Pretty location but quite hard to find.Staff in shop and restaurant for breakfast were helpful particularly when we found out that breakfast was not included which we thought it was so having ordered breakfast we were allowed to cancel it and they didn’t charge us for our tea and coffee.
That they were not expecting us!! and restaurant on site was closed as they’d had a big wedding over the weekend but we were directed to a nearby pub where we got a very overpriced meal and poor service. We hardly slept even wearing ear plugs, as the boiler in the bathroom was not boxed in and could be heard all night long. It had a notice on it to say” Do not turn off” Sadly the curtains let in a lot of light. We felt the plinth that the fire was set on was dangerous as it was too close to the bed and as my husband slept on that side he caught his toes many times.p

Beautiful location.Excellent welcome pack. Great food in Hayloft Restaurant with lovely staff. Very helpful staff in the amazing farm shop. Good breakfast choice in The Furnace cafe too.
The room was quite small. The room was very warm but we could not find any heat adjustment! We had the window open.

Breakfast superb. Quiet location but busy enough and an ideal location for exploring North Wales
10.0
The room was quaint and I liked that it wasn't too big (easy to heat as well). The view from the window was amazing and the little gift of fruits was a very nice touch. The restaurant is 2 min away so you can laze around in the morning not rush to breakfast, while the grill and bar is an excellent choice for dinner (lovely service and atmosphere). The surroundings are amazing - you can walk to the Bodnant Gardens if you have the stamina - about 1 and 1/2 h or go by car and be there in 10 min. The gardens are great to see no matter the time of year. Also, the farm is close to the river so one can have a nice walk along the river as well, once you get down to the town.
I liked everything

Facilities were excellent and clean, room size was great
Bed was too firm. The service struggled which might be testament to the times we are living in. I had problems with my lunch (cold baked camembert), dinner had no condiments, service was very slow and disorganised but food was good. Breakfast was a shambles... cold beans, burnt toast to be replaced with undercooked toast lathered with margarine and undercooked bacon. Its a shame but I appreciate the struggles within the hospitality sector but for the price paid
deserved more.

Stunning location, nice & quiet but still accessible. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant on site which makes for a very relaxing evening.
Breakfast stayed at 9:00, would have preferred ab earlier start - especially on day off departure with a long journey ahead.

Everything was excellent…. Helpful & friendly staff..dog friendly….lovely scenery & view….accommodation was brilliant! Food was exceptional!
Perhaps some local map of surroundings and alternative transport… eg we found the local train by chance… 13 mins to Conwy… good value price….
Walks around the area would be nice as the road was too busy to walk or cycle on…..we did carry our little dog as the traffic was constant and close…. No walkways!

The location. The parking .the shop.
Expensive restaurant, Very expensive shop.

Just so peaceful and with the farmhouse setting, it was idyllic. We have visited the food centre lots of times but never stayed. Would definitely return. Staff were so pleasant and nothing too much trouble.
Nothing to dislike

The location is lovely, really nice views.
We noticed there were hornets coming into our room, when we checked there was a hornets nest right outside of our window. Which meant we couldn't open the windows, this resulted in the room becoming very hot and uncomfortable and we had 2 sleepless nights.
When leaving staff confirmed that they knew about the nest outside of our window, yet didn't tell us upon arrival. Which is safety concern.
The room was unclean, a thick layer of dust on the TV, the coffee pot was dirty and had left over coffee grounds. Which is unacceptable for the price we paid.
When we went to breakfast, the food was very much pre cooked and microwaved, we were served dirty glasses with lipstick marks on the glass. Due to this we didn't go back and decided to eat out.
I emailed management without a response, which was expected. I would avoid this place. There's much nicer accommodation near by that's not overpriced. This really put a dampener on our break and we left feeling more tired and worn out than we arrived.
We stayed 16th-18th Aug

The scenery was nice. The restaurant was good however we were not aware that it was available. we would have planned to he=ave dinner there if we had known.
check in was a little awkward. We had to check in at the shop which closed when we arrived. The facility is fine but we were not aware of the tricky check in process and that you do offer a full menu for dinner.

Location, property.
Wasn't told about a wedding that was booked, this meant the restaurant and bar was not available to us, we would have to take a taxi to a pub nearby.

Beautiful Setting , very good Welsh Breakfast -very welcoming room with biscuits , fruit etc

The accommodation was excellent. The breakfast was really good. Most of the staff were very helpful, friendly and engaging.
Dinner in the restaurant. Specifically, the beef on the sunday roast was really tough. Inedible. Of more concern was the response from staff. No manager around. I was just given more of the same inedible stuff! Sent this back too. Was thereafter treated like a pariah, staff very cold and stand offish. Most unpleasant experience.

Beautiful location - not far from lots of places to visit. Extremely dog friendly - much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. The food at the Hayloft [BBQ] was fabulous & really good value. Indoor bar area & outdoor area also lovely. The farm shop was brilliant - a 'foodies dream.' Staff were very welcoming & extremely helpful throughout our stay. The mini hamper was a welcome bonus.
Our room had a lovely view & was really clean BUT very small. Only in New York, have we stayed in a smaller hotel room. The room would benefit from the addition of a fan. The Hayloft was not open for the first 2 days of our stay.

The room was spacious
There was blood on the pillow sheets which we had to take off. Then when we did, the protective pillow cases was very dirty.
There was a wedding on so had no use of the bar.
Cardboard on the celling covering a old light

Beautiful accommodation.. a lovely little basket with coffee fruit crisps tea and Welsh cakes to enjoy was very much appreciated. Huge room for the 2 of us and the 5 yr old. Stunning property beautifully restored
Room was quite hot but also understandable as weather was very good

Beautiful setting with views over the Conwy estuary. Nice outside space and areas to relax/ walk around. Room and ensuite shower room lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the lady who served us breakfast.
We thought the £25 charge for bringing a dog for 1 night stay was pricey.
5.0
Location to local attractions and a good bed.
Poor kitchenette (cups, etc) cobwebs everywhere, curtains very difficult to use and no blind in door. Bathroom blind allows viewing from outside courtyard used by restaurant next door. No breakfast available until 9 am , room above seems to be an exercise venue.

Bed was very very comfy, lovely bathroom. Staff were lovely, great place to stay
Very small room and quite warm, but did the job

Breakfast was lovely . Location good for getting around the area. All of the staff I met were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was fine and the view from our room was stunning
Nothing and it was perfect for our mini break.

Staff were lovely.
Food was great.
The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The bathroom fan was thick with dust and hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.
The fridge was also dirty. Not cleaned since previous people stayed.
Sponge left for use in kithen was used and not new. They cost pence.
No hand soap in bathroom, had to use shower gel
I was charged £25 for our dog, but was not aware of extra charge after I had paid for the booking and was non refundable. I was informed it was to charge for extra cleaning, which is ironic due to above comments.
No staff to complain to as the staff in farmshop were only there to check you in.
Disappointed as it cost £225 for the room in total.

Excellent position on the Conwy valley. Farmhouse quaint - good views. Breakfast team fabulous and lovely choices.
Rooms need new paint /grout/ revisit. Shabby chic design - which is appreciated - but getting too shabby. Provision of tea coffee etc need to be for duration of the trip / you shouldn’t need to request more of anything. (This is how it was on out last stay).
Wooden posts entering farmhouse need attention.

Location good for access to towns and attractions. Site very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant nice food and atmosphere. Bed was clean and comfy. Tea in room very nice. Welsh brew
The shower was disgusting. Black mould and brown grime in the grout. Filthy. I so wanted a shower that night too. Kettle in room so cheap and nasty. Also horrid brown burn mark on the top. Spils burning water everywhere when you used it. The walls are scuffed and have spill stains. Doesn't take much to rub down walls and cillit bang the black mould. So Grimy

lovely location. everyone was helpful and nice.
overpriced superior that did not work as a room. cardboard taped to ceiling, had to fix the toilet cistern at 0300 as it constantly ran into toilet. missed breakfast as the cafe does not open until 0900

A stunning location, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and location was ideal for sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, going the extract mile if needed.
The food was of the highest quality, both in the Cafe and Restaurant.
Restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which was not mentioned when booking.

Beautiful period property , with idyllic views of the Conwy river , fabulous farm shop and restaurant within the complex , situated close to historic locations. All staff made us feel very welcome and delivered our fabulous meal to our room .at our request .
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, no complaints very comfortable and warm . we purchased food from the farm shop to eat at night , together with lovely wine . the only bonus would be if the bar had been opened on Mondays and Tuesday .
