Amazing accomodation; priced appropriately. Great sanctuary from the surrounds. House staff were so fun and helpful. Outstanding pool, cocktails and food.
Unfortunately subject to a fhishing scam and hotel did not provide much assistance to recover lost funds.

Villa is very pretty and nice design touches and art work
Local village has few amenities or restaurants so taxi or drive required to get to dinner or lunches which wasn’t ideal

There’s nothing to fault with this hotel, the staff were amazing and let us continue to use the facilities after check out as as we had a late flight. The decor in the rooms and rest of hotel is stunning, the beds are comfortable and the facilities are beautiful and well maintained.

The property is stunning and an aesthetic dream - the contrast of the historic palazzo and the sleek, modern art is so striking and luxurious to call home for your stay!

Palazzo Daniele is located in a beautiful little Italian town in Salento with minimal other tourists. The hotel and the rooms are stunning and the service from the staff is second to none. The food is also incredible and meals can be eaten outside in the beautiful grounds of the Palazzo.

Impeccable taste and care for every last detail: from decoration, to meals, amenities and down to the linen.
Feels both grand and “at home” at once.
Massage & spa are great.
It’s hard to find the negative side to an exceptional stay.
if anything, noise from common areas may wake you if you plan to sleep late as the palazzo is lively with other guests and staff going around.

Staff, food, beautiful hotel.

A totally unexpected experience at the beautiful and achingly cool Palazzo Daniele. Peaceful, serene and beautifully decorated, all accessed via a secret door in the fort-like walls. The staff were incredible and food delicious…
We didn’t get a chance to make our own pasta which we will definitely do next time! We just ran out of time.

The food was the only redeeming feature of the guest house, and the ladies working in the kitchen were extremely pleasant.
Upon arrival at the property we were met immediately with a fundamental issue. Unknown to us, the paying guest, the property was being used to shoot a menswear catalog for the duration of our stay. The photo shoot was being undertaken in ALL the communal areas of the hotel with one particular shot set up within 30cm of the bedroom we were allocated's door. No only did the crew litter their large pieces of equipment in each and every communal room of the hotel, they left make up, hairspray etc. laid out allover the tables with absolutely no regard whatsoever for the paying guest.
Given the properties location in a small, unappealing town, one might assume that the reason a guest would choose to visit would be to enjoy the Palazzo itself. As such, any risk of infringement on the paying guests enjoyment of the property should be made clear at the time of booking by the management.
Upon check-out we raised our concerns with the gentleman who presented us with our bill and his attitude towards the situation was almost worse than the stay at the property. He was arrogant, nonchalant, entirely disinterested in our opinion of the situation or trying to placate our feelings of distaste.
More worrying, and the reason I felt compelled to write this review were his comments to the frequency of photo shoots being held at the property. Every week throughout the year he said there were different shoots taking place and that their guests were "happy" with the situation as they too could shoot on their iPhone's. Therefore, unless you are happy to be asked to wait to exit your bedroom by a photographer striving to achieve the perfect shot, or to listen to a flash gun go off every 30 seconds from 9am to 5pm I suggest you stay elsewhere. I can highly recommend the nearly opened Rocco Forte hotel, Masseria Torre Maizza.
