We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).
Other than the above, there isn't too much to do in the immediate vicinity - it can be a good home base though if you travel by car.

The breakfast Klaus prepared was excellent: included fruits, coffee, juice, homemade bread, eggs, cheese and plantain. Really good.
Klaus is a nice host who cares about the guests. It was great chatting with him.
The place has inside parking too.
There is hot water in the shower and the outdoor shared bathroom exceeded our expectations, it was spotless.
It is a great location if you are planning to go to or coming from Tortuguero.
Although the concept of sleeping outdoors in a nice setting like this sounds good, we did not sleep much. There were animal nests in the roof of the cabaña/tent and the mattress was not comfortable.

My whole experience at Centro Ananda was positive. The location was excellent for what I wanted to do. The breakfasts were excellent and the host could not have been more friendly or helpful. A huge thank you.

Everything is really cute, Klaus welcomed us warmly and made us the best breakfast! He showed us the cute garden and explained everything. The Tents he made by himself are really cute and comfortable. I can only recommend staying there!

Enjoyed sleeping in the teepee. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late. Klaus came out to the highway too meet us. There’s cabin lodging as well. Woke up to beautiful orchestra of nature; birds whistling. Klaus welcomed us warmly. Facilities are very clean and water pressure is good. We got a tour of the lovely garden with fruit trees. Delightful. bountiful breakfast with coffee and juice, homemade bread, eggs, plantains and more. What a way to spend our first night in Costa Rica! Would love to come back. Thank you.
Nothing really. It was as described and more

Klaus the owner of property & his wife made us feel so welcome.. the food was outstanding & any questions we asked were answered in an unbiased fashion.
This was our first night in Costa Rica & a perfect launch pad around 1 hour from the international airport.
I can’t fault this place.

We had the perfect first night in Costa Rica. We made a one night stop there just after landing from Switzerland on our way to Tortuguero.
The owner Klaus was really welcoming. He made us the best breakfast so far and was also really nice to chat with.
We would definitely go again.
Nothing.

Very simple, all that you need. The cabin looks amazing for a longer stay. Secure facility, Klause super personable. Would stay again in the future!
Crying baby in the middle of the night, but that could happen anywhere with neighbors close by.

It was like fancy camping outside but in cool little huts with a bed. Mosquitoe nets were useful. It's a really nice family who run it, and took us to the river to swim and hang out, through the jungle. There's yoga mats and a whole room to practice in, among other lovely details. Breakfast was included, amazing German home made bread and artistic fruit plates! Really sweet. We stayed as en route to break up the long drive from La Fortuna to Porto Viejo, and it was a prefect middle. There's also a restaurant nearby, walking distance.
