About this castle / palace rental
The 1,000 year old Ristonchi Castle is surrounded by an ancient forest high in the gorgeous Tuscan mountains.
The private rental of the entire castle includes:
The Castle Tower:
First level: reception, bar, buffet, area, 2 bathrooms, banquet hall for 70 seated at tables, fireplace, stone pizza oven, terrace with stunning view and charming bistro lights.
Second - fifth levels: 10 apartments which sleep up to 35 guests.
Pool Villa:
Sleeps up to 25 guests in 5 apartments with 7 bedrooms, 3 sleeping lofts and 7 bathrooms. Poolside patio perfect for dinners, BBQs, cocktail parties.
Castle Villa:
Sleeps up to 20 guests in 7 apartments with 7 bathrooms.
Private outdoor pool is fully fenced.
Gorgeous chapel onsite available to rent for ceremonies, concerts, etc.
We have a full restaurant kitchen and our own chefs for hire experienced in weddings.

The castle itself is beautiful and the surrounding area may take your breath away. Some apartments (the ones with the incredible views) are up many stairs while some are on the ground floor with no stairs.
The castle was built in the 14th century, over 1,000 years ago! Of course it’s had some updates since then, but it’s not The Hilton. The furniture is authentic and the decor is typical Tuscan. The bathrooms are quirky and small and if you want to enjoy the amazing views in the tower expect some steep stairs.
POOL:
Our beautiful pool is filled with natural spring water from our mountains. Refreshing in the hot summer.
FOREST:
Ristonchi Castle is on top of a mountain surrounded by olive groves and forest land. Take some time to explore nature on 20km of marked paths for walking and cycling.
WIFI:
Yes, there is wifi here in the common areas and most apartments. There are a few apartments where the does not reach reach through the thick stone walls.
Other things to note
Clean towels and linens for the beds are provided. Daily cleanings are not included in the rental but can be arranged.
