Disappointing & dangerous

Cafe close by.

Please be aware there are 3-Lyndale Cottages in the area. We inadvertently booked the wrong one - communication was extremely poor from the host. We ended up only staying 2 out of our 4-nights booked as the stairs were impractical & dangerous. There were multiple other issues (toilet not flushing, plumbing in need of urgent attention, etc) but the dangerous stairs were a big concern for us. We would not recommend this accommodation to families, anyone with any disability nor the elderly. We are in our 60s & had a near miss down the stairs.

A lovely house but it needs a jolly good clean and a few basics left in the house would be welcoming.

excellent location and nice and spacious

not allowed to light the woodburner which was really disappointing as the weather was terrible. very small towels and no basics at all. No oven gloves, not even a full roll of loo paper per bathroom. Not even the bare essentials were left like salt, cooking oil etc

Would Stay Again

Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Nicely furnished. Good area for walks.

Very well equipped kitchen. Nice to have two lounges.

Charming, quirky house with everything we needed, in a fab location 1 minute away from the beach

The location was fantastic, on leaving the front door you could almost throw a stone to the neach. We also loved the quirky interesting features of the house.

The wicker sofa in the TV area slipped as you lay on it which was slightly uncomfortable. Perhaps it could be fastened together to stop it slipping out from under you.

excellent location, well equipped, stunning main bedroom & comfy beds

could do with some sort of handrails on the stairs ( even a rope bannister would do)

Loved it, the location is great, a parking voucher would have been a bonus instead of having to pay
