About this house rental

Pipi Palace is a traditional kiwi bach located 800 metres from both the surf beach and the estuary at the southern end of Whangamata. The nine hole golf course is only two streets away.
There is plenty of room for parking (cars and boat - easy access).
In addition to sleeping five comfortably in the main house (two double plus one single bedrooms), the bunk house has room for another couple with a queen sized bed.
The large front deck offers breakfast with the rising sun (for the early birds) or a place to just relax and soak up the rays, and the spacious deck at the rear allows one to relax after a hard day at the beach and unwind as you watch the sun set over the Coromandel ranges, or cooking up the catch of the day on the BBQ.
Beautiful spring water is on tap courtesy of the on-site bore.
Staying in for the evening? A 42" widescreen TV with DVD Player, plus Freeview reception fits the bill, or choose from a range of board games to play or a substantial library of books to read.

LOVE this wee place. So cute and homely, had everything we needed, even a basketball and hoop! Outdoor shower is a really nice touch and BBQ worked great too! :-D

Perfect family bach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Pipi Palace was ideal for our family of 7. Lovely indoor/outdoor flow with decks front and back. Well equipped bach with comfortable beds and with a great shower both inside and outside. Excellent location in a nice quiet street with easy walk to the beach. Look forward to staying again!

Great traditional kiwi bach, great location in relation to the beach, township and estuary, all an easy walk away. Magical little tree house and trampoline which had my children entertained around the clock. Highly recommend :)

Really enjoyed our stay, suited the whole family, tramp and tree hut fun for the younger kids, outside room and shower was a hit with our young adults. Close enough to the beach for kids to walk. Good evening set up with bbq and great private sheltered area. Very good selection of DVDS for evening chilling out. We loved the place .

Lovely place with great outdoor decking for BBQ and dining. Decking lends itself to both morning and afternoon shade (which we needed as the weather was amazing). Friendly owners made us feel very welcome.

We have stayed at Pipi Palace several times now. It is a genuine 'kiwi bach' with everything we needed but nothing we didn't. It is located close to town but far enough away to be peaceful. We love staying there and would highly recommend it.

The house is very adequate and the section has plenty of parking. The beds are comfortable and therehave been some improvements made on the property to make for an even easier holiday. Another fantastic stay at Pipi Palace! We loved it and we particularly love the outdoor shower and all of the sporting equiptment available and board games! A lovley big new BBQ and heaps of water and new bathroom! Very comfy beds and fresh clean duvets and bedding! So much lawn and handy location to the beach and swimming pool corner dairy! Loved also the use of the bikes! Thank you Roger and Colleen for your great accomodation!

Loved Pipis place! Had my wifes family over from Brazil and wanted to give them the proper kiwi bach experience, and certainly got that at Pipis place..charming and quaint, keep it as is! And all the outdoor equipment available to use is awewsome..Cheers

The true Kiwi Bach ,great games books ect for the children .Plenty of room outside .The bach interior was fine ,though we found the sofas were far too small for people over 6ft .The outside shower was great but the inside shower door did require some attention .Over all it suited us for such a short time .

Nice and clean (considering noones made to pay for a cleaner - awesome!) and there was heaps to keep the kids occupied, bikes, kayaks, petanque, cricket etc. All you need for a simple summer holiday.

Pipi Palace was even better than we had hoped for. The property is maintained to a high standard and was very clean and comfortable in every way. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of crockery, glassware, utensils, salad bowls, etc there was nothing additional we needed over our 7 day stay. The bikes, boogey boards, golf clubs, camping chairs, canoes and surf boards were an amazing bonus and provided much entertainment. I have no hesitation in recommending Pipi Palace.
