Perfekt - gerne wieder

One of the very best boutique hotels anywhere.

Pleasant, comfortable, modern room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent A/C. Breakfast is fresh and options change daily. Located in a quiet area a block off the main street. Staff are OUTSTANDING, especially Carolina who provided us with great recommendations and services.

Perfect location & a comfortable room

It’s a block off the main street but it’s in the heart of everything but not on main with all the traffic. The streets are made of pavers so it’s quiet. Great a/c. Catalina was a great host who even stayed a little late for us to make sure we were ok. Great customer service!

Not all of the windows had shades & I like it dark when I sleep.

Attractive and contemporary hotel

What an exceptional property! This immaculately clean boutique hotel has approximately 12 rooms on 3 storeys with wide open, airy common spaces to relax. Someone is always sweeping or cleaning around the small complex. The reception staff are incredibly welcoming, hospitable and helpful without being intrusive and English is well spoken. They can arrange everything for you as well as being partnered with a helpful travel agency next door. They can also send out for laundry service. Beach towels are available. Rooms are well appointed with all the standard travel essentials and tastefully decorated with local art featuring Galapagos wildlife themes. There is also an evening turn down service. The in-room A/C works very well and a small fridge is included. The table service breakfast is fresh and delicious and portions are large. You start with juice, fruit and yogurt followed by a different themed egg dish as a main course. Location in Puerto Ayora is excellent: just a few convenient steps away from the restaurants, shops and piers on the main avenue but far enough away such that it is nice and quiet in the evening. Should we ever return to Santa Cruz, this is where we'd stay. Again.

The water temperature in the shower tends to fluctuate hot and cold, but I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about that. Not a big deal or a show-stopper by any means.

エレベーターがないので大きな荷物を運ぶのが大変（ですが、スタッフの方が手伝ってくれます） Wi-Fiが不安定（このホテルに限らず、ガラパゴスあるあるのようでした）

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel Acacia where the staff, accommodation, breakfast, and location were all excellent. The beautiful pool and reliable wifi were an extra bonus.

A beautiful place to relax

We're very happy we stayed here! The building was beautiful inside and outside. Rooms were very comfy and we enjoyed the modern interiors. Rooms were quiet too. The third floor has very lovely ocean views. Breakfast was excellent! Staff were very helpful, friendly, and professional.

Beautiful, clean, and perfectly located property and staff was incredibly warm and attentive to detail. One of the highlights of my 10 day trip to Ecuador. Can't recommend it highly enough!

5 Star Service and a Beautiful Boutique Hotel!

This may sound cliche to say, but the Hotel Acacia is the best hotel we have stayed at, anywhere, period. My wife and I have been all over the world and stayed at all kinds of hotels, but this place is heads above the rest. The property is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast served every morning is delicious. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well maintained, and modern—all things you would expect from a hotel at this price point, and things that in and of themselves are great, but are not what makes a hotel memorable or special. What really sets the Hotel Acacia apart from the rest is the service you receive here from the incredible staff; Carol & Jose along with the rest of the staff are the best! They offered us help with anything any everything and made our stay in the Galapagos feel personalized and special in more ways than we can count. They went above and beyond in every way—recommending daily local activities; connecting us with a local travel agent (Sophia) who was also incredible and able to book us some great deals on tours and dive trips; remembering where we had been during our stay and continuing to recommend new and beautiful visits; making reservations for us; honestly, through and through, we were impressed at every turn. Would HIGHLY recommend Hotel Acacia!

We loved our stay here. Maybe the only complaint, and this is honestly a stretch, is that the beds could have been slightly more comfortable—but we still slept great every night!

Great stay and great staff!

Our room was spacious and felt very zen, the bathroom was huge and modern. We had a balcony where we could watch the boats in the harbor.

Good potential poor management

- There are so many things that I will save from this hotel: 1) Emilia and Jose Miguel (They are two very professional members of the staff) 2) Location 3) Air Conditioner 4) Safety 5) Comfortable Bed 6) Water dispenser 7) Communal areas 8) Breakfast... up to the main dish

I am afraid that there are so many things that I did not like about this stay as you could see from the attached pictures: 1) Unprofessionalism from some members of the staff (speaking in the garden in front of our room regarding us and other hotel guests) 2) Wifi, but it is like this all over Galapagos. However, if you want a better Wifi connection( I cannot promise the performance as I did not pay for it) you need to pay $5 per day for your own router. 3) Breakfast.... from the main dish 4) Very Narrow toilet, even for an average individual 5) Same Bathrobes for at least three days 6) Some days they did not refill the water to brush your teeth and the water to drink 7) For over 3 days they did not refill the shampoo, the shower gel, and the conditioner 8) Noisy 9) They wanted to know the exact time of our breakfast (the previous day) and then the exact activities that we were going to do during the day, a little bit over than being friendly, more in the line to overcontrol someone. 10) The rubbish was not removed every single day by the cleaners and imagine that a day we had to go down to the receptionist, and the wonderful Emilia got it sorted. 11) Breakfast of different customers (granola, bread... ) was reused for other further customers

This hotel was amazing!

This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was exceptionally kind to us. The free breakfast in the morning was amazing. The staff helped us find excursions and made many recommendations. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Exceptional

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub access. The room and shared spaces were all immaculate. Breakfast was incredible, not a "normal" included hotel breakfast. It was a breakfast you'd get at a nice restaurant. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Fab hotel, easy to do day trips from here, better than cruising around the islands.

great location, one street behind the strip so quiet at night. big room, big bed, very comfortable with good linen. free water and varied breakfast. staff excellent, very helpful and friendly.

very friendly and motivated staff and Manager! nice rooms, all clean, nice breakfast. Generally can recommend very much to stay.

For the price category the hotel is in, some additional fine tuning of details would be nice to have. Breakfast Area was quite humid and warm, maybe apply ceilling fans... or not having to recite food intolerances for breakfast every morning...

Exceptional

The staff were wonderful - very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of it. Although I had not thought we would make much use of the swimming pool, it proved to be a big plus to have a place to cool down after coming back after a hot day out on the island. The hotel was on a very quiet side street just a short distance from the waterfront.

Loved my stay…when in Santa Cruz, the best!

Very comfy bed, loved the location (next to the malecon without the noise), and very helpful employees with whim I maintained communication with every day.

I’m missing it already.
