comfortable beds, lovely cowshed products, Dyson hairdryer, helpful staff, drinks in the bar, great overall ambience, separate sink in main room and hot/cold water taps in corridor.
On arrival we were allocated Room 42 on top floor & checked in around 6.30pm. When we opened door to the corridor there was an icy blast of air and an unpleasant smell. The temperature in the room itself was 13C. We let the staff know at the bar as we hadn't been able to work the air con ourselves and they said the room would be warm in 10 mins. We had a drink at the bar and then went to the diner. Our room was still as cold on our return and at 9.30pm we asked to move room. I'd already unpacked everything and so had to pack up again and we moved to Room 25, a floor down. This was a nicer room, less poky and it was perfectly warm so we managed a good night's sleep. Just wish that someone had checked out the floor we were on when we reported it as there was an issue with that entire zone & a heating engineer needed. So the moral of the tale is if you are visiting in this upcoming cold spell & get an unheated room don't give them the benefit of the doubt, just ask to be moved straight away!
I did give feedback directly to Mollie's the next day through their own portal but heard nothing back which slightly surprised me as I have never been driven out of a hotel room before and it was quite a big deal at the time.

Lovely clean room.
Great shower and amenities.
Well priced diner which was great for breakfast and evening food.
Easy to travel into Oxford by bus with a bus stop right outside the hotel.
Easy to travel to the Cotswold by car.
24/7 bar with great cocktails and nice lounge area in the reception etc.

It is a really fun place to stay, quirky with some top-notch extras such as Dyson hairdryer, GHD straightners, and beautiful Cowshed products to use. Clean, minimal, but extremely comfortable.
All good

Clean and functional. Better than most hotels at a similar price point. Ideal for a night stopover.
It is actually at a service station.
4.0
Style of motel and free coffee!
Diner meal was only average.

Good location
Basic but spacious rooms
Ample parking
Cleaning could be improved- particularly in the shower and toilet
Staff pleasant once you manage to attract their attention but can take awhile
5.0
Stylish decor with some really smart additions (Dyson hairdryer, ghd straighteners, cowshed toiletries…)
On our first night, the corridor based hot/cold drink tap on the first floor wasn’t working meaning up/down stairs with hot drinks…

Nice modern hotel. Liked the lobby area. Mollies diner served a good breakfast.
Hard to walk to a pub or restaurant from the hotel.

Nothing it went beyond my expectations.
3.0
Location excellent
Parking good
Room very clean and modern
Bathroom excellent
Couldn’t get the air con and heating adjusted. It was controlled by a master panel by the reception desk as well as controls on the room. However, the fan whirred all night and gave me a headache from blowing cold air on my face all night. Also breakfast was not included.

Ideal for an overnighter to break up our journey from the Kent to Cheshire.
Nice modern concept, very comfy with great shower and nice toiletries.
Everything can be done from an App on your phone.
Nice little planted courtyard to relax in with a drink from the bar on a sunny evening like ours.
Convenient having the American style dinner to go with it across the car park where we enjoyed our evening eats and breakfast.
Although there were cups tea/coffee in the rooms the motel does not provide kettles but instead has on each floor a hot water station where you take your cups for each drink you may want to make then you have to carry them back to your room full of hot water while for us having to negotiate a fire door and the room door, you also need to make sure you're pretty decent to be wandering up and down the corridor with your cups, really making coffee to drink in bed in the morning a real faff. Unfortunately for our stay the hot water station on our floor was out of order and we were advised by reception to either use the station on the floor above or take our cups to be filled at reception. We did find it difficult to find a positive in having to get dressed, walk up and down corridors negotiating doors just to have a hot drink.
We are guessing there is a good reason, which we may have missed, that it was decided not to leave an individual kettle in each room but it had us stumped especially as they decided providing each room with a Dyson hairdryer and GHD straighteners was the way to go.
We did joke it was "all fur coat and no knickers"

Clean and staff were very friendly. Being able to order sweets and drinks from lobby at any time! And the luxury of being able to stream my phone to watch films on tv was an added bonus i’ve never experienced anywhere else before :D
Nothing bad to say

Clean, modern, comfy hotel room. Free parking. EV charging points too. This isn't our first stay and won't be our last. If you want food in the diner i'd recommend you book in advance.
It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The diner is always busy so if you want to dine in be sure to book as there isn't much else in the immediate area
2.5
Style and decor
Style over function with poor wardrobe space and handmaid outside of toilet / shower room

the bed was so big! the decor both at reception and in the rooms was really nice. love the touches of dyson hairdryer and ghds. the unlimited teas and variety was really good.
you couldn’t turn on bedside lights on their own.
no kettles in rooms you have to go out in corridor for hot and cold water
4.0
Not sure that having a hot water boiler in the passageway is a good idea, it meant I had to get dressed and leave my room with 2 cups to make tea.
