This gorgeous 5 bedroom, 4 baths Eco-Friendly beach villa lies on the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, Sandy beach. This is a sustainable property, primarily powered with solar energy during daylight hours and Tesla lithium battery for night time hours. Hot water as well is provided by solar heated panels located on the roof top. This villa provides a serene and tranquil atmosphere, with a unique bohemian feel that’s very relaxing and peaceful as you unwind and relax. Whether lounging on hammocks beneath the thatched palapa or whale watching from our expansive rear deck on the bluff, this home is an exquisite getaway. This setting combines Rincon's world famous surfing beaches with its famous sunsets while in view of Desecheo Island. This beautiful home is continously updated to ensure maximum efficiency as well as comfort. We are thrilled with the outcome and hope you enjoy it as much as we did getting it ready for you. This villa is equipped with an owner/managers suite, located on upstairs level. Our goal is to make this home as 'green' as possible, yet providing comfortable accommodations for our guests, seeking an unforgetable getaway. You will find motion censored faucets in bathrooms to help reduce water consumption as it is very expensive. All shower heads are equipped with low flow output to again reduce excess water usage. You will also find solar panel lighting in various places outdoors to continue to reduce electric consumption. Our goal is to utilize the abundant sun Mother Nature has gives us, in the Caribbean, and contribute in helping future generations enjoy this beautiful island and world. With your help, we can make the difference. Hope you can assist in conserving energy while you visit this gorgeous and fun beach house. This property does NOT a back up generator for when electricity is out. Unfortunately, our solar power system is not powerful enough to run our air conditioner units, which work on grid power.

The house was in a great location near Sandy Beach and not too far from Rincon. The house had plenty of room and the outdoor space was really nice. The pool was small buy just right for our 3 year old grandaughter. She loved it!

We have rented Coralina Del Mar several times - it's one of our favorite spots in Rincon - it truly is such a unique and special place. The house is adequately equipped with kitchen and bath supplies. The linens are nice and the beds are comfy. The bedroom lay out is nice in that there are several options for both couples and singles, and plenty of bathrooms for all to share. Some of the furnishings, fixtures and finishes are a little tired or out dated, but overall, the aesthetic is relaxing and serene. The outdoor space and the location of the property is what draws us back time after time. The lower level pavilion is great for lounging in a hammock or gathering around the outdoor sofas. The side deck is fun to sit at with a cup of coffee and watch the beach-goers and the waves. The pool is small but great for a quick dip. The upper deck makes you feel like you are in a tree house, with expansive views of sandy beach and the ocean beyond... it's the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a cocktail and watch the surfers, look for whales, and catch the sunset. There are several spots within walking distance to grab a meal or a drink including Tamboo, Casa Verde, Jake's Java, and Jack's Shack. Slightly further, but still walkable are Casa Islena and Red Flamboyan. Rusty is great - always quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. We will be back again, for sure. I can't imagine a trip to Rincon without taking in the scene from the treetop deck.

The location and views here are unbeatable. Immense outdoor space, perfect for a big group. We particularly enjoyed watching the surfers from the top deck. Rusty was very communicative and accommodating. Thank you for sharing with us!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Sandy Beach villa. The location cannot be beat and Rusty was the perfect host, responded immediately to all inquiries. The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the outdoor social space was heavenly! Will be back for sure

Our family stayed at the home for 10 days with 11 people over the New Years holiday. The home has plenty of room and has many places to relay and enjoy the great view of the sea.
I have never stayed at a place with such a large covered deck and different places to relax.
Rusty the owner called us shortly after we arrived and asked us if everything was as expected. We told him that we were having problems with the TV and the toaster and within hours he arrived with a new TV and a new toaster. He was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of.
I would highly recommend this location.

The first 2 days were great. The property is located right on the beach and had lots of room outside to relax and enjoy it. Inside the home was fine and the air conditioning worked well. On the third day (Easter Sunday), one of the shower knobs shot off, releasing an unstoppable stream of water. Property Management needed to be contacted, all water shut offs were behind locked doors, 1.5 hours later the water was shut off to the home. The release of water was so great that no other shower or faucet in the home could generate enough pressure to do more than trickle out. The Property Manager was not able to get a plumber in to fix the issue during our stay. As a "fix" the Property Manager revealed that there is an "owners suite" on the property which he could stay in over night in order to turn the water on/off so that toilets could be flushed. The issue had not been resolved before we left the next day.
Overall the property is in an excellent location in Rincon and is great for big groups. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy.
Lastly, to apologize for the water, the property manager offered a 40% discount on our last day. VRBO is currently looking into the issue.

We had a group of 4 Moms and 3 of our teenage boys with us (ages 13-16) and we can't rave enough about this Villa. First, the location was the most peaceful and spiritual place. It mixes up direct access to a beach (which is calm in a.m. and waves pick up in the afternoon, which the teenagers loved), and also rocks and a 270%+ view of ocean, right on the ocean. The decks are everywhere and hammocks and we hung out at them all. Watching the sunset every nite was awesome! You can walk to coffee/smoothie places (Jacks Shack), restaurants on the beach and elsewhere are very accessible. We also loved walking up into the hills away from the beach. The inside was 2 apartments and we used the first floor kitchen as our main kitchen. We had one bedroom we did not even use (total was 5 bedrooms). Beds were super comfy and hang out area upstairs inside and downstairs was great (though we spent overwhelming majority outside). So much room, we likely could have had another 7 people and not felt crowded. Showers were hot and nice. We wound up staying in and cooking some nites as it was so easy (the grill made it super easy). It was ~2 miles to downtown Rincon and the supermarket (we took the car, but someone in our party did a nice walk there and back). Rusty, the host was so responsive. We did not have any issues but he checked in with us a lot and we got to meet him on way out and shared how much we loved it here. As friends we travel a lot and this was one of the most special places we every have stayed. Loved it was self-sustaining (except for AC's) with solar, etc. The pictures do not do this justice. The vibe was relaxed, and chill. We will be coming back!

This is a great rental, located in about as perfect spot as I can imagine for this area. Private, convenient, HUGE amount of space, and very comfortable. The deck alone is worth it. Great communication from the owner as well.

We came for 3 weeks in Rincon with a group of friends. The property has prime location directly on the highly desired sandy beach within a very short distance to Tamboo restaurant and Jakes coffee. The property has 2 distinct living areas up and downstairs but plenty of room to all gather together. Outdoor decks are spectacular...just stunning and huge. Sandy beach is rated the best beach in Rincon and it is just awesome.
The host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate recommending and plan on bringing our large family back for vacation this summer. Thank you Rusty for a great stay and for offering your home to others for enjoyment.

This house's location couldn't be better with direct access to the beach and truly beautiful views from the deck and terrace. We loved the different outdoor areas, whether to read on hammocks, drink coffee while looking out at the beach and the ocean or watch the sunset. We had everything we needed to be able to prepare and enjoy family meals. It was wonderful to go for walks along Sandy Beach. It's a plus to have easy access to some of Rincon's restaurants, bars, a coffee shop and minimart within walking distance, but, to be honest, we were enjoying the house so much that we spent most of our time there.
Rusty was a very attentive and helpful host and you can really see the care he takes in maintaining this wonderful villa. We would absolutely love to come back!

Epic spot on Sandy Beach
Great location and access to beach. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and a mini mart. We were 2 families of 4, we split up by floors and all were comfortable.

Great location on the beach
We recently had our family out to this property to escape the cold winters of Virginia. The proximity to the beach and outdoor living spaces around this house are fantastic. Frankly, I'm not sure you could ask for better ocean views from the upper deck sitting area. That part of the house was amazing.
A couple issues did arise on our stay, but as others have mentioned, life in the tropics can be tough. The salty air has certainly taken a toll on most of the exposed metal pieces (think door knobs and such) on the house, and they could use replacing. Our first night in the house, we could not get the oven to work and ultimately pivoted to different dinner plans. The property manager was able to come out the next morning and fix the issue. The next couple days were great and without issue. Unfortunately, on our last night at the property, the power went out and never came back on. All of the neighbors continued to have power via their backup generators. It would be really nice if this place had one as well, as it seems to be a regular issue on the island via an unstable power grid. All in all, we had fun and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Nothing in life is perfect, but this place certainly checked most boxes:)

Fantastic Family Experience
We gathered two families at Coralina Del Mar for Christmas and had a fantastic time. The house is in what we think is the best location for enjoying Sandy Beach/Puntas, occupying the corner of the beach and offering amazing views from the expansive deck on top of the rock that defines the reef at the Puntas surf break.
Our party included: experienced surfers who loved staying (literally) on top of their favorite spot and easy access to all the other breaks at Rincon, children who are learning and enjoyed the family friendliness and sand bottom of Sandy beach, and kids of all ages who loved the house and it’s comfortable and cool spaces. When not on the beach, the shade of the patio and pool area were refreshing and fun and the kids and adults loved the selection of books throughout the house. Being two families, we also appreciated the ability to spread out and have two kitchens and living areas when people needed space.
Rusty and Sebastian were great hosts and very responsive to our questions. We would definitely come back. For those who know Rincon and/or are seeking to have many options for fun and relaxation at your doorstep (without having to drive or transit), this is hard to beat.

Don’t get me wrong it has so much potential! But what the description does not say is that this part of the city of Rincon only has power about 30% of the time!
Most homes in the area have large backup generators so when the power goes out the generator flips on. This home does not. Rusty the owner had recently installed a tesla power wall. But unfortunately one power wall does not do enough and most of the time the Powerwall did not even work!
We were supposed to be there for an entire week but after three days our group of 16 could not handle it anymore!! Of those three days we had air-conditioning for one night. We had spent about $1000 on food for our group which all had gone bad in the refrigerator since I couldn’t keep power. Most of our time over those first three days were spent trying to fix issues with the power or Internet.
They last night there most of us slept out on the deck or in our cars because it was so hot!
We had rented the house for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and arranged a chef to come in and cook a very nice dinner. That obviously had to be canceled since there was no power!
This property has so much potential, but if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation stay away!!
This home is not cheap! You cannot justify the cost to camp outside on the deck!! You are not paying to camp!!!
If Rusty can figure out the power wall situation or get a large generator maybe it’s worth it! But until then it is not inhabitable!!
Don’t wait to find all this out once you arrive like we did! Rusty said it was in the contract. But all it says in the contract is that the home does not have a generator. Nothing about the fact that this part of the city does not have power most of the time!!
On the description it says “all you need is food and clothes” that is far from the truth!! All our food went bad ! And Besides the electricity, you will also need to purchase your own beach towels and beach equipment as he does not provide or leave the equipment left by previous guests!

Perfect spot!
The property is in just the perfect spot. It has a beautiful view and the birds sing for you every morning. The gazebo is super spacious and the main bedroom super confy.

Great location!!!
The entire family had a great time in the amazing house. We had issues with the cleanliness of the house. All the windows were very dirty and behind and under the beds full of dust and insects. That did not stop the family of having a great time. We call Rusty Torres the administrator because the pool filter was not on. By the second day, the pool was dirty and the door did not want to close. Rusty the next day responded to my text and helped fix all the problems.

Beautiful property.
Perfect home for a large group or big family. It is spacious and clean. Our grandson really enjoyed the small pool and playing outside under the huge cabana. Rusty was responsive to our questions and needs when we reached out to him. We experienced a power outage our last night, but the whole neighborhood was out of power. It had nothing to do with the quality of the home.
Our kids enjoyed the bar and restaurant just a hundred yards or so down the beach. We were able to rent surfboards nearby and the house was in a convenient location for day trips to the interior and south western coast of the island.

Paradise
I can't say enough about how awesome this house is. We had the double doors open on the sides of the house most of the time and the ocean air and breeze kept us cool. The deck view over the little rock cliff was amazing especially for sunset. The deck has multiple spots that have beautiful views including upper and lower areas that overlook the beach.
It is the best house on Sandy Beach, a great little neighborhood on the outskirts of RIncon. Walking distance to Tamboo and the best burger in town @ the Big Kahuna, as well as Jake's Java with excellent coffee and smoothies right at the top of our driveway. Our 3 families took the entire house and it worked out perfectly. Each family got 2 rooms. You can't get between the upstairs and downstairs without going outside, but that was not a big deal and really makes sense if the 3 areas are rented by different parties. The palapa was great to get out of the sun with plenty of seating. The house truly felt like our own private resort. Upon arrival we had a few minor maintenance issues and Rusty was super helpful and resolved them right away. He put us in touch with a private chef, Loraine Arroyo, for one of our nights which was a real treat. Thank you for sharing this amazing place. We hope to return.

Excellent views, excellent location!
We've been back just about a week from our vacation in Rincon, and I miss it so! This location was everything we had dreamed and more. We went on vacation to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and brought two other couples along with us. Carolina del Mar was the perfect spot for us. There are three well-equipped kitchens, and you can close a large door in the upstairs area to basically create three separate apartments within the house. This was awesome each morning, as we all leisurely got up and going when we wanted to and had our own space to make breakfast/coffee in before everyone connected on the AMAZING deck overlooking the ocean. We definitely spent the majority of our time here..... awesome sunsets over Desecheo island were a treat with cocktail in hand. The palapa made and awesome gathering area as well where we played cards in the evening. I would say the majority of our week long vacation was spent on the property in the outdoor areas. Rusty was great when we needed him for a couple of things, very responsive and yet respected our privacy as well. Even though we rented a car, we hardly drove it. Tamboo bar on the beach was 200 yards away, Barefoot Yoga was a quick walk down the beach, we ate and drank at Pool Bar Sushi and Kahuna Burger regularly, and visited Jake at Jake's Java every morning.... fantastic coffee and morning smoothies! Literally five minute walk everywhere, yet we felt like we were totally secluded in our private paradise. I would highly recommend Carolina del Mar for your vacation getaway!

We enjoyed morning coffee on the spacious deck overlooking the water, music nights under the palapa & walks on the beach out our door. Restaurants and smoothie/latte stand so close!

Loved everything about it
House was unreal ! Slept 16 easy with plenty of room. Great views. Very clean. Had our wedding at the house. About 45 people including a live band. House was plenty big and comfortable. Owner was over the top helpful. Would recommend this property. We are still talking about it back home and would love to do it again. Thanks Rusty!
