If you are looking for a luxury beach holiday with a fabulous pool and entertaining area, ducted air conditioning upstairs, Free Wifi, water views and located just one street back from the waters edge and only minutes from Nelson Bay CBD than look no further than Kallaroo
Imagine sitting back and just watching the world go by in the fully screened enclosed balcony that has great water views and dining facilities, or if you're wanting to relax in the ducted air-conditioned lounge room and watch some TV than this is the place for you, as the property has Free Wifi, Blu Ray Player and HiFi Sound System.
Upstairs is the superb fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso Coffee Pod Machine, four bedrooms with the main having an ensuite and water views. The main bathroom is also located on the upstairs level, it has a corner bath (spa jets not operational) with the shower overhead.
Downstairs in the rumpus area is where you will find the second TV, Xbox with games, table tennis and built in bar. There is also a tri-bunk which has the double bed underneath and the single bed above, this room also provides access to the outdoor areas at the rear and overlooks the pool area as well.
The third bathroom and the laundry are also on this level, the laundry is equipped with a front loader washing machine and clothes dryer. An additional room located near the laundry provides an area for storage, drying clothes and an internal wall safe for your personal use.
Out the back is where the large rear undercover deck is found, this overlooks the entertainment area and inground pool, providing further opportunity for relaxing, eating and entertaining. The undercover resort style area with sun lounges is an appealing attraction, particularly with the barbeque closely located along with an additional outdoor area on the other side of the pool (please note pool lights are not operational).
Double garage and room for boat parking, private garden areas with a peaceful outlook, Kallaroo certainly ticks all the boxes, book now, you wont be disappointed.

Lovely house. Pool had broken and deflated pool toys and non-operational pool waterfall. Needed hand soap in the bathrooms. Doona covers and bedding need an update.

Lovely stay
Clean and spacious property in a great location. Well equipped with cutlery and glasses etc and the pool is an added bonus. Free WiFi was great. The signal strength could be better when not in the lounge. Maybe a wifi booster would help. Otherwise everything else was great

Family holiday
The house size was great for a larger family. The house was clean and had all the amenities required for a good holiday except for the rain. The pool water was clean but the surrounds were very untidy and dirty. If you had a toddler you would need to bring a stair barrier, playpen, cot etc to barricade the top of the stairs. The other issue we had was when we arrived at the property all the rubbish and recycling bins were full.

The house was great for a large group of friends. It had a pool and area to hang out in. The area was quiet so if you’re looking for activities to do you’ll have to drive to Nelson, Salamander or Anna Bay.

Ridiculous welcome bag
For a booking of 8 people for 3 nights, we were presented a plastic 'welcome' bag that had two tea bags, 2 nescafe sachets, 3 sugar sticks, two milk sachets, a sponge, 2 gargbage bags and a rather stern NOTICE TO GUESTS. There was no condiments, cooking oil, dishwashing items other than what was in the laughable welcome bag. A house of this quality and the price really should have $9 invested in the basics as does every other rental property. Set the tone on a cheap note. Other than this house was fine - though towel rack in bathroom fell off at a simple touch. Good for little kids (aside from dodgy towel rack)
