The albergue was excellent, but the drunk tourists that stay there, woke everyone up 4 o'clock in the morning, they stole everyone's food in the fridge. AND, they left the kitchen in such a mess like I have never seen before. I could not imagine that pigs would make such a mess..

I liked the cleanliness, position in the town, the bar/restaurant
I don't know if there were a washing machine or place where wash clothes.

Location
Bar downstairs
- Asked for a bottom bunk as I was injured, I was told there were none available. I was the first one to check into the 8 bed dorm room. After me there were only three others who were all on the bottom and there was one bottom bunk free the entire night.
- Bit pricey for what you get

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the place, the beds.
I was a biti unsure about the security - but wonder how many times the codes are changed at the locks?
4.0 / 10.0
I waited for more than 30 minutes for registration because there was only one staff to take care so many residents during busy hour for check in.
The lock of the toilet/shower room was disappeared. Anyone could open the door when you were using the toilet/shower room. I addition, it is a unisex one.

location and facilities were very good
there was a wedding party that yelled had music blaring from midday to about 8.30pm at night
but then a school group arrived and they were running around the property screaming slamming doors without any one checking them to be quiet. The group didn’t settle until midnight!!!!
NO sleep whatsoever ever

No kitchen to make a cup of tea. Or coffee.

Exactly what you need if you're a Peregrin of the camino. There's a kitchen to cook your meals and people are friendly. Perfect location!

I was satisfied.
Please for check-ins, avoid doing the check-in at the bar. The bedsheets were handed to me at the bar in the full glare of the revellers/bar clients, very embarrassing. Its best you place the bedsheets on the beds prior to check in. Otherwise, all was good.

The location (close to the cathedral).
- Impersonal attitude of the staff. To their credit, all staff people seemed to be under constant time pressure, running after time in order to get too many things done within too little time.
- LACK OF SAFETY OF HOSTEL'S FACILITIES. I need to tell my story, hoping that it will not happen to others. When I wanted to take a shower, I entered the shower cabin and tried to close it by sliding the glass door. The glass door came off its track and fell at my feet, breaking into thousands of pieces (see attached picture). I had to step on these pieces of glass to get out of the bathroom and call for help. A roommate went to the reception and just had to say "We have a problem in the bathroom" : the receptionist had understood, grabbed his safety kit, and called a helper to clean the bathroom. What shocked me the most : the receptionist told the helper that this was the THIRD TIME that such an accident happened. INCREDIBLE : how can the Hostel's management let such things happen ? why do they not take any measures to prevent the reoccurrence of such potentially serious accidents ? For me that could have been dramatic : like many customers of this hostel I am a pilgrim walking to Santiago de Compostela, can they imagine what it means to have to step on pieces of glass ?

they put me - a female solo traveler into a room for males only without blinking an eye. they probably just wanted the money. the bathroom floor was covered with poo and the toilet was disgusting. the smell was horrible. I went to say that something isn’t right and they were like oh it’s an all guys room we don’t know what happened there. but no apologies. the whole town was booked out it was in the middle of the night. I asked if I could charge my phone and they said no. it was a horrible experience. I felt extremely unsafe and I am still waiting for an appropriate response from booking. it was outrageous!!
