Overall a great house and a fantastic garden. Really great for exploring the area. The support of Florence was super. Anything we needed was arranged. One minor part is that the wifi was not working.

Wonderful Manor House with beautiful gardens which the children loved exploring. Everything about our stay was perfect within east reach of the essential tourist spots. There was plenty of room to accommodate 6 adults and 4 grandchildren. Many thanks to Florence who was always available if needed and was very helpful. Would highly recommend this beautiful Manor.

Our stay in Normandy was pefect not in the least because of the house we had rented. Large, spacious rooms, good kitchen with all the utensils you could ask for. A large diningroom and a cosy livingroom. The bedrooms where large and the beds very good. Linnen and towels were provided for. The garden was enormous and the children played in it every day. The house was build in 1792 so it was full of original details with fireplaces, old wooden doors and 'funny'keys.
The reception was very friendly (actually we could not find the house immediatly but a friendly resident offered to take us to the house). The caretaker speaks very good English and is very friendly.
A perfect stay for a holiday in a stunning and historicaly very important country side. You can believe the advertisement, what is promised is delivered. Enjoy yourself.

We were so happy with this property. We had ample space for all our family and friends, and although the property is character and old style, it has modern amenities which are useful including dishwasher and laundry. The kitchen was a pleasure to use for our needs ( we made it kosher for passover ). There is constant availability of heating and hot water. Sometimes the Internet is slow but I think this is just France. The lady who manages the property is friendly, responsive and helpful. The property is only a few kilometers from the autoroute which makes visiting the many sites of the region very easy. I definitely recommend this property.

Amazing house
My friends and I had a lovely time in this beautiful house. We especially loved the garden, because there was a lot of space and a bbq. The rooms and the beds were also very comfortable. We also liked the furniture in the house.

A wonderful family holiday
We rented this beautiful house for 5 days over the jubilee weekend as it was just a 10 minute drive from my mums house. It was absolutely perfect! We had a 4 year old with us and he had the best time playing in the gardens, as did the adults. The property is beautiful and really nicely decorated. The main bedroom is particularly lovely. There is plenty of seating outside and we had a bbq every evening. It was perfect for our Thursday jubilee party. The beds are also really comfy and the sauna and steam room are a great additional. The only thing we noticed was the lack of surface space in the kitchen but we made it work. Lidl is only a 10 minute drive so it was easy to do a shop and pop back if we needed anything. Overall a fantastic stay, great value for money and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful time!

A refaire !

Lovely house, very friendly village
The house is beautifully furnitured and has a big garden. 2 fireplaces inside the house and one bbq in the garden. The caretaker mme Horel, who lives in the village, was very helpful when our car broke down. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Splendide Maison : Splendide Vacances

2 weeks in Normandy
Overall we had an excellent stay. The house and grounds are large and provided ample space for our group of 9 plus 1 dog. The furniture and overall ambience of the property is great, and the patio and gardens enable you to make the most of the scenery and weather. The kitchen is small but has enough to be able to cook for large groups. The village is small but has a boulangerie for the morning breakfast run! The surrounding countryside is beautiful and peaceful, with all of the usual attractions within an hour's drive. Some minor investments (e.g. new mattresses, working bin lid) would make this a 5 star property.

Charming house, beautiful gardens
I stayed for 4 perfect weeks with guests coming and going throughout the time period. Besides being very pretty the house was well equipped and both Jacqueline the manager and the gardener were helpful and prompt.
We were only able to scratch the surface of all the places to discover and things to explore in the area.
I highly recommend this lovely house for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect & quiet holiday
We stayed for a week, with three generations and had a fantastic time. The house is so spacious and like a museum, in a good and modern way. Beautiful inside and out. Our kids loved to play outside. There is so much space. The location is really good if you want to see more of Normandy. Wish we can return some day

Beautiful property
Four generations of our family enjoyed a lovely weeks holiday at Le Manoir d’l’erable. Our party of 10 was comfortably accommodated in this large period property. The house was very well equipped once you found where things were located. The outside space was excellent with seating for everyone plus four sun loungers. Plenty of room in the garden for the grandchildren to explore and run off excess energy. Jacqueline, our contact for the property was very helpful, especially when a fuse blew and we had no hot water but it was quickly sorted. Would definitely return.

Very pleasant stay in beautiful original French manoir
The house has carefully been prepared for tenants since it was taken over from the local authorities. A clever mixture of new facilities while preserving the authentic atmosphere of this ancient house. Large rooms. 2 very nice chimney places. Beautiful outdoor terrace in full privacy. Absolute recommended.

Wein 😉aufen. Sehr netter Inhaber.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Beautiful well provided property
We rented this property for our 25th wedding anniversary and invited family and friends to join us. Sleeps 10 but top room would be suitable for a family of 4 not 2 couples . All rooms were well presented and very functional and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked on most night as the dining room was so invitng, why eat out when we could produce excellent food and eat in the dining room with the amazing fire roaring away in the back ground. Wine from the village shop and food from the local shops, what more did we want.
The lounge was very comfortable and my elderly parents spent a couple of afternoons watching the tv (English) or reading and looking after our 2 dogs while we ventured out to walk and climb Le Mont St Michel.
The bedrooms were very tastefully decorated and beds very comfortable. All linen and towels included in the price. Bathrooms which there are many were very designed and we had lots of hot water.
The garden was well used by our dogs and they had fun romping around. There are many walks for them and I think they would have been happy to stay for ever.
We could. Or have asked for a better property to rent and would recommend it to anyone wanting a Normandy bolt hold.

Very Good
From the start of the reservation we met a very friendly owner. The arrival was well planned and the house was characteristic. Complete and full of space with a beautifulll garden. Le Mesnil Garnier is a small village where there is only a small shop that however is well provided and yopu can buy fresh bread and croissants every morning.

Quel beau souvenir.
