Beautiful accommodation and to a very high standard.
Beautiful accommodation and to a very high standard. Private decking area, leading to large shared garden, with access to New Forest at the bottom. Only downside, next to A31. So noisy, if not used to it.

Lovely cottage very well equipped even down to salt and pepper.
Lovely cottage very well equipped even down to salt and pepper.
Only problem is the location right next to the A31 when your not used to traffic noise it's a bit of a shock. As the cottage was just a base we didn't spend all our time there. The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. pet friendly and has fenced off terrace to let them out unattended. Gardens were beautiful and you could walk through straight into the Forrest. Apart from the traffic noise we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alice’s Lodge.
We really enjoyed our stay at Alice’s Lodge. This is a very well thought out and equipped cottage and is very well placed to investigate the national park. It’s just yards away from the A31, which provided easy access to the East or West although as we got braver we often opted for a cross country route down B roads, though the heaths. The garden made an excellent breakfast spot and even though we stayed during a heatwave, the cottage still kept reasonably cool.

Fay & John were fantastic, the cottage had everything you could need right down to salt and pepper.
Fay & John were fantastic, the cottage had everything you could need right down to salt and pepper. We walked out of the gate from from the garden and we were in the New Forest.
Cottage was superb, I am hard to please and can fault anything but even I would have a job to fault the cottage.
Five minutes from Ringwood which has many places to eat with plenty shops, we will be going back.

Superb for us and our 2 dogs, lots to see and do without the need of travelling too far. I would love to come back here but am sure it will be fully booked very early as this really is an absolutely cracking place to stay.
