We had a lovely stay in downtown Belfast at Nick and Alice's apartment. It's easy to walk to the waterfront and into downtown Belfast. We'll stay again the next time we're in town.

We loved our stay at Chez Seeger, especially hanging out on the deck in the morning, strolling a few blocks down to the beach through a gorgeous neighborhood (the gardens!), and swimming in the ocean. Nick was a delightful host, helpful and attentive. The apartment itself was cozy, comfortable, and beautiful.

Our space was perfect, spacious and in a quiet neighborhood within an easy walk to town. Waterfront is about a block away.
Highly recommend!

A fun vacation in Belfast
Overall it was a very good experience. We used the well-equipped kitchen a lot and enjoyed plenty of streaming options. The outdoor deck is a nice feature. Navigating the outdoor staircase was a bit of a challenge as was the tub/shower. Thanks for everything!

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful getaway
This was just the quiet and peaceful retreat my husband and I needed after a frenzied couple of weeks filled with professional obligations. The hosts could not be nicer or more helpful--they were available when we needed them but otherwise kept a respectful distance so that we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The location is ideal for daily walks into town to shop or lunch or get ice cream at the waterfront. The deck is blissful by morning and at sunset. The apartment is charming and at the same time feels spacious. The kitchen is one of the most well-appointed we've found in any vacation rental. Belfast itself is quiet and beautiful, with such friendly people. Highly recommend!

Perfect
Perfect for me. This farmhouse experience exceeded my expectations. Easy check in process. The owner Nick greeted me to give me "the run down" of what you should know. There was also a binder inside with all sorts of helpful information. This old farmhouse building was a joy to spend time in. It is1800's Old with modern creature comforts. Beautifully, furnished and quiet.I loved the neighborhood and for 2 days, felt like a "Local". The farmhouse location is an easy 5 minute walk to the water, and 15 minute walk to town. Downtown Belfast is vibrant. I am a 66 year old woman from California and found my stay perfect for me.

We had a great stay at Chez Seeger. Alice and Nick are lovely people and were willing and able to share the best places to eat, drink, look at art, etc. The location is perfect for getting in and out of Belfast either on foot or by car. Belfast is a fun town and our family had a great time. And be sure to stop by Alice’s fiber arts shop and gallery at Belfast Fiberarts!

I love Belfast and being “in town” is perfect for me. The beach is just a couple of blocks away. My dog loved the town’s dog park. The outside stairs are steep but doable, I did not need to use the inside stairs. The apartment is charming and comfortable.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. I could not be more appreciative, to have had a perfect week. Owners Alice and Nick are very kind, even with my million questions of “where should we go”. If given the opportunity to stay for a night or week definitely stay at Chez Seeger.

Great Weekend in Belfast
Enjoyed our stay here. Unit was clean and attractive. We ate all of our meals in restaurants so I didn't pay attention to how well the kitchen was stocked. They did provide coffee and milk which we appreciated. We were given a lot of information and recommendations. Will stay there again if we're in the area.

We loved our Belfast stay.
Alice and Nick were great and warm hosts for our short stay in Belfast, providing excellent suggestions. The house was perfect for our needs for our family of 4 adults. Comfortable and with nice amenities that the hosts provided. Plenty of space for the 4 of us to hang out and enjoy our time. Only complaint is the sink in the bathroom is very small and makes a mess with washing and shaving.
Loved the town of Belfast. Perfect small Maine coast town to visit.

lovely well-equipped and conveniently located apartment in great Maine town
The owners provided a well-equipped and lovely sea-themed two-bedroom apartment. Check-in and check-out was easy and clear, the owners were kind and considerate, and the community in which to spend 4-5 days was funky and hospitable. The deck and bbq were a great bonus. Lots to do within walking distance, and three to five different hiking and outdoor parks and beaches within 1 1/2 hour driving. We loved Belfast, and the Seeger's were great hosts.

The apartment was very comfortable. Gracious hosts who have thought of everything one might need for a good visit to Belfast. Good location, comfortable beds, and a lovely outside deck to enjoy. We will book again next time we are in Belfast.

Great place to stay with a family!
We absolutely loved staying here! My mom, husband, ten month old son and I spent four nights here, and it was great for our family. Alice and Nick were so welcoming, and even had a pack n play and high chair available for us to use during our stay. When we had trouble with the coffee maker, Alice was there within minutes with a new one ready to go! The house is in a quiet and charming neighborhood, and the private deck with a grill was wonderful for when we wanted to stay in. I can't say enough how much we loved staying here!

Sweet, cozy and friendly!
What a sweet apartment! Nick and Alice have worked hard to make this a great place to stay. There are so many little extras that make this a pleasant place to rest your head after a day of exploring. Or it would be a nice place to hangout on a rainy day. Delicious coffee, milk, eggs and waffle mix to start with. Tons of fluffy towels, books, and a fully stocked kitchen. Location is perfect for exploring the town on foot. And Nick and Alice a super friendly and helpful. My son and I loved our stay here.

Comfortable and efficient, good location
We stayed at Chez Seeger while attending a training given at Point Lookout in Northport. Belfast is about 20 minutes from there. We wanted to be off site from the conference and to have easy access to Belfast restaurants and amenities. The apartment met our expectations and beyond that the decor is lovely...lots of handpainted walls and cottage furniture. The beds were quite comfortable. There were plenty of linens and extra blankets.
The bathroom has a lot of wonderful artistic details and the ocean theme so appropriate for Belfast, ME. When we arrived there was a welcoming note on the blackboard and some milk and hot chocolate mix. We cook a lot and the pots and pans were of good quality. There was plenty of light including at our bedsides. Our hosts were friendly, inviting, and accessible when needed. We were there in the midst of a big snowstorm and Nick made sure things were shoveled out for us. We had our own off street parking spot.

A Gem In Belfast
Chez Seeger made it to the top of our list of VRBO stays. What started out as just a visit with our son at college turned into a fun weekend of exploring an area we hadn't been to from an amazing place to stay that even had views of the bay. Bonus is it's dog friendly too!!
From the warm greeting on arrival from our hosts Alice and Nick to the welcome message on the chalk board for us and our dogs, our stay in Belfast was amazing start to finish.
What you see in the pictures IS what you get, an apartment in a circa 1855 shipbuilder's home that's been lovingly restored by Alice and Nick. Spotlessly clean and there's personal touches everywhere with the hand painted decor and mosaic's along with so many thoughtful creature comforts to make your stay enjoyable. Quality bedding, fluffy towels, tissues on BOTH sides of the bed, lots of books, large flat screen TV, local coffee, teas as well as shampoos, soaps and toothpaste if you've forgotten it.
Chez Seeger is located in a quiet neighborhood that's great for walking the dogs but also walkable to town and all the nice shops and restaurants as well as the Harbor Walk. We really loved the Green Store, Conklin's Mercantile and Eat More Cheese. We also loved Delvino's Restaurant enough to eat there both nights. Traci's Diner (not so much) but loved Coastal Cafe and Bakery in Searsport... just a short drive over the bridge for breakfast.
I can see us returning here over and over since we seem to have lost our son to the state of Maine :D We loved our stay at Chez Seeger and the little seaside town of Belfast.

Belle of Belfast
This charming apartment gave us a well appointed home base to explore Belfast. We were comfortable and well taken care of. Special touches like fresh roasted local coffee, good soaps and fine linens made it feel luxurious. Nick and Alice were gracious hosts.

Fantastic!
My husband, myself and our two children ages 12 and 14 stayed at Chez Seeger for two nights in July of 2017 on our way to Acadia National Park. We could not have been more thrilled with the accommodations and the recommendations of the Seegers from cafes, to coffee shops to the schooner, The Timberwind. Everything about Belfast is delightful! We will remember our time spent here fondly as a place to be off the grid and loving each other's company! Tall order for traveling with teen!

Quiet, charming apartment
Chez Seeger is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from town. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Both Alice and Nick met us on our arrival and walked us through. It was obvious that they had spent a lot of time and care to create such a cozy apartment. We loved the charming bedrooms and the bathroom in particular. The large deck was perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We hope to return to our favorite Maine town and Chez Seeger next year!

Nice 2nd floor apartment in Belfast, ME
Our family of 3 stayed here and had a good time. The apartment was clean, has a living room, equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 4 people. The location is very close to down town which offers dining and shopping (within 2 minutes) and the penobscot bay is only a 2 minute walk. We stayed 4 nights comfortably. The owners are friendly.

Lovely apartment in coastal Belfast
We stayed in Alice and Nick's lovely apartment for two nights. It was plenty big enough for three adults, sparkling clean and very nicely decorated with lovely personal touches. The town center is within a reasonable walk from the apartment even in chilly winter and it was very pleasant to meander through the neighborhood and then walk back along the bike/footpath. The town is charming--we had a great evening at Meanwhile in Belfast (Pizza) and a tasty breakfast in Traci's Diner. Alice and Nick couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming--the sparking wine was a thoughtful touch. We will certainly stay with Alice and Nick on our subsequent trips north. We definitely recommend it.

Perfect getaway!
Spacious , immaculately clean, beautifully decorated- Couldn't recommend any higher. Located close to town in a very dog friendly environment. Everything our hosts suggested to do was perfect. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and beautiful color on this fall weekend. Can't wait to return!

Quaint, quiet and charming!
Perfect "get away" abode, a 20 minute walk from downtown Belfast. A spotless apartment in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay and although we didn't get the chance to meet Alice and Nick, the communication was very well kept and we definitely felt taken care of.
