Brilliant family trip to Waves!

Our second trip to Waves and we’ll definitely be returning! Location is excellent, a few minutes from the beach and all other sights. The court yard garden was a real oasis given the heat! Decor is lovely, with some really interesting pieces. Waves is well equipped and spotless! See you next summer :)

Whitstable is a great place to visit, lots of lovely shops and really good cafes and restaurants!

Waves was a great find. The property is perfectly situated making it easy to walk to the nearby shops, restaurants and seafront. The entire house is very well looked after. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds and the bathroom has a lovely walk in shower. Deborah the host kept in touch to ensure we were happy with everything and also helped with suggestions of where to dine and how to catch a bus to Canterbury. I highly recommend Waves as a great place to stay when visiting Whitstable.

Fantastic we will be back.

Great location minutes from the harbour, very well appointed and well equipped.

A little noise from the pubs, but we knew that and if you want to be so central and close to everything you can’t expect to be in a completely tranquil place but the house does feel peaceful and relaxing.

We loved the personal touches to the property, all the decor, the nods to Whitstable throughout and the music memorabilia. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and with a firm mattress. We loved the sun room and the outdoor area.

The only things I can think of were the parking nearby, we got a space straight away but as the roads were very narrow my partner was nervous his car getting hit. This is of course no reflection on the property. The pub outside of the property was very loud which we already knew could be an issue and being a Saturday night there was a lot of drunk shouting from the patrons. Again no reflection on the property itself.

A beautiful house to relax in at the heart of a fascinating town.

Great location only 2 minutes walk from the harbour. The house was so well equipped, and full of character. When we arrived the boiler wasn’t working but Deborah sorted out someone to fix it really quickly - we really appreciated this. We also loved sitting in the sunny courtyard.

Finding a car parking space was tricky and the only downside, but with perseverance there were spaces available.

clean and comfy, good location. nice facilities and good communication from the owners

there is no parking. we received instructions for places to park on the road but each day we tried 3 different times of day and there were NO spaces. never. there are plenty of walkable car parks but be prepared to budget £20 a day for parking.

Lovely stay in a beautiful holiday home.

Plenty of space (clever design maximises the building’s footprint). Comprehensively equipped. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Lovely quiet garden and indoor/outdoor space in the conservatory with bifold doors. 1 minutes’s walk from the High St and 2 minutes from the beach.

Great weekend away.

This property is about as perfect as you can get. Spotlessly clean, well thought out decor that's warm and cosy, comfortable beds with exceptionally soft bedding, amazing location just one street from the harbour or hight Street, lovely outdoor space for breakfast of late drinks in the summer. I really cannot fault Waves and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Whistable 👍 Thank you to Debbie for such a wonderful stay xxx

We liked everything about this house and could not fault. The instructions and pre information sent by Deborah were first rate and the best we have ever received for a holiday accomodation. This was our ninth visit to Whitstable and was defintely the best rental we have stayed in.

We're coming back!

Everything! The ambiance, decor and layout were fab. There was everything we needed and it was all beautifully presented. If we return to Whitstable we'll be booking Waves again straight away! My friend even took pics and ideas for renovating her own house and garden! The host was lovely and quick to respond to messages. It was just lovely from beginning to end and we were sad to leave.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like. We didn't manage to find street parking but the long stsy car park is just down the road and so we used that. It did take us a bit to work out that you had to turn the timer on to make the oven work though! 😂

Perfect accommodation for a short stay. Homely, convenient and lovely host.

The property had everything we needed and really felt like everything had been thought about for a short stay.

There is a pub directly opposite which was a bit noisy at night but to be expected. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
