Lovely 1 day stay in a rural setting

Beautiful setting by the lake, surrounded by a goat/sheep farm, with vegetable patches all the way to the lake. Owner’s English was very limited but he was very helpful and recommended a place to have dinner in Vrlika

The room was clean, but very small. With AC, and no views.

Everything was excellent 200%

This is the best apartment i have ever stayed in all my life experiences of traveling, where should i start from?the host was extremely helpful,professional, he knows how to deal with guests, friendly, attentive and he helped us a lot during our stay. He provided almost everything just to feel at home. I ate meat and free wine, though i don’t drink 😃. My children and i really felt at home. Have i mentioned the woman who cook at the restaurant?oh ! she was so kind with us ,her cooking skills deserve a standing ovation 👍😁and she was always there to help us out with any little thing. I already have a place to stay anytime am in Vlika no need to search for another apartment apart from this property. I would also like to appreciate all the guests who we met there and the host friends that came during our stay “ you guys are the real VIP.

Hmmmmm…just rent a car on your own to avoid any inconvenience.

2 apartments in a farm, near a big and quite lake very scenic very peaceful with farm animals hosting was great fresh food including vegetables self raised

apartment for 2: tight missing holders for towel and clothing in bathroom apartment for 3: needs an additional air-condition in one of the bedrooms

Exceptional

We had an awesome welcome from Tina and Ante, who on arrival gave us some homemade wine and then sat and had dinner with us. The lake was lovely, and we really enjoyed seeing their animals (donkeys, goats, ducks, cats, and dogs). It's well worth the trip off the beaten track . We had such a lovely time that it was the only place on our road trip we stayed for two nights. Breakfast was lovely.

It is amazing place to recharge your battery.

The property is really good. We stayed in a room with a balcony and a lake view and the view was really amazing. It is very close to go to the lake and staff of the property is very friendly and helpful. They offer really amazing, homemade/fresh food in their restaurant. Since a lot of swimming places in croatia have stones and you need to have special shoes this lake was amazing because it is not stony and really comfortable to take a swim. It is very peaceful and good place for relaxing and meditation. Rooms are very clean and freshly done. The owner of the house offers a lot of different activities free of charge. This place is really amazing who wants to have peaceful vocation with a nice view and comafortable stay. The only disadvantage is that village by itself is located quite far from civilization and there are not so many places to visit around. To the closest market and village city is about 12 km but it takes to drive about 20 minutes.

Incredible experience with welcoming hosts.

This was an amazing experience, the hosts were so friendly and we had everything we needed. The view is spectacular and the location is close to spots such as the Cetina river spring or the Dinara mountain. This was our favorite stay in Croatia during our trip!

Superb

We are really happy that we stayed in Budisa. Do not expect too much from the room as it is basic but otherwise it was just amazing. The owner and his employee are so kind and friendly. We drank homemade red wine after we arrived and had a great breakfast in the morning. It feels like you are staying at a farm as they have dogs, cats, goats, donkeys and a huge vegetable garden. We are sad that we just stayed one night. I would recommend to stay at least two nights. Pixie, the white dog, is so cute and we hope that we can have another walk with her and her friends soon! Thank you for letting people from all around the world into your house and garden!! Hospitality at the highest level! Hvala!

Lake side lovely stay!

Lovely stay next to the lake. We had a wonderful fully equipped appartment along with a nice views balcony surrounded by the mountains & countryside. Welcoming host and delicious local food. Highly recommended for a relaxful stay.

Good for a one night stay when passing by the area

The host is very friendly and offers drinks and food, even for the next day. A lot of cats and a super friendly dog to pet! The bathroom is clean. I think the view is great, unfortunately we arrived late in the evening when it was dark and it was raining the next morning so we didn't get to enjoy it.

When arriving late in the evening, it's a very dark place with a small road down to the property. There was a dog that came running and barking at the car and not really a lot of space to park the car. The 'deluxe' room is not very luxurious, it's a rather basic, small room for two adults with a sofa bed (clothes and stuff in the storage underneath), some old closets and a small desk. The shower has a very narrow place to stand. The balcony is not adjacent to the room, you have to step out to get to the balcony.

A unique and memorable experience away from the typical tourist route and treatment- a true welcome and peace in a beaut

Ante’s welcome, the setting, the welcome dinner with other guests even though self catering, the garden and animals, the view, the kayaking, the friendly neighbours, the unique and authentic atmosphere.

Nothing really; maybe greater clarity about some things and how things work - but maybe our issue with language! or lack of it.

property had plenty of room and was furnished nicely with everything we need d for our short stay. Our host was very hospitable and catered to all our needs and even provided us some of his delicious wine!

Great location and host, felt like family. Had a lot of fun at the lake and in the accommodation. Very clean room and great bed. The breakfast was great with homemade products, very fresh and tasty, it was a lot. You won’t leave the table hungry. He even made us dinner without us asking, great food with products from his garden and again a lot. Ask for his magic tricks and his homemade drinks. He has a few kayaks and pedalo that are available to use. Would 100% recommend!

Wi-fi was good and the house is very close to the lake (About 50 meters walking)

The host barely spoke english and charged me a different price from what was agreed on booking(150 euros instead of 132). Since we were tired from the drive and the owner didn't really understand us, we ended up paying. The apartment itself was dirty and there were only small single beds. The room was hot during the day as the air conditioner was the living room (Which was always freezing to try and cool off the house) and was cold at night because the isolation was not good. The city nearby had almost no markets and the offer of products was very small.

Amazing place to stay in beautiful surroundings

Accommodation is located very close to the shore of Peruca lake, apartment offered an amazing view over the lake and it was so relaxing sitting at the kitchen table looking over to the lake through an open window. Everything was very clean and rooms were very spacious. Host Ante was very welcoming and made us feel like home for our short stay! There are a lot of animals nearby (donkeys, cats, dogs) that you can play with if you like, there are also bikes available to go on a bike ride, as well as paddle boats and kayaks to go on a lake. I highly recommend having the breakfast, food is great! Will definitely visit again when nearby, such an amazing nature around.

Exceptional

The host was very kind and welcomed us with drinks and food. We had accidentally gotten the date wrong in booking, so we showed up a day earlier than the host expected, but this was not a problem at all! The room is very comfortable with everything you might need; kitchen supplies, nice shower, comfortable bed, balcony with view of the lake. You can walk from the house through the garden to the lake to take a swim or take out the pedal boats or canoe. Unique combination between modern and clean, and cozy rural surroundings.

Beautiful place for a relaxing vacation

Pet friendly!!! We came with two dogs (prior confirmation with the host was needed) and were greeted with 2 of the hosts dogs and a few cats. Really pet friendly! Excellent host, on the premises there is a 'konoba' with really good food and wine. Very quiet, great as a base for hiking or cycling (you can even hire bicycles from the host).

There is no market in the vicinity, closest is a few km drive. If you take a room there is no fridge (note: apartment has a full kitchen, this is only problem if you're taking a room), which could be a problem on really hot days (although there is a 'konoba', which has a few fridges you can ask to use).

Hospitality at its best!

The hospitality was absolutely amazing ☺️. Easily the best host of our 2 month tour in Europe. We had an incredible home made soap with farm fresh ingredients. The view of the lake was so nice to see in the morning.

Stayed for 2 nights visiting Knin, Cetina and surroundings

Host was extremely nice, he welcomed us with a drink and homemade bread, prsut and cheese. Room was very clean and so was the bathroom. We had somewhat smaller room, but we had access to two other rooms since they were empty. There is equipment on the beach that you can use and plenty of space to sit and relax in the dining room and outside. We asked if we could get some dinner, and got awesome one, we ended so full we could not move :)

The only real issue was lack of fridge in the apartment, but we could use one in the dining room. It is a farm, so from time to time you can smell the animals, but easy enough to ignore.
