About this apartment rental
3-room duplex apartment of 47m² for up to 6 people, located on the
6th floor of the Signal du Prorel residence with elevator, near
the Prorel gondola and shops.
Large balcony facing east with panoramic view of the old town and the mountains.
It consists of:
- a small bedroom with 2 bunk beds,
- a bathroom with shower and toilet
- a living room with a pull-out sofa bed (2 places)
- a kitchen area with dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven,
microwave, large refrigerator..
Upstairs, a mezzanine bedroom with a 140 double bed
Ski locker and private parking linked to the residence available.
Free WIFI in the residence accessible from the apartment.
Cleaning not included.

Only WIFI for 4 persons whereas the ad was for an appartment of 6 persons.
The ski locker is far too small for 6 persons: it is only possible to store the ski material for 2 persons in the locker.
The ski locker room is not heated and it is not ventilated.
The appartment was dirty: staircase, garbage bin, carpet, the big seat, a small seat was not proper at all.
Moreover, when we raised all these issues at the agency, they just did not provide any help at all. They only explained that they did not get earlier complaints like this and that they would pass our remarks to the owner. Finally we did not hear at all from the owner.
On top of that, we have had problems with the returnal of the deposit from the agency FONCIA Briançon.
The agency took a deposit of 300 EUR for the appartment at the beginning of the rental. The only way to pay that deposit, was with a credit card, so all this is pretty standard and is fine.
We left the appartment at the end of the rental as you may expect. After four days, we reminded the agency that they did not release the reservation of the deposit. We also reminded the agency on the fifth day that they did not release the reservation of the 300 EUR. Foncia Briançon confirmed that they have read our message, but Foncia did not release the reservation of the 300 EUR ! Finally we called our bank of our credit card and we got the advice to cancel the credit card and indicate as reason 'attempt of fraud'. We followed the advice from our bank.

We enyoyed our stay in the apartment. Location is excellent so close to skilift. The inventory of the app and overall state of furniture needs an update/renovation. In all I think the apartment is overpriced.

Appartement conforme et agréable mais à rafraichir
Appartement conforme à l'annonce mais à rafraichir sérieusement sur la sécurité électrique (3 multiprises !!!) ce qui n'est pas aux normes récentes, sur l'amégament de la salle de bain avec une cabine douche de taille très réduite et un petit ballon pour l'eau chaude et sur la mobilier du salon vétuste ainsi que la table sur le balcon sale, dégradée et incurvée.
Par contre appartement agréable par son espace, sa mezzanine, son grand balcon et la superbe vue ensoleillée sur la cité de Briancon et ses forts en début de soirée. Très dépaysant.
