Beautiful, roomy, sunny 2BR, 2 BA old style Florida beach house and only 200 yards to beautiful Lido Beach. Short, easy walk to all the shops and dining at St. Armand's Circle. Relax on the front porch or in the courtyard out back. 2 bikes provided, ride to Lido Key Park or St. Armand's Circle in less than 5 minutes. Everything you need for the beach is included, just pack your suitcase and enjoy the sunsets. Take the free Bay Runner Trolley from the beach to downtown Sarasota and have your groceries delivered from Publix and you will have no need for a rental car!
Note: Lido Key does not allow dogs on the beach. There is a small beach on Bird Key nearby that is dog friendly.

We had an amazing stay again this year. We stayed for two weeks this time and the time just flew by everything in the house was beautiful. Everything we needed was there couldn’t ask for a better place to stay really close to the beach just one block away and also had a swimming pool next to the Lido Beach Pavilion, that was accessible Communication with the owners was fantastic. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

We had a wonderful stay in this adorable cottage. The home was very well stocked, anything that we may have needed was there for us. Laveda was so nice and available for any questions we had. Looking forward to our next visit there!

LaVeda was the perfect host, could not have asked for anything more. The house was clean, well-stocked and perfectly located within walking distance of the beach and St Armands Circle. This cottage is exactly as you see in the photos. It is cute. It is comfy. It’s in a great location. We felt safe. We were walking distance to many”things to do” Our communication with owner was 100% quick & positive. We had no issues/problems. We would choose this house again. We had an amazing vacation. The home that our family got to share was wonderful. It was exactly as described on the VRBO page. The homeowner was always gracious and very quick to respond to my questions. It was the best vacation that we have ever had and cannot wait to go back again next year. The location was terrific, and it became our home away from home. Having coffee early in the morning on the front deck was especially memorable. Thank you so very much for sharing your home with us.

The entire house was spotless and very well stocked with anything we needed. Beautifully decorated and beds were dreamy. Short walk to beach or we could drive and park at the pool area and enjoy both beach and pool along with snack bar 😀 Can’t wait to return depending on moms health. She wants to stay longer next visit.

This house was amazing! I've never rented one so well stocked! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets if you get cold! So close to the beach and shopping! I would totally recommend this house.

We were in Sarasota for a Sprint Canoe competition at Nathan Benderson Park but wanted to be close to the beach. This was the perfect location. We had every amenity at our fingertips along with the comfort of a spacious beach house to accommodate my teen son and I. The hosts are amazingly wonderful and responsive. I hope to visit again soon!

Our family greatly enjoyed our week stay at this cozy property! The location can’t be beat!! Easy walk to the beach and the property had all amenities of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys etc. St. Armand’s Circle was close by with restaurants, shopping, live music and my teenager loved hanging out at the Arcade! Home was very clean & well stocked with everything you need. LaVeda was excellent to communicate with me. Thank You for a great stay and we can’t wait to come back!

My family thoroughly enjoyed this home as it’s location was perfect. The beach was a very short walk and our teenagers enjoyed the morning walks to the circle for their coffee drinks. The home had ample living space and the front porch was perfect to relax on. The beds were comfortable and the blinds darkened the rooms at night. The home was well stocked, including beach supplies.

The local beaches do not allow dogs on or off leash at any time of day or night. Great house, steps away from the beach, but a beach I couldn’t go to with my dog so that doesn’t work. Also red tide can give some people respiratory issues so that’s something to keep in mind if you like to be in or near the water

The house is extremely comfortable. I’ve rented through many other rental sites several times over the years and have never been to a home that was as well-stocked as this one. This rental was so awesome. We grilled out a few nights and ate out a few. Went to the beach almost everyday, it was so close. Went to St. Armand's circle a few times, a very short drive. Found some awesome breakfast locations, at at two of them more than once. LaVeda was an awesome host, would definately stay there again. They had everything there, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, hair dryer and face wipes just to name a few things. We will be back!!!!!!!!!

This house had it all. It had accessories for the beach, space to lounge around in and anything you needed to cook. LaVeda was so accommodating with everything. I got engaged to my fiancé here and LaVeda was more than accommodating to allow me to have family over to hangout with that evening. Everything was clean, fresh, and just all around wonderful. I recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great stay close to the beach, close to shops, and at a great price point for renting!

The fact my husband just thanked me for booking such an awesome trip says it all!! The home was spotless and had literally everything that was needed and then some. Very tasteful furnishings and decor made it enjoyable when we were in the house. The location to the beach was a super easy walk to the beautiful beach and clear water. Convenient to restaurants and shops. We will definitely return!!

Close to Lido Beach and St. Armand’s Circle offering personal services, retail and wonderful restaurants! Enjoyed days in the warm water and nights of fine dining and shopping for gifts. Found a great salon to do my hair and another for my nails. Easy parking in a parking garage next to St. Armand’s Circle. We had a wonderful time.

This property is in a fabulous location on Lido Key! Close to the beach, free trolley and St. Armands Circle. Everything is within a few minutes walking distance. We didn’t have a car there and didn’t need one. The home was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. LaVeda was wonderful! She was so helpful, responded quickly and gave us great recommendations. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!!

We loved our stay at the Blue Ceiling! The location is ideal, a block to the beautiful Lido beach, and an easy 10 minute walk to wonderful shops and restaurants in St. Armand’s Circle. Will definitely be back!
