The pods were great, good size beds with clean beddings. We stayed there during the week, it was quiet and peaceful. Lovely people around too
The shared bathroom were decent but would help some extra bleach and maintenance.
4.5

Friendly people
Expensive clubhouse
No fridge in pods

Great location.
Sadly the site have built many more pods than they used to have but have not increased the shower/toilet facilities, there are not enough for the amount of accommodation. The facilities were dirty and unlocked which is a shame after coming for many years and finding they extremely clean.
4.0
The pods are really cozy and comfortable with basic furnishing. The site is directly on a seaside and plenty of space for children to run around on site and a good playground. Heated pool but no facilities to change by the pool.
I was really surprised as other reviews say everything was clean. Well, it wasn't. Shower block was filthy and constantly smelly with sewage.
The pod on the first look was clean but it hasn't been sweeped under the beds since, what it looked like, start of the season, there were dog poo bags and tea bags left by the porch of our pod.

very good indeed
all good

Very good location. The camping pods were good and clean.
The loos and showers were quite dirty. The ladies loos and showers were not cleaned during our stay and were filthy .
The site had quite a lot of litter strewn around it.

Perfect location, everyone seemed friendly. My son was too young to enjoy the entertainment side of things so we didn’t spend much time in the clubhouse this time, but if he was older think he would have loved it as there seemed to be lots going on. Although it was busy at night it was still very quiet by the pods which was great!
We didn’t realise you had to book to use the swimming pool so on the first full day we only got to go in for 15 minutes then on the second day we went to book at 9am at reception and it was already fully booked for the whole day so we came back to try our luck later on in the day and the pool had shut earlier then advertised.
Both ladies and men’s toilets and showers were very dirty (we’re experienced tent campers so by no means expected unreasonable standards for that sort of site but it was definitely not clean) I went in the ladies toilet one of the mornings to find all the loos with no toilet roll.

Electric points and location
The sheets on the beds need to be fitted. The style of mattress is waterproof meaning the sheets move and come of the bed easily. Additional pillows woild be useful too. Pod needs to come with a dustpan and brush to allow the user to sweep floor. A kettle without crazy hire prices would also be beneficial, albeit we took a camping stove.

When we arrived at the pod, the floor was full of sand , which we had to clean!
Beds where full of sand and the pod was not clean properly.
POD NOT CLEANED

This is a lovely place to stay. Very family friendly, greta for kids and felt very safe.
There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like, the showers could have been a bit cleaner, but overall I was pleased with it all.
3.5
The property was clean and in a great location close to the beach and all amenities.
The communal showers were dirty and mouldy.

We had a great time thank you, the pods are lovely and the location is perfect. Kids loved it. Comfortable beds.
Only thing would be more spaces for the pool but we’d know to book in early next time.
3.5
Can’t fault the location, fantastic proximity to lots of sea side towns. Also direct access to a beach metres from the pod.
Nice to have a pool on site (although this must be booked - which is fine if they told you that on checking in).
Our particular pod was too close to the club house, it was very noisy at night. It was particularly hot during our stay but with the windows/door opened for air it meant we felt like we were sleeping in a pub garden…
The toilet/shower facilities need to be maintained more throughout the day - toilet roll generally never available.
Investment in better blinds in the pods would benefit it massively - a heat reflective black out blind is a must have especially in the summer rather than the cheap, see through ones now.

It wast awesome place. We are very happy about that POD.
1.5
Our pod was lovely and clean and comfy
The rest of the place was awful , dirty , broken toilets , no toilet roll , disgusting !! Supposed to be for kids but there was no blue milk anywhere no cereal for kids, the bar just said they tried and it is out of stock , even though you are right next to supermarkets , also no kids food for sale like yoghurts snacks etc . Chef was not impressed because we asked if they were serving chips with our breakfast he huffed so we said don’t worry and then I think he realised how rude he had been so said he would do it . The menus are sticky and dirty , the list goes on . We didn’t see one cleaner throughout our stay. The reception were lovely , didn’t really give you any information had to keep asking the questions to get what we needed but they were polite and seemed happy to answer them . The lady doing the lifeguarding was really lovely and the best welcome we got out of any of the stay.

Pod was lovely, out look to beach beautiful
Toilet ,shower facilities smelly and grubby ,

Good location for the beach
Podium only has roller blinds on the 2 windows or fixed curtains on the doors. This means for daylight you have to open the doors and the roller blinds. which means that you have no privacy, passers by can see into your podium. Of course, when the weather is chilly, you wouldn't want your doors open.

It was great. We all loved it, great location, friendly staff. Would recommend
Apart from the shower room being smelly it was great.
3.5
comfy beds and nice amount of space and clean hot showers
we were not made aware that as it wasn’t school holidays the restaurant wasn’t open till 3pm everyday and no cooking facility’s in or around the pod also minimal entertainment so had to leave site to find food etc each day

The staff were all very friendly and the accommodation was exactly as advertised.
We was told before arriving that is is ok to book swimming when we arrived to site. When we arrived the children were excited to go swimming to then find out there was no space! The children were very disappointed. We were also told the pool was heated and that we had 1 hour allocation in the pool. The pool was in fact freezing and we were told the session was over at 45minutes.
The kids entertainment was not as advertised. We were in the area at the times and no staff were present.
The arcade was smelly and dirty! Some of the games were broken and a con! The grabber machines open up too soon. This left the children very upset.
The toilets were grubby and toilet paper was sparse, we went in the evening and morning and no toilet tissue so we took our own!
My childs burger bun had mould on it!! Final straw after witnessing some foul language from other families to their children. It appeared that all staff were scared to approach them and say something!

Simple stay, close to toilets and restaurant.
Floor wasn’t clean properly and no indoor mat.

I like the location and the accessibility of the site
unfortunately the weather doesn’t help, but there’s not paths form the pods to the facilities. There’s no information regarding checking out. The toilets often had no toilet roll or they smelt unclean, like dirty drains or the floors needed mopping.
3.5
Pods were nice, proximity of the bus stop
could be cleaner especially in the toilet and showers.

We loved the camping pods they were beautiful and just as pictured. They are so close to the sea and as a family we loved them. The outdoor pool is great and is like getting into a bath, the kids had the best time in the pool. My 8 year old adored the kids entertainment, bingo was good fun and the children enjoyed the arcade. The location in proximity to the sea was perfect for us and also so close the town of Whitstable and Herne Bay by car. We would stay here again.
There was a lot of litter flying around on the site, too much noise in the evenings with little ones trying to sleep. There is a post midnight policy which is great but the pods are fairly near the entertainment complex which in some respects is great but we did find you get a lot of teenagers in groups running around outside shouting and swearing between 10pm and midnight and the language was the main issue as we have young children. It would be great if the park at peak times perhaps had security around to monitor this.
Also there was one occasion going into the swimming pool where the lifeguard stated we had another 2.5 minutes to wait and showed us and all the children in the line his rolled up cigarette and then said well I have time to go and smoke this and get back again. Whilst it's fine to go and have your break and I don't think anyone would dispute that, the children especially didn't need to see the roll up and be told that's what he was doing it just didn't come across very professional. However the same life guard is clearly very good at his job as he communicated with kids in the pool giving them tips on their swimming which was lovely to see.
2.5
pod was lovely and clean and modern.
other park facilities were awful, dirty showers,
toilets and sinks were dirty. groups of anti social
children riding bikes and electric scooters when

regard for others.
