Chris’s Cabin is in a lovely quiet, private bush setting. The house is spacious, nicely furnished with plenty of room - the kitchen is great - the bed linen, towels etc are all very high quality and so on!!! Nothing was lacking - there is even plenty of off road, private, parking space.

Lots of space and comfortable beds .. amazing eclectic mix of books ! Easy access for a late night arrival (once we found the entrance )
A light on the number at the driveway might be helpful on dark nights if arriving late …

the house was spacious with lots of room for everyone the log burner was lovley especially since it was a cold winters weekend

Size of property was fabulous. Good heating sources, to accommodate the freezing temperatures, it was very cold in mornings. Lots of condensation from older style home. Fire was fabulous. Bit of trouble with heat pump day two, may have been due to severe cold. Beds were comfortable and warm, lovely electric blankets.
Lots of condensation.
The slider in shower doesn’t operate properly, the slide rail ‘pops off’ at the top when you attempt to slide rose down. Appears rail needs tightening and the ‘slider’ should have a tab to release and lock. It appeared to be stock on lock.

Quiet location, off the busy main road. Comfortable beds. Spacious kitchen and living areas.
VERY cold. Heating being put on before our arrival would have helped. One bed did not have an electric blanket, as had been promised. It is essential to know how to light a fire to stay here in the winter. It also helps if you aren't spooked by (perfectly harmless) cockroaches.

It was quiet and remote. The kitchen was well supplied.
It wasn't the cleanest place we stayed, but certainly within the acceptable range.

heaps of space to sit and talk, and prepare for the wedding we were attending. with the 4 bedrooms we could have extended family together
4.5
Perfect for a longer stay. Comfortable rooms and beds, seperate living room and dining room, all well furnished and equipped. Seperate toilet and bathroom, convenient for 3-4 people. The place felt like home.
The garden was a bit untidy, which marred the perfection of the rest.

The property was homely and a perfect fit for a family as there was puzzles, games and a wide range of books. The location of the property is a short walk to the centre of town but it is also a tranquil location surrounded by nature.
