Very pleasant hotel and accommodations with exceptional staff

Buffet choices were ample.

Buffet food was either cold or over cooked. Best option is the “made to order” stations.

fantastic hotel and facilities, perfectly clean, amazing pool area very convenient for families, fantastic beach - very spacious and pleasant. personal concierge Juan was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay.

the only serious downside is quality of food. All restaurants are well below average and the chefs have completely no idea what they are cooking. Italian and Japanese restaurants do not even remind you of a real restaurant operated by Italians or japanese. If you live in Europe or big international cities and are used to high quality food a good chefs almost everywhere- you will have a tough time trying to find something that has any taste. Even burgers are dry and tasteless. Quality of coffee and all milk products is especially terrible. Milk (they use Rica brand that we have never heard of) has a very weird taste nothing similar to milk we are used to in the UK or EU or anywhere else to be honest. We struggled with food a lot, but then discovered that you take a taxi to Marina and eat out instead of using hotel food. Also most of the staff really do not speak English and almost never understand you correctly, except for the concierge and reception desk. It is quite annoying when every time you order something at the restaurant they just bring something completely different

Exceptional

Service was fantastic. The food was amazing. What stood out were the staff and employees so courteous, humble, and genuinely cared for their guests. We were at another resort LOPESEAN prior to coming to hyaat, and we felt a huge difference in service and convenience for families with kids.

There is nothing we didn't like. This was truly a great experience and we will be returning back.

The staff was amazing and friendly! Loved the bar tenders especially the ones that work nights in the rum bar. One bar tendender stood out more his name is jahiro m.

We will be back❤️

My husband and I had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect, you can see the Top Management is taking care of all the details. Food selection was top and our room was super comfortable. We would like to thank all the staff that make sure we had a great time. We arrived tired on the check in as we flew from Italy. Amelia on the reception was so empathetic and make sure we had all the info we needed as smooth as possible so we could go directly to rest. We also met the amazing team of hostess that greeted you in all the restaurants. The waiters, the servers in the buffet line, Marcos who made sure my husband had every morning his panino as he liked it. And special thanks to Rafael and Daniel, the two beach and pool waiters that were all the time with us making our stay so memorable. Thank you❤️ we will be back soon!

nothing from the Dominican Culture no music it was just dedicated atan all American crowd and is kind of bias towards the host country I didn’t go there to listen music that I listen to everyday
