I was travelling with my 3 sisters from Canada heading towards Martha's Vineyard for a sister's reunion. We all appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail. The space was well appointed. The fridge ice maker did not work well so having some ice cube trays would have been helpful. I highly recommend The Islander.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rental was extremely clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. Ample pots and pans for cooking. Overall we would stay there again.

Really enjoyed our brief stay. Sadly weather was uncooperative for taking a walk to the beach, but it was so restful.

From the booking to accommodating our special requests to the location of the house and the most beautiful surrounding waterways it was perfect. We wished we could stay longer and will certainly come back next year with all of our family. Thank you Matt for a great experience on Cape Cod.!

We were in town for a wedding at new Seabury...perfect location, quiet neighborhood, host was great!
10.0
The property was very nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host and cohost were both great, we arrived a little early and they let us check in instead of making us wait. The only disappointment was the private beach at the end of the road. There were badly broken stairs that were dangerous to use and no ‘beach’ to speak of… you couldn’t put down a blanket or a chair for example. We had a different expectation based on the description of the property.

Absolutely beautiful property. Very clean, light and airy. I love the beach vine.
Overall love the location and the property.

Little slice of Heaven
We were welcomed into this beautiful home and discovered it to be just as pictured. Home smelled and looked cleaned, beds were comfy. Plenty of bath and beach towels, detergent for a quick load of laundry, toiletries, the coffee also was a nice to have for our short stay. Truly all the essentials that we didnt have to worry about to make for an easy and comfortable family vacation.
The home is surrounded by beautiful water ways just steps from the home. Enough to enjoy a beautiful walk, dipping our feet in and our boys to throw out a line and do a little fishing. The home had all the kitchen essentials to cook family meals, a nice large sectional for a family movie night for us to unwind from a day exploring the Cape. Grocery stores, shopping and dining near by! We could not have asked for a better landing pad while on the Cape! Thank you Matt for your hospitality and letting us call this home for a few days!

Relaxing get-a-way
The house was lovely, neat and well equipped. My two cousins and I had a relaxing time. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch in front of the gas fire pit in the evening. Never turned on the TV once. Enjoyed some sightseeing, reading, shopping and each others company.

A relaxing getaway
This is a perfect spot for a late summer getaway. The immediate area is quiet but not far from beaches and shopping. The property and very clean and well-maintained, and contained everything we needed. The fire pit on the front porch was a very welcome plus in the evenings. Our questions were answered quickly by the owner. We would definitely consider returning.

Perfect for a family getaway
My husband and I stayed for two nights with our two young boys. The house was perfect for us. It felt private and we loved the front porch, and the fact that we could see the water, but could easily get to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. We stayed in April so the area was quiet, but we were able to bike, go for walks, and visited some local attractions. It was. a perfect quick getaway for us!

Great stay
We had the perfect socially distanced stay at this house. We loved the little beach at the end of the road, found fun walks to explore and had some great take out that we are back at he house. My daughters were sad to leave and already asked when we can go back!

great place!
We stayed here for a long weekend in July. The location was great-- very quiet and secluded, tiny private beach area that my kids happily played at for hours, and close to bigger beaches (though require paid parking). Matt was great- very responsive and helpful! We used the kitchen a lot and it had all the tools/cooking items needed.

Great Home Base
Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean and updated! Since it was our first "Cape trip" we were exploring by day and, by night, enjoyed coming home to relax on the porch with a cozy fire. Very quiet neighborhood. Nice spot for walking, biking and running but definitely need a car for driving to beaches, shops and restaurants. Also a lovely spot at the end of the street to watch the sunset. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and quiet piece of Cape Cod
Matthew is amazing and responds to inquiries very quickly. The cottage is beautiful and literally a short walk to a fantastic water view. It was too windy for the fire table, but we'll hopefully be back to enjoy it. All you need is food, wine and good company for your stay!

Early Spring Getaway
Thank you Matthew! Our stay was delightful with plenty to do as you mentioned. We visited several of the restaurants you suggested as well as the beautiful beach and shops and all were delightful! Your own, our home away from home, was immaculate and we couldn't have been more pleased or felt more rested at the end of our too brief sojourn! Thank you again! Alan and Laura Robbins

We were having a very relaxing vacation.
I loved the sunrise and the sunset, depending on in which room I was staying.
We were walking a lot on different areas, shopping is also very close nearby.
It was a perfect house for the two student daughters and me
