About this house rental
We are proud to offer this superb villa which is from 2004 and built to take in the magnificent views that the location in Queenstown's 'Dress Circle' has to offer. Ceiling to floor windows provide vistas over Lake Wakatipu and to the Remarkables that are nothing short of breath-taking. Fully equipped and tastefully furnished to ensure your stay is memorable - you will not be disappointed.
This villa is entirely private and absolutely ideal for friends to have a few days away. The living areas and master suite are up-stairs, while the other bedrooms and laundry are at ground level. In the bathrooms you will find high quality bath linens and complimentary amenities.
- The master suite has a super-king bed, an arm chair with ottoman and of course, its private bathroom. A fold-out bed for a 9th guest can be added to this room, at an additional cost.
- Downstairs is another super-king room also with its ensuite bathroom.
- The 3rd bedroom features a king bed which can be split into two singles. This room has doors that open onto the private garden and courtyard, which allows easy access to the spa pool.
-The 4th bedroom also has a king bed which can be split, and this room also has private access to the garden and courtyard.
The spacious family bathroom on the ground floor boasts a spa-bath for those that prefer more privacy than the out door spa-pool allows!
The outdoor areas include a private, fenced garden which features a courtyard with a gourmet 'Heston Blumenthal' barbeque accompanied by a quality table and chairs, and the fenced hot-tub: the ideal way to soothe sore muscles after a day on the slopes of The Remarkables or Coronet Peak ski areas, or after the Milford or Routeburn Tracks.
Off the upstairs living area is another outdoor space, the balcony which is perfect for a cheeky gin as the sun goes down over the Southern Alps, to the west.
The living area has large twin leather sofas, long enough for the tallest person to take time out on, or to watch the 65" 'smart' TV. The views from this beautifully furnished living room are nothing less than stunnning, with guests constantly commenting that the photos do not do it justice.
Included in this property is a full sized, fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances allowing guests to cook as they please. Laundry facilities including a dryer, along with complimentary unlimited high-speed fibre wifi and Netflix HD are also part of this package.
Heat comes from heaters in all the bedrooms, heat-pumps in the common areas and a superb wood stove in the lounge - you will be cosy-warm on the coldest southern night.
For families, there is a travel-cot and high chair available at an additional cost, to cover set-up and linen.
In the secure internally accessed double garage you will find the heated ski equipment cupboard and the wood-stack; no need to go outside for firewood.
The house is high up on the hill above Queenstown, so has incredible views. A fit and enthusiastic person may chose to walk to town but a taxi is recommended to get back up the hill.

Gorgeous place to stay. Warm through out. Fire crackling when we arrived. View of the lake and Remarkables. Not quite a walk in to town unless you are fitter than us !! Wifi enough for maybe 4 devices. Kitchen well stocked and functional. Plenty of space . Thankyou

A view to die for...
Tony and Grant have provided absolutely everything (and more) that I could have wanted for 6 friends and myself to have a perfect, luxurious Queenstown celebration in summer. Comfortable, spacious and sparkling clean with a view that needs to be seen to be believed. The only negative is that to be so high up the hill for the view, it was too steep ( for me) to walk back from town.
Tony communicated promptly and clearly and is a perfect remote host.
I wouldn't hesitate to return here.

Spectacular!
If you are looking for a place in Queenstown that showcases everything the town has to offer, this is it. Absolutely everything was of the highest order - The house, the standard, the quality, the view, the location, the spa - all superb. Our hosts were very responsive and quick to provide assistance. You won't go wrong if you decide to stay here and I'm pretty sure we'll be back.
