Just a stones-throw away from all the fun and excitement of the downtown square. The best restaurants, cafe's, coffee shops, clothing boutiques and movie theatre are all just outside your front door! Conveniently, we are just blocks from grocery, parks, live theatre, live music, hiking and biking trails and the Outdoor Art Club (Weddings) Our bright studio is nestled behind adorable shops, 2 apartments and features hardwood floors, a spacious kitchen, built-in laundry, and a sparkling bathtub. Note: We have a Minimum Age Requirement for all guests of 21 years of age.

Lovely roomy studio, well laid out and easy to live in. Gary, the host is wonderful! Full kitchen made it easy to have a meal here and there during our stay. Loved walking to dinner or shop in downtown with ease!

The apartment is in a central downtown location with a shared patio in back for relaxing. The decor was lovely, bed comfortable and stocked with everything you would need while away from home. Communication from owner was great. Highly recommend!

Property was clean and convenient to downtown Mill Valley. Host was very prompt on getting back to me with any questions I had. Although there is no parking on the property itself, we had no issues finding parking nearby either on the street or in the bank next door. It’s just a short drive into San Francisco and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend.

The studio apartment was great for my mother who came to visit for a month out here in Mill Valley. It was clean, comfortable and walking distance to so much in downtown MV. My husband's parents are going to stay here in June! Gary was so kind and communicative with us- highly recommend this listing!

This beautiful little rental had a wonderful back yard for enjoying an evening glass of wine, a useful kitchen and was very clean and comfortable. If you want to explore a place to stay outside of the city in a comfortable and quiet area, this is an excellent spot. Whole foods is nearby and the traffic in the area is not nearly as stressful. A golden gate transit bus stop is located only a block away that will take you all the way to the financial district and back, and if you have taken your car a spot is provided which is awesome. Mill Valley has great neighborhoods and cool shops nearby that you should check out. The owner Gary is incredibly thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We happened to meet him and he was very welcoming and gave us excellent advice about transit and dining around the area.

Gary’s apartment was attractively furnished, comfortable and complete with everything we needed for our stay. It was also well organized with more than adequate information as to how to locate everything in the apartment. We also knew from his correspondence that he would be available if we should need him. We can’t say enough about how pleased we were and how smoothly everything worked.

We loved our month-long stay at Gary's beautiful apartment! Gary welcomed us with a bouquet of roses, a chilled bottle of wine, and everything we needed for a convenient, comfortable stay. The bed was great, bathroom and shower stylish and convenient, well-stocked with shampoo, etc. We loved the view out the French doors to Mount Tam, and walking the neighborhood to share one of the parks with our grandsons was terrific. Gary was friendly and responsive but respected our privacy. We hated to leave, and could not have wished for a better place to spend time in Mill Valley! Highly recommend this wonderful apartment!

We had a great stay. The location was truly perfect. We met the owner who was nice and helpful. The apartment had all the necessities with the exception of silverware. Maybe we overlooked it but we just were sure to always get plastic when we were out. Otherwise it was great and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

This place of Gary's was seriously the best! The description is so true, the location was in the middle of all the great spots that my Son & I wanted to go to. It was so easy to get around and the hospitality was above & beyond my expectations. If you're looking for somewhere to stay while wanting to visit SF, this place is it! Super cute area!

If you want to stay in a private, quiet neighborhood and yet have access within minutes to creature comforts such as grocery stores, restaurants and tourist attractions, look no further. My husband and I stayed here for our 30th anniversary in order to be close to Muir Woods and within a short drive to San Francisco. This was the best decision we made! Gary was a great host providing us with local information regarding transportation and restaurants. We visited Sol Food, a Puerto Rican restaurant our first night in Mill Valley. My (Lydias) father is from Puerto Rico, so it was a delight to taste delicious Puerto Rican dishes in Mill Valley! How I wish we had Sol Food in our area, now! The private suite is located at the back of the house, is very comfortable and decorated with modern touches and amenities. It was wonderful to sleep with the fresh mountain breeze flowing through the open windows above the bed. Coming from the Houston, TX area, this was a delight. We stocked the convenient refrigerator with snacks and beverages during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and Gary was always a door knock away. The suite doors open up to a seating area where a mountain and trees peek through from the distance. I had my morning tea here. We had a relaxing time and cannot wait to return to Mill Valley, our new home-away-from-home!

We are just finishing our last morning at Gary’s studio. It has been exceedingly comfortable and pleasant. Perfectly located in Marin for day trips, very private and quiet. We enjoyed the view and back yard. Thanks again!
