Lovely accommodation and well equipped with fantastic views. Our weather was a little wet but had great fun on the Ffestiniog Railway and great eating places nearby.

A compact and very nice property with spectacular views across the harbour estuary. All well equipped with modern amenities and comfortable. Very convenient for the Ffestiniog Railway with the station and ticket office just nearby. Our short stay in July was marred by unseasonal cool and wet weather, but otherwise we enjoyed our visit.

The property looked really good from photos and description so booked it .Being there however exceeded our expectations as views from living room were simply stunning. Property well equipped ,quiet and within a few minutes walk to Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway and shops. Plenty of coastal /country walks available too. Michelle so helpful with a full list of recommendations for local area including restaurants, places to visit etc .Would highly recommend this place

The location of this property is perfect. I quick walk to the shops or a local pizza and the main high street and shops. Its also on the doorstep of the railway for days out. Its quiet at the property and theres lots to view. The rowing boats and birds feeding. The property is comfy and clean and a good size. Our little dog loves the balcony to sit on. You can sit and dine there. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and theres a local tesco to buy food. The lounge area is specious and the view is stunning. The bedrooms are downstairs and its very quiet at night. No traffic noises or pubs etc. Just perfect. Free Wi-Fi. Shower room. Entrance area to leave walking boots and coats. The Allocated parking space is very convenient. A great place to stay in port. Well worth it.

Neat and complete, lovely atmosphere and very complete inventory. It was a dream in itself to lie in the comfortable bed with the window open and listen to the sounds of the water.

My schoolfriend and I from yesteryear planned a weekend in North Wales as a get-together. We found this lovely place and looked forward to our time away.
We were not disappointed. I have rarely stayed (and I travel a lot!) in such a well-appointed, well thought-out, comfortable 'pad'. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining the property and there really wasn't anything that we needed that we couldn't find.
The location right on the waterfront was absolutely charming (even in the howling winds of Storm Kathleen - April '24). The Festinniog railway is a few minutes walk away and we enjoyed a fabulous train ride up into the hills. We also visited Bangor, Black Rock Sands and Beddgelert by car and walked to Portmeirion.
Loved this little place and were very impressed by the care and communication of the owners.

We loved this place! parking directly outside. Short stroll to the railway & Spooners. Upstairs: Super comfy large sofa, great kitchen with lots of equipment except chopping boards! private little balcony. TV & WiFi reception good. Amazing view. Downstairs: beds very comfy & very quiet. Bathroom excellent. Perfect holiday spot.

The property was superb and the view was absolutely excellent

Near to town, which has many and varied places to eat. Excellent walks on the flat or hills. Get the bus to Criccieth and walk the coast back, about 7.5 miles, followed by an excellent lunch at Tafarn Pencei. Then watch the seabirds from your sofa. Perfect!

The property overlooks the estuary which is stunning. It is close to town and all amenities. A relaxing retreat.

Small yet practical place with a wonderful view that fascinated us for hours. It's all about the location. Michelle was wonderful to deal with.
Only minus for us were the beds and it not being spotless when looking above and below eye-level.

As a former owner of a VRBO property, I value communication as much as I value the property itself. The owners were responsive, attentive and thorough from the very beginning. The property is delightful and the view and location simply can't be beat! I have nothing but praise. Thanks for a magical and easy vacation.

Out of this world views from this wonderful apartment on the harbour. 5 star all roumd thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Situated at the end of the wharf with uninterrupted views of the estuary and harbour to the front and stunning mountain views everywhere else. The property is bijoux, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy walks into the town with a wealth of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Upstairs was amazing! The view was spectacular! Downstairs, the temp in the twin room was locked so couldn’t increase it for 92 year old. Also the main light didn’t work in that bedroom. Apart from that that property was just right for the railway which was Saturdays expedition and near to Portmeirion which was Sundays. Thank you

Perfect location with beautiful view

From the off and throughout, communication with Michelle was very good. With in-depth description of facilities, amenities and places to eat in the surrounding area, suggestions for walks etc. which gave us confidence on the potential of our midweek break. The view from the picture window was a real gem. The property is very well placed to use as a base to explore North Wales.

The property was on a modern complex, compact but very well equipped near to town and with wonderful harbour views. The owner was very helpful with information and we found it an ideal centre for Portmerrion and some lovely beaches. Our little dog loved it too. Porthmadog provided the best ever fish and chips and we had an exceptional meal on my daughters birthday at Yr Hen Fecws restaurant.

Arrived on the Friday, very impressed with the accommodation, comfortable & well equipped, private parking about 20 meters from the property a real plus, good location for walking into town, about a 2 min walk from the steam railway station, Tescos, Aldi,Lidl only a few mins drive, and the amazing little village of Portmerion was a 5 min drive away, a must visit if you stay here, was a really relaxing stay, the host Michelle was very very helpful & kept us informed before we checked in & was available through out our stay if needed (was not though) will be returning here again in the future, 1st time to Noth Wales

This property has an excellent location for exploring coast and hills. Looking out of the window across the quiet harbour and over the water is perfect for unwinding and always has something different to see. A comfy, quiet and cosy property with everything you need and there are plenty of shops nearby. A great getaway.

We have been lucky enough to have had a number of short breaks over the years. This was our 1st visit to the area and we both agree this was one of the best impressions we have ever had when walking into our accommodation. Clean, modern, comfortable, stunning views, all the facilities you need, excellent location for local amenities, Welsh Highland railway 5mins walk and for the Snowdonia national park on your doorstep. Our pre-trip information was excellent and very reliable. Did not want to go home and look forward to our next visit.

The property was perfect comfortable, clean and everything you needed. The views were great and really enjoyed the different bird life, and the daily visits from the Heron. Great location and walks

The first thing that catches your attention when you enter the apartment is the stunning "picture view" of the estuary from the living room.
The flat is clean & tastefully decorated.
A good base for exploring the region & of course the Steam Train is really close.
Michele gave some good advice on where to go etc in her emails & in the booklet in the flat.
A really relaxing midweek break for my wife and myself

Definitely worth staying again!

The property is ideally situated for touring Snowdonia and environs. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The view makes a wet day more enjoyable- egret and heron in abundance.

Great location for visiting North Wales with pretty views. Very nice accommodation but a screen on the bedroom window would have stopped the midges. The kitchen is well equipped and pleasant living room. I overlooked that there wasn’t a washing machine which we needed, as touring the UK.
Owner is excellent at communicating and would definitely stay here again.

The property is in a great location with stunning views. The facilities are good - all that you need on a holiday stay. The parking is superb and the property is within easy walking distance of the town and all the ammenities Porthmadog offers. Close to bars and restaurants - Great holiday - Will book this apartment again on our next stay in the area

Excellent property with an amazing view. It's worth it for the living room alone, with a panoramic view over the harbour that constantly changes with the weather. Communication with the host was excellent, with detailed useful local tips and guides sent to us in advance. Very centrally located in the town with plenty of amenities and food options nearby. Highly recommended!

The sign on the door announces this is the ‘Happy Place’ - and it truly is! Bright and airy, beautifully clean, this apartment has stunning estuary views and lifts the spirits in any weather. The Ffestiniog steam railway is on the door step and an easy stroll round to Borth-y Gest to lunch was great to do. Also recommend the ‘Snowdon Sherpa’ buses (details online) for easy transport around Snowdonia if, like us, you left the car at home. The estuary is a haven for water fowl - we counted over 20 little egrets one evening!

The Room with a View.
Wonderful property right on the dege of the Wharf with the best views of the Wharf and Marina. Supermarkets, shop, bars and Allports Fish and Chips, nice treat. The layout of the apartment is good, bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and livingroom/ kitchen upstair with a patio door onto the glassfronted balcony. Well equipt and easy to keep tidy. The livingroom is taken up with a corner suite with great views all round. Michelle was a great host, nothing was too much trouble for her with speedy responses to any messages. Lovely walks around the area and only 5 minutes to Portmeirion and a one minute walk to Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways. Very enjoyable stay.

It’s a perfectly sized flat for up to 4 people. Very clean and well equipped. Porthmadog is well positioned as a “base camp” to explore in all directions. The flat is in the prime location in Porthmadog with everything within easy walking distance, and a stunning view from the picture window and balcony. Recommended.

In a development built on the original harbour of Portmadaoc overlooking the boats and waterfront so very picturesque. and adjacent to the wonderful small-gauge steam railway. Being a private estate parking is no problem and shops, town centre are just a stone's throw away!
