This beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated 2-bedroom, 2 bath home with a large private entertaining deck sits on a hilltop with Westerly views overlooking Puget Sound, Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend, Forts Flagler, Worden, and Casey; ship traffic including the Port Townsend-Coupeville ferry, cruise ships, aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, container traffic, and, of course, the magnificent sunsets that fill the sky.
RELAX and get away to the large Oceanside deck with surrounding views, smells of the beach and calming sounds of crashing waves. Also perfect for outside dining, BBQing and sitting around the firepit at night.
The updated kitchen has elegant granite counter tops and new GE profile black stainless-steel appliances, fully equipped for your gourmet meals. The living room has a 65" Samsung TV, cozy couches, a gas burning stove, and the room is full of light and all sliding doors leading to the deck and koi pond.
Wake up to the spectacular view and passing birds in the master bedroom. It has a comfortable queen bed and private updated full bath. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and updated main bathroom.
The property is beautifully landscaped with another fire pit in the front yard with a water feature and seating.
A nice walk or a couple minutes’ drive to the community beach access. The beach is a lovely sand & gravel. Perfect for sunbathing, beach combing, picnic's and swimming in the chilly Puget sound.
Our home is conveniently located in Central Whidbey Island between Greenbank (3 miles) and Coupeville (7 miles) wonderful shopping, wine tasting and top-rated restaurants. Penn Cove Mussel farm is close by so the mussels and oysters at the Coupeville Restaurants are the best and most fresh! Fort Casey Historical Park (9 miles), Ebey Landing National Historic Reserve and Deception Pass State Park offer hiking, exploration and biking loops. For more ideas and restaurants, we have put together a booklet of places to eat and things for you to do.

What a wonderful place, the house was so clean and well equipped! We had the most amazing time just walking to the local beach, exploring local state parks and sitting on the deck in the sun. We couldn’t fault anything and the tv choices were fab! Thank you for our lovely wine and biscuits too! We would love to come back!

We stay in VRBO's frequently and this was one of the best experiences we've had. It was clear that this was a beloved property and meticulously cared for. The outdoor landscaping was thoughtful, colorful and creative. The views from the deck were spectacular. The kitchen was very well appointed with all types of coffee. We walked the beach daily and enjoyed the short drive into Coupeville. Many thanks to Chace for taking care of all of the small details.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The view lovely and the home was well equipped and very clean. The decor is Hawaiian and very entertaining, if unexpected.
The only criticism I would have is that the rules are somewhat overwhelming. The cancellation policy is harsh and it would have been much more accommodating to us if we could have brought our small, non shedding well travelled well behaved dog with us.

My parents spent four peaceful, enjoyable overnights at the Sea Turtle House, their second vacation in this beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable home. Chace welcomed them with extra touches: a bottle of cold wine, Godiva chocolates, and bags of food for the koi, which were fun to feed. They appreciated the comfortable beds, views of Admiralty Bay through spacious windows, walls filled with colorful artwork, kitchen stocked with ample utensils and dishware, and the lovely landscaped gardens in front and back. They felt refreshed and relaxed when they departed for their home in Portland.

We are a family of four, with two kids under 10. We loved this home, it was a perfect getaway for a long weekend. Perfectly set up, fully stocked kitchen, this house is a dream!

We enjoyed or stay. We like to cook and enjoy the view after dinner from the house and the kitchen is truly the best stalked kitchen of anyplace we have ever stayed. I think the owner thinks everyone likes to feed the koi but we found in a chore. I inquired about the feeding and he told me they were on an auto feeder but he asked after we arrived to fee am and pm. Sometimes we were gone all day and I found that I was concerned about my 'job' of making sure they were fed. The beds were comfy but the comforter slid off the bed every night. Both rooms experienced this and it would have been great to have two extra pillows for the bed. There were tons of decorative pillows everywhere which were just in the way. Lots of turtle kitch everywhere but it seemed well meaning but could use some declutter. Overall we had a nice stay.

Enjoyed four days in this comfortable home with water views. We prefer to cook in the evenings instead of going out and the property was perfect for that—best-equipped kitchen I’ve ever encountered at a VRBO and comfortable places to eat both indoors and out. Host was super-responsive and accommodating. Coupeville is a good central location for exploring Whidbey Island.

The home is amazing - great location, neighborhood and view. It very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and large enough for us all to be comfortable. The main bedroom closet is enormous and the second bedroom is also large. We would stay again!

Our family had the best stay in this amazing house. Our kid even said she wanted to move and live there. The attention to detail is truly showing, the owners/hosts have really made the house feel like home. It's clean, modern and with such nice energy and vibe.
We had amazing weather while staying and spent so much time on the amazing deck, the view is magnificent. Spending a few days here filled me with calm and peace, it also boosted my creativity and I returned home full of ideas.
The communication with the host was 10 out of 10, he is extremely helpful, quick to respond and with such a pleasant way. I got the feeling he truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Which we did, big time!!

Multiple Wow’s from the presentation with beautiful landscaping and outdoor vistas of the water, multiple use areas in front, on deck and around fire pit with Koi Pond to boot. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of shoreline (hill on way back) or short drive.
Inside just as fantastic with comfortable beds, fully appointed bathrooms for 2 couples, living area and fully equipped gourmet kitchen truly a cook’s delight. Decorating unique sea animal decor to go along with the home name “SEA TURTLE HOUSE”.
Absolutely did not mind 2 “down” from cycling d/t wet weather. Easy drive to Coupeville Historic District, restaurants, and shops. Short drive/cycling to ferry terminal as well.
We can honestly say our stay was in the best VRBO we have ever experienced. Our hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed the “welcoming gift” as well. Feeding the Koi was also special.

Great property. Poor weather would be a problem for the view. In cooler weather a working fireplace would be be a big plus. We had 1/3 fire nights. Thanks for the welcoming treats!

We really enjoyed our stay and found the house to be well equipped. The location was great with lots to do nearby.
The thermostat was difficult to use…we had to reprogram every few hours as it would not hold the temperature. Also it would have been nice to have a functioning fireplace as the weather was cold and wet.

My friend and I were taking a class at Pacific Northwest Art School in Coupeville. Getting to class was a pleasant 15 minute drive. When we returned to Sea Turtle House after a long day of creativity it was so pleasant to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. The beds were very comfortable and I really enjoyed having plenty of towels. Also was very pleased with the variety of spices available for cooking. Had fun feeding the fish! I highly recommend this beautiful property.

Such a well thought out property, down to every detail in every room. The view/the grill and the outdoor space is absolutely the highlight of the property and we spent a lot of time out back! If you’re looking for a sleepy little getaway as there isn’t much to do on the island…. This is your place!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Turtle. Chace was a magnificent host and provided everything imaginable that we would need to make it a delightful visit. Love this place! It is beautiful and very clean. The grounds are fabulous too! Great central location for exploring Whidbey. Host had nice welcome note and treats for us on arrival. Feeding the fish was a fun bonus! Hope we get to come back again and stay longer!

The sea turtle house is a great place to stay for two couples. The house is well stocked, easy to get to, and you can’t beat the view! Chace was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful even better than the pictures. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could want and more. The host even left us a chilled bottle of white wine and some chocolate a very nice thought!
The view was amazing and the house had plenty of room for two couples. The house was clean and gorgeous ! Even the pantry had full spices and other basics , what a nice surprise.
We would definitely consider staying here in the future !

This was our third stay at Turtle House, and it was as lovely as ever. All the amenities you would want or need, great location mid-island and this time, the sun was out so the sunsets were glorious. The fish were also out this time so we even were able to feed them! Thanks Chace for being a great host, as always. :-)

The location of this vrbo is absolutely perfect! The amount of time and effort put into this place is amazing. Everything in the house was well stocked, and made for a relaxing getaway. We celebrated my mothers 75th birthday here and she was so delighted that she is now planning on bringing my father. Thank you for the memories. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Perfect Whidbey Getaway
I’ve stayed in a lot of rental homes over the past decade, and this is one of the very best. The space is impeccably clean and delightfully decorated, the view is mesmerizing, the amenities are top-notch. This is the kind of place that you arrange the rest of your vacation around. The location on Whidbey is great with quick access to activities, but honestly the house is such a treat you may never feel compelled to venture out! Plus, the hospitality and care provided by Chace made us feel like treasured guests. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I hope to return soon!

I took my almost 16 yr. old granddaughter to WA for her birthday and am so glad that we chose the Sea Turtle house for our stay. Everything about it was perfect--the location, with gorgeous views; the quiet neighborhood; the amenities provided; absolutely all of it! I hope to get a chance to stay there again!

A perfect place in which to explore the island
This lovely ‘home’ (far more than a house) was just what we needed to unwind from the chaos of the outside world. From the moment you drive through the gate, you are transposed to a serene garden oasis. The Sea Turtle Home was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for our every need. The decor was sea-inspired at each and every turn which reminded us to stay in the present time of comfort and serenity while enjoying the amazing view. Feeding the koi twice a day was another extension of the peace and quiet, with the exception of the birds’ sweet songs and an occasional dove cooing. If you can’t tell by now, we throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
On the practical side, the communication and check in/check out was easy peasy!

We were 4 girlfriends celebrating our birthdays in this beautiful home. All possible comforts were supplied, down to outside blankets to cuddle up in to watch the sunsets. Will recommend to all of our friends.
