Beautiful house. Comfortable and clean and had everything a person could need. A home away from home

The house is so much more than we expected. Loved everything about it. Hostess Mary was lovely and allowed us to extend our stay with no problems. Would highly recommend.

Perfect cottage

Location perfect, in center of Cong village. Perfect for a couple, family or group of friends. Very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend.

Cosy cottage in picturesque Cong.

Such a central location. The cottage was perfect for a group- loads of utensils in the kitchen making it very easy to dine in and a nice open living area giving it a very cosy feel. The place was impeccably clean from top to bottom. Host was also super helpful with suggestions of places to eat etc. 10/10 stay will definitely return again. Excellent value for money.

Couldn't beat the location, especially as there's unofficial parking next door which is very useful given the village can get busy! The cottage is spotless, lots of space and good sized bedrooms, great shower and lovely patio area out the back! Lots of equipment around the house so really felt like a home from home! Mary the owner was easily contacted and great to deal with! It's a gem of a place if you can get it!

Beds quite creaky and firm for our taste but might suit others! Still comfortable enough and the linen was soft and clean!

My second time here. Brought my mother this time as she missed out before. So calm, peaceful and comfortable here. Location is perfect.

No internet access but that is not a bad thing!

Stayed at elm cottage for three nights, the location is excellent, the cottage itself is beautiful 😍 spotlessly clean, and has everything you need, home from home, would definitely stay here again.

Great Value Base for Wonderful Cong

I had to postpone my original date because of an unforeseen event and Mary was very helpful with an alternative date which was much appreciated. The cottage was brilliant with all facilities and accessories. The cottage is full of light with a nice stove for the winter and in walking distance to everything in Cong which has to be one of the nicest town / villages in Ireland.

Idyllic cottage in the heart of Cong

Well equipped cottage in the heart of beautiful Cong. Plentiful towels, kitchen utensils etc and some kitchen essentials such as foil, oils , washing up liquid etc

Only a couple small things but Wifi needed and mattress in left side double room needs upgrading

Location was brilliant, beside the castle, river etc .

Bathroom was small, shower was fine, but handbasin was ridiculous small. Maybe a few more stations on TV or WiFi for kids.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location. Perfect place to stay while attending a wedding in Ashford Lodge. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. Beautiful terrace for relaxing We will definitely be back!!

Most comfortable and enjoyable.

The house was located in the centre of the village accessible to shops cafes etc. it was very well equipped and comfortable. We lit the log burning stove so really cosy.

Everything was great would highly recommend it.

It was very clean and homely. It was very close to Ashford Lodge where I was attending a wedding. It was in a great location right in the centre of Cong. A cot was also provided for my little girl which was very handy.

Stunning cottage, beautifully renovated with a gorgeous little courtyard. Right in the centre of Cong.

There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, and we were very lucky with the weather. We enjoyed ourselves and got to see and do plenty.

Dining out was very bad, when you went to pubs and restaurants they were saying they were closed even though people were sitting eating so not very welcoming to holidaymakers. The only place where you could eat out was the paddleduck, excellent food and service and very friendly.

Wonderful property and location

Excellent property. Beautifully decorated, light and modern with a lovely courtyard at the back surrounded by tubs of flowering Hydrangea. Ample space for 6 people..we were a party of 3 and my granddaughter had plenty of space for all the toys she brought!! Ideally situated in Cong. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Mary!!

We loved the accommodation and we loved Cong. We’ll definitely be back.

We made a fabulous lady who was putting the finishing touches to the cottage before our arrival so we didn’t have to source the key ourselves. From then on we had the key with us when our.
