We loved this place and plan to use again in the future!!

Very nice cottage and hostess. Everything was like it was listed. Not a single problem on this trip and I would highly recommend it. We came here for a short weekend vacation with 3 of our grandkids and 2 Chihuahuas. We will go back here if we do this trip again next year.

Very cozy cabin, feels like you're staying at your cool aunt and uncle's place. The weather was bitterly cold but we stayed toasty warm. There are so many extra touches, I can't imagine anything that you would need that is not available. We cooked for New Year's Eve party, and a big pancake breakfast the next morning. Everything you want has been carefully set up for you. I never book a place that isn't very secluded and this is a community of similar A-framed cabins that are pretty close, and look a little small. Don't be misled by either, these cabins are very insulated so you don't notice outside noise or neighbors, and the lay-out makes for plenty of room for friends and family. Our group included two couples, a moody teenager, and an excited and energetic ten year old. Everyone had plenty of space to do their own thing and just the right amount of space to feel close together as a family welcoming a bright new year. We had a great stay and are planning our spring trip. Glad we found this perfect mountain gem.

It was a great short stay.
4.7
My family was very pleased with location and all facilities were nice. Would have liked fan in small bedroom, but was still okay.
4.7
This property was listed as a 2 bed 2 bath. Not accurate1 bed down stairs with an open loft upstairs. Only 1 1/2 bath, 1/2 bath was in the down stairs bedroom. House had no place to hang cloths. House needed some major updates as it felt old and worn out. Most of the house was clean but the kitchen was a different story kitchen was very area was very dirty, every thing felt very greasy, 1/2 inch of dust in kitchen ceiling fan. Kitchen just needed a good scubing.

Property delivered as advertised. We had a great stay and my kids loved the loft bedroom that they got to stay in.

Easy to rent host was great to provide information

It says it was a log cabin but it turn out to be a framed house. It stated that it have a blender there wasn’t a blender on on site.Call housekeeper to get one, she didn’t return our call so went and brought one. There was two barque grill on site both was in bad shape to grill. There was no place to hang your clothes in the bedroom. The toilet seat was broken on one of the bathroom. The web site didn’t show the bathrooms with pictures, now I see why.Very small area to put your belonging.
4.7
This is an A frame and I hit my head a dozen times during the week. Also, the photos of the property implied it was remote, but in reality there were a half dozen similar houses just feet apart. A 100 foot photo would have turned me off right away, if it showed the proximity to other buildings.
The floor was very unlevel for a build of this vintage. Not a bad cottage, but a great one either.
4.7
The house was very clean upon arrival. Very cozy feeling to the house and comfortably fit our group. Great location near Cataloochee Ski Resort. Could tell the property was managed by someone who cares. Great weekend!
4.7
We had a few problems that arose during our trip and Rebecca was responsive. House was close to town and Waynesville. Enjoyed our time away from our hectic schedules. The creek is so peaceful to listen to. Thanks so much for a great trip.
4.7
All was well!! We had a few bumps but it was all fixed very fast!! The owner is very nice and helpful.
4.7
Great little getaway for the weekend. Loved the house. Would definitely stay again.
4.7
Very nice to feel like you are coming home after being out all day on adventures. Only problem was the oven. We decided to make homemade pizzas and each one burnt a little bit more as we cooked them. I don't think the oven kicks off when it reaches the temp you set it at. It just kept getting hotter. Other than that though, it really was a very nice stay
4.7
It is a very nice place for a short visit at Maggie Valley, convenient to all attractions and it has everything we need in the house
4.7
Wonderful location. Every morning and evening the elk were at the end of the drive! The cottage was stocked with all our needs and communication with the owner was the best 👍 Easy access to dining and shops as well as a short drive to The Smokies and Blue Ridge parkway.
4.7
Very easy to rent!
4.7
This adorable A-Frame cabin was the perfect location near the main road in Maggie Valley & just 5 minutes to the parkway. It was an excellent resting spot for our family. It is very close to neighbors on either side, which I did not realize from the photos, but it was no big deal since we were not at the property much. Excellent info provided on local things to do~ Can't wait to visit again.
4.7
This cabin has an outstanding view with a cute front porch. Definitely enough space for a very small group. We were out hiking a lot, so really only slept here. Read the full description, it is a 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath with a loft. The only shower is not a full size as the slanted wall cuts off half. Found a little mold or some form of black subdtsnce on the bottom of the shower curtain and corners in bathroom were a little gross. Honestly do not recommend for larger people as it would be a tight fit. Bed and pillows in main bedroom were very uncomfortable (I realize this is a personal option), recommend bringing your favorite pillow at a minimum. As a safety consultant I did not care for the heat being a gas fed flame located close to furniture. Can't help it, but made me nervous. Washer worked best only with warm water which I did not like (again, personal opinion). Did not like that the previous renter is responsible to start laundry. How can you know if it's actually clean? Another personal opinion is I found it to be rather outdated.
4.7
Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. We had a great trip and love the view from the rental. We got to see an elk and enjoy the convenience of being close to everything!
4.7
Did find some mold on shower curtain, no extra supplies were left on site, (paper towels, washer detergent to do 1'st load of laundry when leaving, misc.) I have complained before that that toilet is way too low clearance and needs to be replaced (it also would not shut completely off after flushing). Combination of 2 remotes just to properly operate tv was very much a pain. After staying there a couple years bi-annually, not sure if we are returning.
4.7
Outstanding property.Best location to all the attractions, outstanding views of the mountains from front deck.Chalet was very clean with great scrapbook of the many things to do there.Would stay here again!! A. ++
4.7
We really enjoyed our stay. This house is perfect for families with children. The upstairs area even had some toys and games to keep kids entertained. It is also a great location as you are right at Maggie Valley and just a few minutes from Cherokee.
4.7
It was small and perfect for our needs. The bathroom needs to be listed as 1 1/2
4.7
Pros:Very clean. The owner of this property took time to detail and convenience. The owner even has a guide book to explain how things work if you were unsure, nearby restaurants, attractions and activities. Everything you could possibly need was here! Even things you didn't think of. I had my granddaughter with me and we bring toys and such with us but this chalet even had toys available varying in age appropriateness for all ages. Owner was fairly easy to reach also. Cons: Well there really wasn't any but if i have to name any there wasn't many trash bags; however there are two main cans outside beside property you can put trash in directly. Also the main level bedroom gets a bit warm if you leave door open it helps but if you shut for privacy it does get a bit stuffy would recommend a ceiling fan being added. Leaving door open really wasn't a con in my circumstance but could be potentially for others. Special mention is GPS brings you to road the property is on that doesn't have access with a car. You should turn on the road before the one gps states which is not a direct result of owner just a mention for future guest. Lastly this chalet was perfect! Best overall my family have stayed at in quite some time and we tend to travel a bit! The location is in the middle of everything a couple miles one way is Maggie Valley Fairgrounds and a few miles the other way is Cherokee and all it has to offer! If were back in the area would most definitely stay here again if it's available! Lastly Rebecca is truly awesome she thought of everything when staging this chalet and every convenience and the listing is accurate and really doesn't do this chalet justice! Thanks Rebecca for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful chalet and hopefully we will again! Until next time...

The house was cramped and the shower was small if ya moved just right you would hit your head. Not updated at all but it was okay for the night.
