Overall it was a nice place. My family and I enjoyed the beach and being together. However there were just a few things that were not great. One is the parking, it says it can fit 6 cars in total, 2 in the garage and three in the driveway. This was not accurate for the driveway. Second the air conditioner was broken on the second floor, which made it very uncomfortable for family members sleeping up stairs. Lastly, some of the kitchen cutlery and items were either broken or in bad condition, making them unusable. Besides those things it was a nice place and we had a great time.

The location of this property was close to the beach and shopping. The property itself was disappointing. The backyard consists of dead landscaping and dirt. The interior of the house had a nice layout, however the upkeep was poor. There were large stains on the carpet, dead bugs in closets, live Palmetto bugs (a form of roach) throughout the house. The basement ceiling fan was loud enough to be heard upstairs. We expected a cleaner house for the amount spent for a weeks stay.

Overall, the property was great. As advertised. Plenty of space. Good location on the island. The house and location are definitely not for older or mobility challenged. The walk to the beach, even after driving and parking is long. We loved having our own pool but the backyard is completely dead and not inviting. Seemed like maybe the owner hasn't been there in a while. Lots of little things, like the lightbulbs in the kitchen stairs to the basement were burned out. Lots of touch up paint needed. Some light covers missing. Some dressers or drawer units in closets would be helpful. We are a large family, from 8-80yrs old, easygoing and casual so the house worked well for us overall. We had a fun vacation and made great memories.

House was beautiful and mostly sufficient for our family vacation. Convenient location to shopping not close to beach but nice walking trails. Gated community is very nice. Beach access was easy once we got there.
House is meant for a vacation rental not a home away from home. No keurig and very basic cookware. Pool area is different from pictures. Not maintained but pool was clean. Grill didn’t work or propane tank needed to be filled.
Furnishings were sparse but mostly adequate.

Everything ok with two exceptions:
1 - Right garage door very difficult to close.
2 - Room on ground floor too bare - would have been nice to have a lamp and a chest for clothing since there is no closet. Ceiling fan needs replacing - wobbles, makes too much noise, cannot adjust speed. We were afraid to use it and room was quite warm.

Great location, easy to get around the whole island. House was very roomy. We had 15 people stay comfortably.

We had an awesome stay. Our whole family (14 of us) came from several different states to
Celebrate Christmas together. There was enough room for all of us and the home was very comfortable. An abundance of towels. We paid to have the pool heated and it was well worth it for the kids. We played tennis every day at the park which was about a 10 minute walk. Everything we needed was close by. We had an excellent stay!

The house was well located. Most things were very good. The house needs some TLC. There were kitchen items we had to go out and buy. (Oven gloves, can opener, dish soap, dish towels). The grill would not heat up no matter what we tried. We enjoyed the large common areas. There was lots of room for our large group. Good location too.

We had the best time in this beautiful large home. We had 12 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone! We did drive to the beach because the walk was a little much for the little ones. We will stay here again.

We loved Hilton Head and the beach. We loved Tony and our rides to the beach. He was so much fun! The place was very nice and roomy. Our family had so much fun in your home, lots of laughs. Thank you for letting us stay!

We loved the room the house offered for our large family. Plenty of room on 1st floor for babies to run around. The beach was a hike so we drove and dropped off then parked in the public parking outside of neighborhood. It was very hot over the 4th so the downstairs kitchen living area stayed quite warm. The pool was a plus for hanging out. We thought there was a Kuerig Coffee Maker…just a normal coffee maker so we bought one to use for the week. Kitchen was stocked well as we cooked almost every night. Love it had 2 refrigerators. We kept 2 cars in garage and 3 in driveway. Another big plus the home is pet friendly…we have 2 fur babies. Our propane was out when we went to use grill but the property manager happened to be out when we were going to get some and he gave us a new one:) The home had several balconies which was nice for sitting out early morning and nights. There was plenty seating in dining room and bar area for our large group. The only negative that comes to mind is the ceiling fan closest to master was noisy probably just needs adjusting and the white couches are pretty but stress me (which shouldn’t). Thank you for sharing this large pretty home with our family.

My family of 16 all gathered in HH for an extended family reunion and this house fit all 16 of us. The pool area was sufficient for the 5 kids who enjoyed the very warm pool which came as an additional cost but worth it for the kids. Plenty of bathrooms to share amongst everyone. Location was good for easy access to local grocery stores (Whole Foods, Kroger), local beaches, and more touristy beaches such as Coligny where there's a great playground. I would recommend to the property owner the following: 1) extra sheets/blankets be made available in case there's a need should children stay there and/or if people need more warmth as the blankets were very thin ; 2) provide a brief summary of how to walk to the local beaches vs. letting people use Google maps; 3) replace the very dull knives and old pans as the non-stick has worn off and Pam didn't cut it; and 4) increase the utensil count so that it matches the # of people the house can accommodate. Besides that, the house fit our needs.

Excellent experience...Everything was clean and plenty of room for the kiddos to play...close to all the places we needed to go! Only dissappointment was price charged for a heated pool...

The perfect space for a 12 guy golf trip. Lots of room to spread out to eat and fix meals, relax by the pool or watch tv, and plenty of bedrooms/beds. The house had everything we needed for the weekend including towels/linens, kitchen utensils/pots/pans, and everything in between. Highly recommended for any large group and we will certainly look to book this property next time the group heads down!

We all really enjoyed staying at this house for a week together! We had 4 different couples / families and the house was able to accommodate all of us :) Would stay here again!

Our host Tony was wonderful! He made sure we got in and found everything we needed for a fabulous stay. The house was extremely clean and little welcome treats for each guest were placed in the rooms. The location was superb! While yes you can walk to the beach in a short jaunt we have a small special needs child and Tony gave us perfect directions less than a minute from the house for wheelchair access to the beach. The heated pool was a luxury as it was a bit chilly on our stay. The large porch with rockers was perfect for morning coffee talking with the whole family. Plenty of room for our whole family without crowding our personal space and the house had literally everything we desired. Shops, restaurants, the beach, golfing were all with in seconds from the house and the neighborhood was very peaceful. We LOVED IT! Our host being so gracious and helpful was the cherry on top of our stay!

The place was adequate for a group of guys on a golf trip. The floors and steps squeak with every step. Bedrooms and baths are good. Kitchen is okay. I would not be a great place for a family on a summer vacation for the beach. Too far to walk to the beach.

Stayed here for our group Hilton Head golf trip. Perfect layout, 8 total people each had there own bed, only two had to share a room. Perfect proximity to all on-island courses we played (Sea Pines, Barony and Golden Bear), plus close to multiple breweries and restaurants (specifically Shelter Cove area). Would highly recommend.

This house was awesome for our needs. While it did need some repairs (a few baseboard problems, some water stains, updated kitchen utensils) it was clean!! My top priority. The location was top notch and the beach access was nice. The pool is small and backyard is small, so plan to make your outside time at the beach, but otherwise I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the community and ease of getting around the island. The golf cart beach shuttle was very convenient. There was a bit of trouble with the A/C mid week, but someone came to take care of it before the end of the day. The house is a bit loud because of all of the hardwood, but that is to be expected. Overall we had a great week and loved HHI!
8.0 / 10.0
The house was great, did not realize it was quite a walk to the beach but shuttle was great, the stairs in the house are too noisy, the MBR upstairs wasted space too big, could have fitted another bedroom, pool was refreshing but could have done away with that concrete table was an invitation to disaster plus with pool being small it took up space. The kitchen counter needs sprucing , the tiles keep a lot of food particles in.Need soem kind of dresser in BR to hold clothes, wish there was another way to go into pool area other than thru BR eventhough we used the garage entrance too. Overall great house for the family vacay , great location close to everything. We donated pots and pans, veg peelers, dish rags and new dish drain , also get rid of those feather throw pillows they keep making mess . One last thing the faucet to jacuzzi needs to be adjusted it does not turn off properly
4.0 / 10.0
Overall we were disappointed for the money we paid for the house. Upon arrival our party of 16 spent a good bit of time cleaning the house.
1. The kitchen was filthy
2. The beds in the basement had dirty comforters and sheets (a large glob of hair in one of the beds)
3. One of the queen beds upstairs had a broke box spring (I notified the property manager and they replaced it within 2 hours) also dirty comforters and a stained nasty bed skirt
4. Shower curtain hooks missing and a clear shower curtain hung in jack and jill bathroom (suggest a non-see-through curtain in this set up
5. Basement toilet kept running
6. Bath on main floor smelled like sewer
7. Curtain rod in living room bent
8. Ceiling fan in basement inoperable due to no remote control ( property manager did by a pedestal fan to use down there for the week)
9. Not one dresser in any of the bedrooms to put your belongings on, so we literally lived out of our suitcases (for such an expensive property I would expect that there be a small dresser to store items in and on top of)
10. The property needs to be painted and the carpet in the bedrooms replaced
11. Pool area not inviting- needs updated furniture and landscaping- the grill was very nice
12. Box of old pool toys and beach chairs needs to be thrown away and replaced. Be sure to bring your own beach chairs as there are a few "camping" chairs that are rusted and falling apart
We enjoyed our time with family and the property was large and accommodating for the size of our party, but it needs a lot of TLC to bring it up to the condition it should be in to justify the price. Unfortunately would not rent this property again.

Vacation at Hilton head 2022
We had a wonderful time in Hilton head. The house was beautiful. We were a large group and it accommodated everybody that was there. There was a shuttle that took you to the beach and she was an amazing young woman with knowledge of the area and it was nice to be able to have that shuttle to take you to and from with all your beach stuff. The only thing I would say was there were no dressers in any of the bedrooms. And we found that a little difficult with clothing wise to where to put things. But overall we had a wonderful time and we joyed the house and it wasn’t far from the beach.

Family Gathering Flop
Main level access is by stairs only. We had a person in a wheelchair. No beach view. Floors needed mopping. Bikini bottom found in made up bed. 1 queen bed was broken. 2nd staircase creaks loudly. Pots and Pans need replacing, everything sticks and burns. Knives were not sharp at all. 1/2 bath toilet leaked from the bottom, Upper level toilet not bolted down, Main level bath sink leaking under with bowl catching water and had an odor. Owner responded immediately to all 3 bath issues and mx was done. Morning of checkout A/C failed. Great property that needs lots of care and attention. Renters should report everything to owner so that the next group won't have issues. Owner seems to be very willing to fix if its communicated to him.

Great house for Large families/parties
House was decent! We have a huge family and we were all very comfortable in the home. Location was great. We walked to the beach with lot of little ones (might be easier if you had a stroller), DD, Starbucks, McDonald’s, dollar stores, Walmart Publix, Kroger’s all very close around 10 min or less drive. We drove over to ride horses and found a great Childrens museum and play area.
Some cons: house needs to touch ups and updates, WHITE couch in a rental (didn’t think that was the best move), master bedroom pocket door was broken, walls needed paint.

Great townhouse. Horrible HOA
Accommodations were outstanding. Everything about the place was good except for property management hassling us the minute it hit 10pm. We were laughing outside on the back patio and were told there was some noise ordinance in Hilton Head and we had to go inside or they were calling the police. Ridiculous. Never heard of such a thing. Renters beware if you intend on having friends over.

All around great time.

Great location, close to beach and park.
The house was real nice and in a nice neighborhood. Enough space for our family. Just a few things for the house, maybe change the pillows to pillows that don’t have feathers coming out. The pool area was nice, just needed to be cleaned a little better. Also suggest a heater for the basement, because it was a little too cold, especially for people who sleep down there. Other than that we loved the house and location.

The house was beautiful but not very accommodating if you have elderly in your party because of all the steps. We had so much fun!

Beautiful spacious home with stairs
This property is spacious with enough room for 8 people to spread out and have plenty of room to relax. The location is convenient to multiple beaches, restaurants and shopping in the area. The only hang up we had was knowing the code for the entry gate because it was not stated in any of the checkin information. The property manager responded quickly with that information. It was a very nice stay!

I have mixed feelings…..
The pros: The house is in a great location and quite neighborhood. It is just over a half mile walk to the beach which we actually enjoyed (you can also use Steve the golf cart guy) and all of the beds are VERY comfortable!
Cons: I was thrown off by the condition of the carpets being badly stained in the living room and on both sets of stairs as well as the multiple scuffs and dings on walls. It also appears there have been multiple leaks as there is noticeable water damage on the kitchen ceiling and master closet. We also literally had to buy everything! I mean hand soap, paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper. I couldn’t even find a pen to use. The starter kit of dish soap is no where near enough for a week stay. The pool furniture isn’t in great shape and the backyard landscaping is less than appealing. We had a great time and loved the location, but the house is obviously a high volume cash cow with cheap furnishings and zero decor to make it feel “homey”.

Welcome Retreat
After the past year of COVID, our family of twenty was looking to get away for a week. The house was as advertised and perfect for what we were looking for. The golf cart shuttle was great and we rented bikes as well to travel back and forth to the beach. The house was set up great to handle our large number of guests. We had a great time.
4.0 / 10.0
Disappointing for the money
Poorly maintained. Carpeting needs replaced, walls need repaired/painted, fenced yard is overgrown, pool patio is filthy, bathrooms have mold. Save your money. Close to beach is at least .5 mile walk. This owner needs to take the property off the market until repairs are made.
