About this apartment rental
Fully equipped and furnished two-bedroom apartment with hardwood floors, high ceilings and mid-century modern decor for short- and medium-term rental in the quaint village of Hardwick, Vermont. The rental apartment is in a newly renovated 1895 historic building with a full kitchen and dining/living area. Large bay windows offer lovely views of the Lamoille River. A park with trees, perennials and seating sits adjacent to the building.
The apartment is only a few steps from several popular restaurants. A gym is located a block away. A food co-op with local and home-grown products along with a more traditional grocery store are within easy walking distance. The Hardwick Trails, 6 miles of woodland hiking and cross-country skiing, are less than half a mile away. World-reknowned brewery, Hill Farmstead Beer, is in nearby Greensboro and Caledonia Spirits distillery with its tasting room, including its top-shelf gin is just down the road. Local water bodies for swimming and kayaking include Caspian Lake, Wolcott Pond and Green River Reservoir (also with non-motorized boat access).
The rental is within easy driving distance of local ski resorts and near to Stowe, Greensboro, Smugglers Notch, and Montreal. It is also located near longer hiking trails, including the Appalachian and Long trails, mountain biking trails, canoeing and kayaking, cross-country skiing, and lots of good antiquing.
The Village of Hardwick has become known as a sustainable food center, and was featured in the book, "The Town that Food Saved," by Ben Hewitt. Small food producers, such as the Cellars at Jasper Hill cheeses, Vermont Soy products, Pete's Greens, High Mowing Seeds, and the Vermont Food Venture Center cluster in and around the town.
We also have an additional apartment for guests to stay one floor above.
There is an additional $25.00 fee per person, per night for the third and fourth guests.

Unique experience overlooking Main Street and the Lamoile River. Accomodations were comfortable and easy to access from rear parking.

Neat and clean place. Situated in main Hardwick street, at the heart of north Vermont. A little far from main Vermont cities and attractions. Would recommend.

Clean, bright and comfortable
The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. We had no issues at all. There is some traffic noise but the bedroom has a noise machine. I slept well! The other guests in the apartment building were as quiet as a mouse!

Great place to stay!
Nice little town, Very good pizza place downstairs and a nice breakfast place right across the street. Coffee place right downstairs too.
Kitchen was nicely supplied, and having gas range was nice too!
Apartment we stayed in was in the front, did have road noise, if you are used to complete silence at night, might cause a restless night. Ask for a back apartment and you should be Ok.
Overall very good experience for a very quick visit, would stay again!

Perfect Hardwick pied a terre
This beautiful apt is spacious, stylish and very comfortable. There’s a view of the river from the front room. It’s right in the heart of town above a good restaurant and bar and across the street from the best diner. There was also a day pass to the local workout fitness center. This is a beautiful area. Highly recommend.

Great apartment that is near everything we needed.
What a fun place to stay! The apartment is very close to several places to eat and shop. We loved the calzones at Positive Pie and the mussels at The Scale House. The decor was beautiful and inspiring, and the apartment was clean. Claudia was very helpful and she gave us a few great recommendations for our winter adventures. We are hoping to come back again when the weather warms up!

exploring Vermont
This was a great find so that we could explore Northern Vermont. It's clean and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, washer and dryer, and bed is comfortable. The owner was very accommodating which we appreciated. The location worked out better than we thought because we really didn't know much about Vermont. We hardly left a road untouched in Northern Vermont and the Mount Washington, NH area was a wonderful day trip. We were even fortunate to hit that on a beautiful day! Hardwick is a very small community in a beautiful setting with good restaurants and food shopping in walking distance. The only downside if you want to sleep in or a light sleeper are the two converging highways below the apartment. We'd do it all over again!
