Breakfast was very good and was served only to my wife and me in the dining room. The owner and her staff was perfect! The surroundings was very nice, as the castle was situated in a smaller forest but close to the main roads.
Nothing to complain about.

The property as first constructed is amazing and has been restored in a very sympathetic way to create a beautiful castle with excellent amenity.
The only issue was that the property doesn’t do dinner and there don’t seem to be any restaurants nearby where you can get it. Having said that, the staff could not have been more accommodating in allowing us to bring food and use the dining room, glasses, jug etc.

Wonderfull place to stay. The chateau is full of family history. The staff are happy to talk about it.
The breakfast in the main dining room, for just the two of us, was spectacular. Grounds around the chateau are beautiful. Very peaceful. Me and my wife were the only guests.
That we had no time to stay another night.

If you book a room in a chateau such as this, you are probably looking for something out of the ordinary. Well, that's exactly what you will get! Quite unique. Amazing building. I would suggest that your experience is bound to be memorable.
Beds very comfortable, good breakfast.
Shower/wet room bit of a disaster. Water did not drain away very well. Other rooms had better arrangements. I am sure George would have fixed it, but being British we pretend everything is fine, and we don't want to bother anyone.

beautiful period property with stunning historical features!
bats flew into rooms through windows at night!!

A remarkable place in the quiet countryside. Our room was huge. No dinner options nearby in the later evening.
No cups in the room. Coffee was not very good.

Beautiful chateau and tranquil location. The staff made my family feel very welcomed despite the fact that we arrive quite late in the evening. In the morning we were offered a great Breakfast and a lovely tour around the castle. Merci George! We would like to go back again!

Ambiance, beautiful chateau, unique and historic. Loved the decor, wall hangings, craftsmanship, woodwork, stately. Loads of space, felt like visiting a private home. Breakfast good.
Having to travel out to eat dinner.
4.5
The atmosphere, the bed, the spacious room, the beautiful parkland, the sense of history. Very calm and relaxing
The pillows were too thick for me but might suit other people
4.0
Great location, wonderful castle, accommodating saloon, different interesting chambers, all surrounded by forest. The owner, a very dynamic lady, preoccupied with providing great services. Interesting monoliths in the surrounding forest, walking distance. Wishing to come back.
Diversification of dinner ( only “plancha” with chees and “plancha” with meat) allowing restful stay, without getting out. Adding also lunch.
