My family came from South Carolina to stay in this home. We were a little worried since the home does not have air conditioning and it was July. There was no need to worry! The house was very cool and never got. This house was equipped with high end appliances, fixtures and amazing views from all around. Great outdoor space. Grand master suite. Breath taking views from up on the rooftop porch. So close to the ferry (22 minute ride to Seattle) The private beach is gorgeous, easy on the way down, a little tougher on the way up. Washer and dryer in site. Coffee pots- regular brew, k-cups and espresso. Plenty of seating at the dining table.
I would absolutely stay here again!

It was amazing! The house was beautiful. The views were beautiful! Highly recommend. Easy access to the peninsula, camping and beaches. Quick trip to Victoria BC is also easy.
4.7
Beautiful View - however, that's the only thing this property has going for it. It's a beautiful property, in a very quiet neighborhood. Lots of hummingbirds and eagles to be seen. Sadly, the interior of the home is dirty, and unkept. It appears clean, until you need to use dishes, and there is food caked on them. The floor is so dirty that, if you go shoeless, your feet will be black within 20 minutes. The washing machine smells moldy/musty and the upstairs bathroom is a slip/fall hazard as the shower does not drain properly. So many things I would have liked to love about this property, but couldn't. We will not be returning to this location.
4.7
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The house is full of windows with water views all around. We saw bald eagles, orcas, deer, bunnies, endless hummingbirds and other colorful birds at the feeders in the gorgeous garden. The walk to the beach was easy aside from being long and tiring on the way back! Our family of 5 had plenty of space and enjoyed every inch of the beautiful views. Can’t wait to book again.
4.7
Very nice house with a beautiful little garden and incredible views of Puget Sound. Multiple outdoor spaces where you can relax and enjoy the birds and flowers in garden while watching the boats go by. We would definitely stay here again!

Pictures do not do this property justice. This home was the most beautiful and picturesque location we have ever stayed at. Absolutely amazing!

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The home is beautiful and the view can't be beat! We had eagles flying past the house, right at eye level. It was amazing.
The home is very conveniently located just about 1/2 mile from the ferry dock and only about 20 minutes into the town of Port Orchard.
The house itself is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the shower is nice and hot. There are heated floors through out the house which was a very nice touch on the cooler evenings. Wish it would have been warm enough to open the big accordion doors and enjoy the outside. Easy to access and easy to communicate with the rental company.
It was a great choice for us to stay for a week up on the peninsula and I would definitely go back again.

As a tired tax accountant I chose this property as my vacation spanning the US income tax deadline to try to forget the stress that I experienced over the last 40 years at this time of the year. The property did not disappoint. The house was exceptional and the views stunning. We will definitely consider coming back.
4.7
We really enjoy the house, my family and I planning on staying there when we go back to Washington in the summer if the home is available.
4.7
We absolutely loved the house! I'd honestly like to buy the plans for it if the owner can provide the architect used. The view is incredible! We visit the area often and this will be our new 'go to' home!
4.7
Perfect in most every way, it was hard not bringing the whole family with us. But this time it was just the wife and I above the beautiful choppy Puget Sound.
The main sectional sofa was the only minor complaint. The cushions slide everywhere making lounging in it difficult.
Will come again!

Lovely home and great location.

As the other reviews say, the photos don't do this beautiful home justice. The kitchen is well equipped, with great appliances. The beds are comfortable. A treat - we saw two bald eagles from the back patio! One negative: the couch is not very comfortable.
4.7
Great house, clean, needs some maintenance attention with electricals though. non working lights in the staircase and loft is a hazard for this size of a house. hope they get it fixed before the next guests so people dont injure themselves walking around in the dark.

Exceptional property

The views are just like the pictures online; the rooms are spacious and kitchen is well-stocked. There are several small to medium issues with the house that other reviewers have noted and still haven't been addressed. The most disruptive problem was losing power in the living room every night just from having the tv on. We had to flip the breaker every night.

Beautiful property! Everything exceeded expectations. Views were amazing . Home was comfortable. Pictures do not do it justice

Beautiful, comfortable house, wonderful views

We loved everything about this property! The views were amazing. The layout of the home was perfect. The beds were comfortable. It was great to be outside the city!

We LOVED this property. In fact we found ourselves reluctant to venture out much during our stay. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck off the master bedroom which was so peaceful at night. The view is just gorgeous!
The garden is so peaceful and pretty. We took the ferry one day into Seattle and had a great time at the museum of pop culture.
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.
Everything was perfect and we would love to visit again and stay a full week next time.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.

💭! Stayed last year, 2022, same Labor Day weekend!
We love this house and the amazing gardens! Thank you Brent!
I would comment on some more TP, paper towels, dishwasher soap, a few more accouterments would be appreciated! Overall, lovely memories ❤️❤️❤️

We went here for a week on our honeymoon. The place was very clean upon arrival. The house has everything you’ll need except for tv you have to have your own subscriptions which kinda bites. The views definitely make up for it though.
4.7
Our favorite thing about the house was the views. The house had beautiful views of the water and we enjoyed watching the boats go by. We saw Mount Rainier every day. We even cut some of our activities short to come back to the house (which was wonderful) and play games or eat dinner on the terrace. We traveled with our grown children and everyone had their own space. The primary bedroom was especially nice. Check in was easy.
4.7
This home is spacious, the view is incredible. We couldn’t get enough of the garden in the backyard.
4.7
Lovely home, very comfortable and roomy. Windows galore with exceptional views of sunrise and sunset and everything in between. Seating options, eating options, relaxing options. Gardens were beautiful with variety of plantings that attracted birds, butterflies, and deer. Easy access to ferry. Pleasant, comfortable feeling.
4.7
It’s a gorgeous home with incredible views and comfortable beds. Lacking some attention to detail that would make it a 10. As if it was an unfinished thought.. maybe it’s a new rental. There are not enough glasses of any one kind to make a set of 4 let alone 6 and the griddle didn’t work or at least there were no instructions/ manual on how to use the house. The couch/ living room seating is plain terrible and there was not enough toilet paper to last 4 days…and not enough hot water to fill the tub upstairs.
A couple of safety concerns. A breaker would pop anytime we used the fireplace in the living room and the smoke alarm in the upstairs master had been removed. Both lamps in the master bedroom upstairs were broken and we chose not to use them due to fire concerns.
With a little TLC and a few final touches this could be incredible!

We stayed here for five days after a couple weeks in Hawaii with family. It was a nice break before returning home to Michigan. The house is beautiful. Every convenience you need is there. We got lucky and had perfect 90° sunny weather. There's a path you can take to walk down to a private beach. It's steep but it's a good workout. From the house you can see the ferry, which is only about 1000 yards away but you can also drive around to get back to Seattle. The views are stunning. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

I have stayed at many different rentals and this one was by far the best! The views were stunning, wildlife everywhere. Great house if you are traveling with kids- path right down to the beach. House was stocked with all the essentials. Will be back!

Amazing home. Beautiful views. I’ll be back!

We had a lovely stay at this property -- nice to just hang out at the house and look out at the view, watch the ferries go by. Great location for exploring nearby attractions / state parks, we went to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium with our three-year-old son, easy drive down there. Nice beach access via a path out the backyard. A great home for families to stay, separation with the master suite upstairs. Spacious kitchen / living area. Extremely easy access to the ferry, but still feels very private.
4.7
Wonderful home, beautiful views, easy beach access, very comfortable. Watching the ferries while looking for whales was a joy. The kitchen was fun to cook in, and the gardens were filled with interesting plants. Exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet, relaxing stay.
4.7
This house has a balcony that seems to be the highest point in the area….awesome view
Lots of glass windows from living room and bedrooms to see everything
4.7
Well, the kitchen could have handiwrap, foil, sponges, etc. that would be useful! Also, more glassware…pretty limited! Overall pretty close to perfection ❤️❤️

10/10 recommend this place and we definitely want to come back again!! Everything about this house was amazing, hard to know where to start! As a first timer to the state of Washington the view from the house was insane, from beautiful Pudget Sound to Mt. Ranier to downtown Seattle! I didn’t realize there was mountains all around and we could see Mt. Ranier, Mt. Baker, and the Olympus all from the top deck on a clear day…so in love! The hike down to the beach was steep, but really fun and that’s where you get the view to downtown Seattle and can see the space needle!!
We loved watching the ferries cross, especially at night with all the pretty lights across the water. Ferry access was so easy, and a quick 30-40 min to Seattle. We ate dinner in Gig Harbor which was also beautiful, totally recommend El Pueblito, Tide’s Tavern, and Hops and Drops to eat.
We did a little hike in Banner Forest which was only a few minutes away from the house and it was beyond beautiful, wish we could’ve stayed there longer!!
The room upstairs has the most amazing views, coziest fireplace, and gorgeous bathroom. The loft area was perfect for my daughter. The kitchen and living room with the wide open doors/wall was to die for!
All in all…this home in Southworth stole my heart and I cannot wait to come back :)
Also management was great, very attentive, and had zero issues!

The house was beautiful and serene. We could've just stayed on those patios and enjoyed the views and perfect weather the whole time we were there. The hummingbirds and other birds were so fun to watch.
It's about 7 miles from the town of Port Orchard so unless you time your outings with the bus that comes and goes from the Southworth Ferry, you will need a car. Taxi and Uber were available. We had groceries delivered the day we got there and mostly ate at home in the professional kitchen.
4.7
We had a great stay. The garden and view are awesome. So many humming birds. If you appreciate a beautiful garden, you will love this property.
We used the steep hill to get to the beach to paddle board. Beach was ok, but hill is a trek.
Access to the ferry was wonderful. We too the passenger ferry to Seattle to shop and have dinner. It’s a short 25 minute ride.
The home is beautiful with a view from almost every room. Hope to return.
4.7
We were disappointed that our original reservation was for 4 nights but serendipity, 3 nights were fine. The property is the entertainment and it is gorgeous and there are no fine dining restaurants so since there are 2 chefs in the family, we cooked! One problem. I did not know vacasa. They are good but we thought we were booking with VRBO, not a property manager. Second, your or their check in time is too hotel as is checkout. 4pm c/in is a day wasted! 10AM c/out also stupid. A Vrbo experience is not a hotel stay. Lastly, the DCS range was nearly non functional, top burners, small oven on bake only or the thing shut down . New renters coming in tomorrow! Going to be VERY unhappy. Plus get some propane in! They will need it because the range oven is useless. And it is internal so the owner or whoever needs to do something ASAP. Small complaint. Not a single hair dryer in place. Very unusual and not expected.
4.7
Beautiful home with a private beach just a short walk down the bluff. The views are beyond compare! I highly recommend staying here! Added bonus that it’s dog friendly.
4.7
I booked this property through VRBO, but it's managed by Vacasa so the review reflects Vacasa's management: The day I checked in, I emailed Vacasa about the oven not being operational. The next day I called, but gave up being on hold for an extended period of time and emailed again on the 14th. I didn't get a reply from Vacasa until the 15th - that's two days after checking in. That day I heard from the local person about the oven not being able to be serviced until after we checked out. I also had issues with the cleanliness. I sent them pictures of the dirty washcloths I used to clean the master bathroom floor - showing that it clearly hadn't been mopped for weeks. I also have pictures of mildew in the master shower and dust bunnies on the floor. There were pee drips down all of the fronts of the toilets. The local person said I would receive an amenities credit for the oven not working and the sub-par cleaning job. I haven't heard from Vacasa about any kind of a credit. If you are the owner of this property I'd seriously consider replacing your management company. Outside of these issues, the property has an amazing location and view and is very well appointed and comfortable!
4.7
This property does not disappoint. A beautiful home with a spectacular view.
