The house and stay was awesome. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive.

Our experience was great! The house and location are amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very beautiful, clean and peaceful place. There was plenty of communication from the host Yocasty. Although my signal/connection was spotty, she always replied to my messages quickly. Margarita was very nice and helpful. Gerardo was very friendly and kept the pool and grounds always clean. Noe was also very friendly and we always felt safe having him guard at night. If any recommendation it would only be to have softer mattresses and maybe have the house/furniture updated. Other than that I appreciated that they had plenty of towels, toilet paper and water to drink. They also had coffee, oil, gas for the grill and basic condiments and seasonings. The refrigerator also made ice. All of that is always a plus for us. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone and I would definitely go back again.

This was a much needed escape from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for wifi, the latest TV shows, then stay home. This is a wonderful villa, with a nice clean pool, a beach within walking distance, and various natural attractions nearby. Just what the doctor ordered.

Our group of 6 had a great time at this property. We were three adults and three kids (ages 13, 11, and 9). Plenty of room for everyone and a wonderful shaded patio with a tremendous view for enjoying the days and nights. Yocasty was a very helpful and communicative host. Margarita was a great cook and provider of local knowledge. And the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive as well. We enjoyed the beach a lot, great sand and clear water waves for the kids to play in. We also took some hikes up and down the shoreline to Playa Rincon and Las Galeras. A bit of an adventure but well worth it, especially a jump in the pool and a cold drink after the hike. It's been mentioned several times but the road IS rough, so bring a durable vehicle, but you will get there and relaxation awaits. We were there in March and had no bugs, great weather, and just the sounds of waves hitting the beach. There is a supermarket in Las Galeras and other places for supplies, I would try to stock up on the way there so you don't have to leave this wonderful location during your stay (unless you choose too for some sightseeing, hiking, boating, etc).

The home is located in a beautiful location. But make sure have everything you need on the way there. The road going in was rough and would be difficult for an inexperienced driver to “back roads”. Although it was worth the drive in. I would recommend having the maid do your cooking… she will also get the groceries you need (All at a cost). The beach close by was beautiful. The house and pool where great along with the help from yocasity and team!

I can't say enough about how beautiful this property is!! The house is amazing. We traveled with our two children 16 and 8 and they had an amazing time without a TV!!! For anyone booking, Margarita is the best cook on the island!! Daily she brought us fresh fruit and juice. The beach is absolutely lovely and peaceful. It is a short walk down the hill from the house but the hill is steep, we drove down. Yocasty, Noel and Geraldo are great and so helpful. Yocasty was so helpful with everything from arranging meals, recommendations for our covid test for our return to the states, restaurants, excursions, and more. We honestly felt like we were bothering her but she remained pleasant and polite (best customer service). While the description says any car with 4x4 will work, I would absolutely recommend a car that take a rugged terrain and a high clearance as the road to the house and the driveway is a challenge. The sound of the ocean at night is the perfect lullaby. We took a couple of trips to Las Galeras and Samana. We did an guide tour to the El Limon waterfall. There weren't any bugs day or night. The home does not have AC but you don't need it because the windows do not have glass and the breeze throughout the house is wonderful coupled with the ceiling fans. Lastly, patronize and get to know the people in the local communities. Most of the restaurants only accept pesos.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to this villa! The house and views were exactly as advertised. Moreover, the beach a short walk from the house is amazing. Check-in with the night security guard Noel was easy and he was very pleasant every night he arrived. Also, contact was very easy with the manager Alejandrina and she responded to all requests. Communication with Geraldo and Margarita, the pool and cleaning people, respectively, was also good. In all, we can highly recommend this house for a lovely stay!

Our stay at this villa was great. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The views from the house are incredible. The most amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from the house. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. A tv would be a great addition to entertain the kids, and better internet connection. Margot the house maid is great she was very helpful answering any questions we had. Margot is also a great cook, she prepared us the most delicious meals. Geraldo the grounds caretaker was also very helpful and courteous. Yocatty the property manager was great very polite and prompt to answer any questions and providing information about the villa.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is rather remote and quiet, so you can really get away. We just soaked in the beautiful landscape and amazing weather. We were usually the only ones on the lovely beach that is just a short walk away, at the bottom of the hill. Yocasty was so friendly and responsive. She helped stock our kitchen with groceries and helped us arrange meal preparations by Margarita, so it was a true vacation. The road to the villa is a country road and steep at times - we rented a car and drove from Santo Domingo. I would recommend an SUV if you drive. I would definitely recommend this home, the host and the location!

It was my dream vacation. We spend this beautiful villa a week with wonderful views. The villa is very clean and safe all the time. Thank you very much Yocasty and your super team for this wonderful place and unique vacation. We recommend this villa for your family or friends holiday. We rent a car so that we can visit the best places in the region, such as the El Limon waterfall is so beautiful that we will be back there. La Boca del Diablo. Manglar and Playa Beach - a great place. Samana - a beautiful resort town, you have to see that bridge. We bought fruits and vegetables from local street markets as well as fresh fish and seafood. The beach is 2 min from villa and it is like in paradise-blue water, sand, waves and it is private. We will be back here!!!

We just spent a week at Villa Flury in Las Galeras and it has been a fantastic experience. The house is gorgeous, even better than the pictures already suggest. Large, bright, comfortable rooms, a great living room/kitchen open space area, a spacious veranda where to have breakfast and eat (comfortably fitting 8 people). The pool is well kept and very enjoyable. Some minor issues with water temperature/pressure were readily taken care of by Yocasty and her team. The location is phenomenal: spectacular views, fantastic beach (Playa Colorado, possibly the nicest we have seen during our stay there, including Playa Rincon) 5 minutes walk from the Villa, remote and isolated, without ever feeling unsafe (thanks also to the people at the gate at the entrance of the villas complex and to Jorge who spent the nights on the premises). The temperature was perfect. In february, it is around 27-28 C (80-81 F) and breezy. A light jacket might be needed in the evenings, if it were to cover up or rain. Water temperature was good and it was pleasant to swim in the ocean (although the waters can be a bit wavey), and of course in the pool as well.to my great surprise there were ZERO mosquitos and other annoying bugs (the windows to the rooms have screens anyway), we had brought plenty of sprays but didn't use them at all.The Team (Yocasty, Margherita, Geraldo and Jorge) were fantastic and made our stay memorable: thank you all and especially margherita for the delicious dinners and for arranging the birthday cake.I would (and in fact I already have) recommend this place to all my friends.a few tips for guests: I highly recommend to have a car to explore the area, better if an SUV for clearance (the last bit of the road, within the complex is quite bumpy, and in general it is useful in some of the roads), but there is no need of 4x4.The villa is isolated and about 15 minutes from the closest village (los tocones) with a few Colmados (the local tiny 'general stores" which sell a little bit of everything) and fruit stands.in about 30' you can get to Las Galeras where there are plenty of shops and restaurants, and it takes slightly more to get to Samana', where there are a couple of supermarkets.if you can, try to arrive during the day and avoid evening driving, especially on the first day. lots of potholes, people on scooters and motorcycles without headlights, animals and people on the road. Enjoy!!!
