Facilities, pool, location
Maybe some facilities could have been open just to be in accordance with the NEFR.

Beautiful area and lovely grounds. Breakfast was really good.
Rooms were a bit dates. Not a good value (expensive for what you get).

Room had a slight odor.

location to ski lifts. clean. ski check. suite was nice, clean. staff excellent.
only 1 restaurant open due to short staffed. food was okay to good. the braised short ribs for $30 was awful. first, it was NOT short ribs. instead, it was thick slices of overcooked, well done, dry, beef. perhaps it was some sort of pot roast. it was not short ribs. our waiter was so nice and the dinner took so long that we didn’t even bother to complain. it’s unfortunate that the waiter didn’t notice that my husband didn’t eat his dinner.
I feel bad leaving this review. I understand staffing shortages however, a manage, chef or someone should be overseeing the food preparation. in the case, the entire wrong piece of meat was used in the recipe unless, of course, the person in charge does not know what short ribs are.

On a holiday weekend the Camp restaurant was only open for breakfast. The food was ok at best.. couldn’t finish the eggs as they were dry and tasteless! There are many restaurants within a few minute drive of the Grand Summit for lunch/ dinner although some closed early, did I mention it was a holiday weekend!?😳. The views are beautiful set nicely back in the woods.
But Those expecting a peaceful quiet room might appreciate knowing that the walls and floors are not soundproof 😳
Our entire floor in the suite shakes as the children across the hall play “run up and down the hallway”!
Don’t get me started about the noise from above our heads!
Fortunately all was quiet at bed time.
Beds were comfortable.

Bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The balcony was beautiful. Coffee was amazing. The man who checked us in was very helpful.
The bed was a Murphy bed. Nowhere in the description was that mentioned. I paid a lot of money for a couch pull-out bed. It was very uncomfortable. No headboard so our pillows kept falling on the floor all night. Our remote had dead batteries. The front desk said she called maintenance a few times but wasn't sure if they were even working. She had batteries but no screwdriver to open remote. Luckily my husband had his Leatherman. The roof was being redone so there was construction stuff everywhere. I get that it's off season so maybe the price should reflect that and put us in a room with a real bed since no one else was there!

With Covid a lot of the amenities are available but staff needs to let the guest know to get to the front desk about 15 min prior to using the pool and hot tub.

slope side location
really inefficient response to Covid. Endless lines for breakfast, for front desk, for everything. Could have been organized so much better . Should have had much more grab and go food, had outdoor dining in igloos, instead of only one long check in (why not just give people vouchers) for breakfast and then having to ask limited staff for every breakfast item, which was slowly packed in individual containers. to go. Took 45 minutes just to pick up breakfast. Huge amount of packaging waste. No grab and go snack options during the day. I
