Staying at this property was very stressful, we thought we had been scammed. We sent messages, emails and made phone calls that were not responded to. The phone number was an answering machine in another country it seemed. We did not receive details on how to check in until 6.30pm on the day of arrival, when it states check in is at 3pm. They stated they had sent emails which I never received. No apology or any compensation was offered for their lack of communication. We were very stressed all day whether we would have a place for 9 of us to stay that night while we waited for the information on how to get into the property. Terrible management.

Good location.
Couch and main bed need updating, they are old and stained.
Everything else was spot on.
Good communication.
We left early, only stayed 1 night, because of the main bed.
Other than that it was good.

Thank you for a lovely Stayz.

On opening the front door there was a very strong aroma of food which I thought was strange as we were checking in at 10.00pm and considering the previous occupants would have vacated some 12 hours earlier. As we had a baby I had requested a cot and confirmed 2 days prior to our arrival that we would supply the linen. We searched everywhere in the house and no cot at all. After numerous phone calls I finally managed to speak to someone. The cot was apparently in the cleaners storeroom which we had no access to so another code was given to me to access this room. The cot was there partly assembled.
The shower was used that same night only to have the whole shower room flood due to the drain being blocked by an amazing amount of hair so not sure when that was previously cleaned. Fortunately the cleaner was working on another unit the next day and came and cleaned out the drain.
The email we received just prior to checking in said no shoes were to be worn in the house but we found that the floors were so dirty that I had to mop myself due to everyone having black feet from walking on the floor.
As we checked out on Anzac day there was a 50% surcharge on cleaning which is something to consider when booking on a public holiday. If the house was spotless I could understand but the kitchen was very greasy and the exhaust fan was very dirty.
The location of the unit was great for what we needed but a bit more care with cleaning could make this a nicer place to stay.

It was a family trip with 3 kids; therefore we expect a worry-less place to stay. However, just before we arrived, an email which was supposed to be a warm welcome but with a lot of rules, regulations, warnings and potential fees/charges arrived in my mailbox. You could think of this as the owner wanting to keep the room at a high standard, but when you look inside, it's not. The couch/sofa in the sitting room was dirty. 2 of my kids got allergies from day 2. We must keep reminding them to stay away from the couch for the rest of the period.
My husband needs to use the WIFI to do some work because he has a deadline for his project that week. You would never expect the download speed to be less than 1Mbps in this modern age. We have communicated with the owner about this matter a few times, but the problem never gets resolved. We ended up buying a data plan and using a personal hotspot for everyone to share.
The property would certainly be better if the above issues did not exist. The location, and the size, are still the attraction for this place.
If you ask me whether we would stay there again, sorry, we won't.

We booked for a concert at Suncorp Stadium This apt was perfect, we could walk or cheap cab ride to concert.
Venues for eating are a short drive away.
The train station is also a short walk away
The apt was spotless and had a lovely outdoor area, perfect for having a quiet drink
We had a great stay and recommend this apt to everyone

A nice property.

Nice looking apartment with everything needed for our stay, including a high chair for the little one and a few toys she could play with. There was also a baby gate at the stairs which was great to pull across for safety.
Lovely to have a bottle of complementary wine a cookies, needed those after our long trip!
The apartment was clean however there were pubic hairs on the bed sheets and the bed heads were very dusty, giving is allergies all night. We got quite a bit of animal hair on is from the furniture and mat in the lounge room. The back yard is very unkept and not suitable for children to play in and the patio off the apartment was not usable and very dirty.
Mouldy outdoor sofas, and very dirty floor
And glass surrounding patio dirty and lots of spider webs, so we didn’t use that area.
Loads of emails while we stayed to take bins out even though we were not there for bin day and also emails about other fees that could be charged. There was a smoke alarm in the garage that beeped all night keeping us awake, and the tap in the bathroom projectile off and hit me when I turned the bath on, so had to fill the bath up slowly with the shower. Now after leaving we received an email stating that the cleaners have found a large mark on the wall
and our bond would be withheld. The mark is a huge black mark with paint scraped scraped off that runs all along the top of the wall above the Tv and it’s something no way myself or my little people could climb up and do. We were out so much during our stay
And spent so little time in the apartment that I hadn’t hadn’t even noticed a mark on the wall of that extent so I’m feeling like this doesn’t even exist or is old video of the wall
That has been sent so that my bond can cover
Damage made by someone else. I DO NOT recommend these apartments unless you want to part with your bond with false and rude accusations.
