Excellent, enjoyable, for both us and our pets! Supportive staff.

We reached Goa two days earlier than the initial plan. Soon after we reached my wife had a medical emergency and was hospitalised. While she was at the hospital, myself, my mother, my daughter and my two pet dogs moved to O'Palmer. We had to extend our stay for 12 more days as my wife had a doctor's follow up two weeks after her discharge. We made the request to Mr Rui Pereira for the extension of stay for the two rooms and he happily accepted after checking the bookings. The place is really nice, a stone's throw away from the beach. It has ample privacy and the rooms are spacious. Sitting in front of our cottages we could enjoy the gentle sea breeze and sound of the waves. We could simply walk down to the beach take a dip, no need to get on the main road, no need to pack a lot of stuff. There are only a few staff members but all of them are very helpful and nice. The security guard Bablu helped us by arranging the dhobi for washing our clothes. Our pet dogs(well trained) could roam around free in the open spaces near our cottages making this vacation enjoyable for them too. After their own adventures they would come back and stay indoors. Our pets are our family too and we are happy we found a really nice pet-friendly place. Without doubt we would stay at O'Palmer when we next visit Goa. Great thing, this is not a corporate operated place, but operated by simple and humble humans, and it was like staying with an extended family.

There is nothing that I didn't like. Infact, what I found out was that the place actually takes reviews very seriously and, before I made the booking I found some people complaining about the noise in the rooms. But we figured out the cottages were modified for better noise cancellation etc, and it doesn't cut a lot of clutter and environmental noise. But you need to accept that Goa gets very noisy during few days. So in short there is nothing to complain, please do not expect this is a five star hotel, it is a beach cottage, and really nice awesome beach cottages.

No night silence at all

Staff & Direct access to the beach. Free check-in at 10AM.

1. Irritation due to music from beach shacks. Until 1AM, even on WED/TUE! 2. A pack of fluffy friends are barking. Especially in the night. 3. Cheating. Room a4 is not a sea view room.

Good place for a beach vacation if you sre in a party mood.

The cottages are just behind the beach and are very spacious.

Beach parties on the weekend were very loud and prevented us from sleeping. Cottage without A/C can get hot and stuffy. (We booked last minute so there were no more A/C cottages left.)

Séjour idéal

L’emplacement est idéal, le bungalow est simple , on avait « l’option » eau froide uniquement . On bénéficie d’une petite terrasse sympathique où boire un verre en admirant le coucher du soleil. Le raccourci vers la plage est dégoûtant, à éviter !

A new definition to travelling on a budget.

It's close to Benaulim beach, literally 2 minutes of walking.

Everything is old and the rooms aren't modern life friendly. The fan wouldn't work often and I had to turn it manually to get it started. I disconnected the fridge to charge my phone.

Very good

a cheap cottage near the beach, non AC with fan, comfortable beds with a cupboard and a simple bathroom. A small balcony with two chairs and a table for sitting outside in the evening. The staff was friendly and a security guard is there.

One socket per room is definitely not enough and a power strip should be provided. The garbage behind the room was also not so nice but usual in India.

Neatness should be maintained frogs were there in the room and bathroom too that need to be improved and it's a just basic room no hot water available so for this it's priced high should be maintained well with all facilities if you charged high only one charging socket is there need to add more

Nice room, close to the beach.

Nice room in great location very close to the beach and to bars and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, toilet flushed and plenty of water in the shower.
