Consigliato!

Borgo medievale immerso tra le colline umbre, posizione comoda se si è in auto e si vuole visitare più comuni. Le stanze nuove e arredate perfettamente. Ristorante in loco di ottimo livello.

IL REGNO DELLA PACE E DELL’ARMONIA

Location splendida, antica all’esterno e moderna all’interno, ispirata a un gusto eco friendly. Luogo appartato tra le colline umbre, immerso nel verde, ideale per staccare la spina e rigenerarsi. Cucina ricercata e mai banale, con menù fisso. Sala molto accogliente, con caminetto sempre acceso, dotata di tavolate lunghe da condividere con gli altri ospiti, ma anche di tavolini più intimi. Prima colazione eccellente per assortimento e qualità dei prodotti, completamente homemade. Tra le tantissime note positive, la cosa che ho più apprezzato è stata l’armonia che regna tra il personale, aspetto fondamentale per far sentire gli ospiti a proprio agio. Difficile trovare di meglio, anche in strutture stellate.

Avrei gradito qualche gancio appendiabiti nella stanza e qualche appoggio in più, soprattutto per le valigie, ma sono davvero dettagli secondari.

Un luogo ideale per rilassarsi

Colazione molto buona, struttura immersa nel silenzio, arredata con oggetti di design secondo lo stile scandinavo, personale cordiale, cena alla carta molto buona (curatissime le presentazioni). Sarebbe sicuramente un plus a presenza di una spa interna alla struttura, utile soprattutto quando si soggiorna in autunno/inverno e quindi non si può usufruire della piscina esterna.

Anche se non dipende dalla struttura, quando siamo arrivati abbiamo visto degli insetti tipo cimici "appollaiati" sulla zanzariera, fuori dalla finestra. Nonostante fossero, appunto, all'esterno, abbiamo trovato un paio di loro morte sul davanzale (non abbiamo idea di come siano entrate). Abbiamo segnalato il problema alla reception il giorno dopo e, per fortuna, non le abbiamo più viste (avranno spruzzato qualche spray per allontanarle).

Il luogo perfetto per una breve fuga

Un posto magico. La struttura è proprio come nelle foto, le camere sono bellissime, spaziose, piene di dettagli ricercati. Il ristorante è buonissimo e il menù cambia ogni giorno, così da avere prodotti sempre freschi. La colazione è ricca e ottima! Posto ricercato e consigliatissimo

Salto indietro nel tempo.

Prodotti per la colazione eccezionali. Cena ottima e con buona capacità di presentazione dei piatti. Luogo molto bello e caratteristico. Ambiente quasi familiare e collaboratori cortesi.

Sulla ristorazione nulla da eccepire, sull'albergazione inviterei la dirigenza a valutare meglio la gestione dell'apertura invernale parziale. Se si vuole accogliere ospiti in inverno, le stanze vanno riscaldate per tempo e con mezzi che non ostacolino il riposo dell'ospite: convettori e caldaie troppo rumorosi. Inviterei inoltre a potenziare il sistema wifi, poichè dati lo scorso segnale telefonico e la carenza di LAN , il wifi è l'unico mezzo che permette di connettersi al mondo.Consiglierei in ultimo ma non per ultimo una disinfestazione dalle cimici volanti. Sono a conoscenza del problema endemico ma, comunque, una struttura che ospita adulti e bambini non può permettersi di lasciar correre e sperare nella indulgenza dell'ospite.

Fantastic stay in the lovely countryside of Umbria

If you want a secluded and quiet getaway, this is the place. The accommodations were fantastic, comfortable and clean. They had a fantastic restaurant on site for all meals if wanted to be there for lunch and dinner they were able to accommodate that and you need to take advantage of dinner because the food was fantastic and the service and staff top notch. The facility was so beautiful out in the hills of Umbria.

Relax al servizio della famiglia

Struttura bellissima immersa nel verde in cima ad una colina. Stile moderno scandinavo per gli interni, molto accogliente e rilassante. Staff adorabile al servizio dei clienti e dei bambini. Ristorante molto buono Colazione perfetto, il pane fatto in casa era spettacolare.

Per via delle intemperie, odore di fogna nel bagno.. bisognava sempre tenere la finestra aperta.

Best place for a chill getaway in the Tuscan hillside

This place is incredible! The staff are so lovely and attentive, made me feel so welcome. The facilities are top notch and you can tell the quality of the decor is fantastic. I loved the poolside, breakfast, dinner, and the wine selection was delicious! We had five bottles in one sitting between 6 of us.

Great location, excellent staff and comfortable rooms.

No info on arrival re: breakfast, lunch or dinner times. We also had issues with water pressure and, at times, no water or no hot water. On telling the staff, we were told the low pressure/no water was due to external works - but again, it would’ve been very helpful to be told of this from the outset.

Dutch families spot in Italy

We liked the location, beautiful garden, nice room and terrace.

It felt like being in Holland in Italy. My bfriend was the only Italian guest. Place was not relaxing, as it was full of screaming kids with parents who didn’t care or bother. Menu was rather not Italian. Service very slow, we had to ask for everything and one dinner after waiting 40 min for dessert we left. Nobody noticed or apologised. We would not return, it is overpriced escape for Dutch families.

A lovely experience that I want to repeat!

The best hospitality and food we had in Italy, and I've been to Italy more than 15 times; all the people from Panicaglia were genuinely kind and super friendly with us. We've been with a 2-year-old, and they made us feel at home. Also, they were super helpful after we left too, as we forgot something at the castle and they took care to send them 200km distance. I will definitely come back!

Our bathroom was super small and the only one in a 70m apartment. Also, I was thinking we'll get a room with a swing, but I think that's available in only one room.

Perfect refuge at Umbria’s woods

Super-nice place, in the real woods of Umbria. Calm, quiet and romantic hotel with an excellent restaurant! Perfect place to relax and disconnect of the routine! The perfect escape to visit Gubbio, Assisi and surroundings!

Everything was great and nice. It was one of my best place to stay. No need to go out as everything is in the hotel. The breakfast was free and it was very great. you can have lunch and dinner at the location with very reasonable prices and the food was very very very nice as we enjoyed all receips and even the appetizers were super delicious. Safe place and different facilitis for kids to enjoy their stay. Our kids were having freedom to move alone within the hotel. The staff were very supportive and they even took care of our kids food when they went to have breakfast by their own selves. Umbria itself was very beatiful place and unfortunately not well known as Tuscany however it is not less than Tuscany at all and generally cheaper. In the summer, you can enjoy food outside enjoying the super refreshing environment. This is well recommended place to stay for at least two days. I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and support and forbthe nice food and coffee as well.

It is an amazing exile in the nature of Umbria. The room was superbe, the service really friendly and professional. The tranquility of the pool is an invitation to relax. And the food is delicious! We would go there again anytime!

Serene and so stylish

Everything was absolutely perfect. Beautifully restored in 2019 with comfortable and so stylish interiors and poolside. Kind and thoughtful service. Wonderful breakfasts and meals. Super value. We are planning a return trip!

Beautiful Romantic getaway

The location was amazing and the staff made it very special. The food and the wine made it even more special. The room we stayed in was one of the smaller ones but was still large and very beautiful. An absolute place I want to visit again.

the property and the ambience. amazing taste, amazing venue, amazing breakfast.

the dinner and waiting tables was a hit chaotic, we felt the restaurant staff was a little bit amateur. it felt like too many people to handle even though there were plenty of servers. our room had a little bit of an insect problem, understandable as we were in the middle of the hills, however paying what we paid for the stay, you wouldn’t expect this.
