and our late arrival we were very pleased to find some milk, fruits and all necessities to make breakfast before heading off to Bright to get our grocery shopping done.
We are looking forward to stay here again sometime in March.
Thank you and see you soon.

Comfortable but not clean
This cute cottage has everything you would need for a trip away, but it's let down by the level of cleanliness. There was dog hair on the rugs, and the fridge, kitchen and shower was dirty. I love Harrietville and would go there again for a holiday but stay elsewhere.

Cute cottage, lovely setting
Harrietville and surrounding areas are just stunning. The cottage is very cute, lacking in kitchen utensils such as pots and pans, oven backing trays ect. Heating is fine for this time of the year, but would be freezing in the colder months. The split system doesn’t work! The beds are very comfortable. We had a fabulous time. Will be back.

Fantastic property
What a beautiful place for a getaway! We were in the area to see some property and used this cottage as our base. It is so charming and cosy, with an open fire and everything you could possible need, right there. Our puppy was well fenced in and loved the morning frost! We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Greg!
