About this apartment rental
The ocean is right outside your window and beneath your breezy balcony when you stay at Sand Dollar II 207, our second-floor beachfront condo on Crescent Beach. With the Intracoastal behind you and the Atlantic in front, you get amazing sunrises and sunsets!
Nestled on a strip of coastline between ocean and waterway, Sand Dollar II 207 is just right for your next northeast Florida vacation. St. Augustine is just minutes away by car, and Daytona is right down the road as well. The Intracoastal is a wildlife paradise, with walking trails and the perfect setting for canoeing, kayaking, and boating. And then there's Crescent Beach, the finest in the St. Augustine area, with uncrowded sugary-white sands, great shelling, and an abundance of dolphins, pelicans, and other exciting sights!
And the best place to view all this beauty is the balcony at Sand Dollar II 207! You can reach it from the living room and from the master bedroom (which means you can slip out at night for a quick look at the moonlight on the water and the sound of the surf!), and we've placed some casual furnishings and a small table out there. The balcony is covered, but sunlight slants in at various times of day, so you can soak up rays or enjoy cool shade -- your choice!
When it's time for indoor activity, step into the light, nicely appointed living and dining area of Sand Dollar II 207. Soft carpeting and cushioned rattan furnishings, including a large flat-screen with cable and DVD player, await you here. The dining table is just adjacent to the living area, too, so you can set up games and puzzles here to keep the group entertained. And the view comes with you through bright windows and sliding glass doors!
Although you'll probably be dining out a good bit during your St. Augustine stay (the fresh seafood is just amazing here!), when it's time to eat in, you'll appreciate how well-stocked our kitchen is. The cupboards are bursting with cookware, dishes, utensils, glasses -- the

We traveled with 2 adults and 3 teens and everyone enjoyed their stay. The beach was not busy which is fabulous nothing worse than a crowded beach. Check in and out was easy. The master bed was a bit hard for me because I have chronic pain but I found a mattress pad and extra pillows to make it softer.
It’s a little further drive to st Augustine beach restaurants than I thought but there were a few good restaurants within 2-3 miles. If we come back to this area I would definitely rent this unit again

Well appointed with furniture, kitchen needs and close to beach. not the biggest bathrooms but sufficient

It is right on the beach. You are able to sit on balcony with the view and sound of ocean coming to you. Wonderful!

Location could not be better. Condo was clean and beds were comfortable!

The view of the ocean from the living room and bedroom was unbelievable. The kitchen was clean, well organized and modern. It was a short convenient walk to the beach and a surprisingly nice pool. Good food and downtown were close enough to easily drive but far enough away that we had the beach to ourselves the majority of the stay. The only negative item of the stay had nothing to do with our unit—they were doing construction on the unit next door to us—and while the workers were polite and worked only during business hours, there is no quiet way to cut tile. Overall a wonderful, clean, convenient place to stay.

Quiet- convenient

Well equipped place. Bring your own kitchen knives to cut anything other than butter. Otherwise fabulous stay.

The view from the condo is fantastic. Easy walk to beach and pool, with plenty of restaurants and shopping with a short driving distance. Will plan to return.

The only problem we had was with the boardwalk to the beach. The hurricane had washed the step away and we had to walk about 400yds down the beach to the only functioning steps. We were just happy we had those.

Hated to leave, it was an awesome trip!! This is one place I would definitely recommend to come stay! Everything we needed was there and them some!

I rely on reviews heavily when booking, so I always try to write honest and thorough reviews after my stay. This property was plenty big for my family of 3 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant. The beach area is not crowded at all, which was a huge perk. We had never been to St. Augustine, so we weren’t sure what to expect. You aren’t close to anything here…it’s a 10-20 minute drive to any store or restaurant but that’s both a pro and a con in my book. That’s likely why the beach is less crowded here, but it’s a pain when you need to go grab something.
The bedrooms are big in this condo. The primary bedroom has a large walk-in closet, but we were unable to use it because it smelled like poop so badly the entire time. I did put in a request to have it looked at and it was answered, but if we kept the door shut, we didn’t smell the poop. I just wonder how it made it past the housekeepers, because it was strong! I really think there was actual poop in there, because the smell would have gone away if not.
The kitchen is also big and even has small appliances like an air fryer, which is great. The dishwasher, however, would not clean the dishes. We had to thoroughly wash everything by hand. This is likely an easy fix by the property owner.
The best part of the condo, in my opinion, was the huge utility room with washer and dryer, and a ton of beach toys. We left 3 beach chairs to add to the mix, but my toddler was so happy to play with the beach buckets and trucks! There was an umbrella too, which saved us from having to buy one. We loved that!
Overall, a great condo at a good spot on the beach. The pool is nice, too. The elevators were never too busy like some of the more popular beaches in Florida (where we have waited for up to 45 minutes for an elevator!) and the condo community even has luggage carts and grocery carts that makes getting in and out so easy.
We would stay here again, but I do think this specific unit could use some upgrades/cleaning.

Nice property, Great beach. Could use a deep clean. Proximity to resturants and attractions was good.

This property was very clean and the location was perfect. It is right on the beach and the pool is next door. We could not have asked for a better location. The balcony overlooking the beach was wonderful to watch the sunrise each morning. And there were no crowds on the beach or at the pool. This condo is also conveniently located to St. Augustine as well. We hope to be back very soon.

Great ocean view!
Sand Dollar 207 is clean, well appointed and has beautiful Atlantic views from the living room and the master bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. The unit has lots of storage space. The only downside was the trash dumpsters were a ways away.

Great
Great location for a quiet beach trip. The pool filter was not working for a few of the days but overall a great room and location.

5/23/20 stay
Overall a great place to stay. Very clean. Great pool. Other guests very nice. Had a terrible experience with Management company. With Covid making things difficult I tried to be more understanding but when A/C went out with three days left and it rained a lot so spend a lot of time indoors it was more than annoying when property manager never called back even when calling the “emergency” number.

The three bedrooms provide plenty of space. Nice size kitchen and family room. Love that you can hear the ocean from the master bedroom and balcony. We wish that a "starter" coffee had been provided. Had to go out at 9:30 pm to get coffee and that did not make us happy. At least tell renters to bring their own starter coffee. We could not figure out how to use the multiple remotes for the tv. Had to call for help. That is ridiculous. Should not be that difficult. Provide instructions, please! Jorge was such a big help with showing us how to use the remotes. Nice to have a washer & dryer. Suggest you provide for safety reasons a non-slip mat to put in the shower/tub. I slipped 2x and almost fell. Nothing to hold onto. Wish we could leave the keys in the condo and lock the door on our way out. Inconvenient to go to the rental office early in the morning.

Great property/location. Only issue was the TV / .lights didn't work in the guest bedroom with the queen bed.

Beautiful beach location - some technical issues
Beautiful location right on Crescent Beach. Well kept up with everything in working order except the pool. A call to the manager to ask about how to get the advertised pool access was not returned. Overall we enjoyed the property and area.

Condo was as advertised. Very clean, decorated beautifully and supplied with everything needed.
Very positive.

Wonderful week
We had a wonderful week! The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of dishes, flatware, cookware, and cooking utensils. The view was spectacular. We were there with our son, his wife, and their three children ages 5,3, and 1. We had a wonderful time together making some sweet family memories.

Very disappoined !!! March 17 thru 30 2019
Vtrips manages this property and do it poorly. Upon entering I called their office and complained about the filthy bedroom and living room carpet. The shower curtain and tile has mold.
The office person Susan took my complaint. Two days later I called the office again demanding these issues be corrected. The office sent a person and they washed the liner but did not remove the shower tile mold. After three days and two calls they sent some one to clean the master bedroom carpet. The living room carpet was not touched. It was a room size rug so I rolled up the filthy carpet. The baseboards have not been dusted in ten years. The fourth time I called Vtrips and asked Paula to call the owner and tell him I was dissatisfied and I wanted his response, again no return call. Vtrips is very good at placating the customer and terrible at management. In addition they will charge you a substantial booking fee in addition to VRO's booking fee. You will not see it until you look at your credit card statement.

Just what we wanted and needed!
Location: “Easy Access” Second floor just down from stairway and one stair flight up from pool and parking deck.
View: “Couldn’t be better“ The den area has ceiling to floor windows, and the low floor makes you feel like you’re right on the beach.
The Condo itself: “Felt like Home” One of the most well stocked condo’s I’ve EVER stayed in. Also there is a HUGE pantry in the in laundry room for you to put all of your food and supplies for the week... It kept the kitchen from that ‘grocery store just exploded’ feeling you get when you stay somewhere for a week. Furniture is nice and doesn’t have that ‘worn down’ feeling you get in a lot of condos. Also, even though we didn’t use them much, HUGE TV’s in den and two of the three rooms.
Rooms: “Worked Perfect” 2 King beds and 2 singles
Nitpicking: “Just so you know” Master tub drains out, no matter which way you have the drain set, so it was hard to bath kiddoes without keeping the water running. Also, we had a small leak in kitchen sink, that they fixed quickly.
Would I Stay Again? “Absolutely!”

Lovely condo with great views and amenities!! A bit far, 35 minutes from St Augustine, but great!!
Helpful staff, everything I needed was there, tho you need extra tissues, garbage bags and paper towels to get us through a week. Views were outstanding: saw dolphins, beautiful sunrises, very peaceful and quiet. Great place to get away from it all!!

Perfectly relaxing stay
Large quiet condo with everything you need to feel like you’re “home.” Great beach for walking and collecting. Four sand dollars and many other beautiful treasures found us!
4.5
mediocre for the price
The "add on" charges were roughly 30% of the total weekly rental cost. If these were eliminated, the rental would have been more fairly priced for what it was. The advertising pictures show the unit in its best light. The unit is near the elevator, so there's that noise to contend with. I would look for something with a better value next time.

Beautiful Stay in Paradise
As Grandparents wanting to spend some quality time with our children and grand children we had a wonderful time together. We had made arrangements for just one of our sons and daughter-in-law to stay with us and recommended another rent a condo in the same place. We had 13 total people staying at the Sand Dollar II. The beach was fantastic, weather was perfect all two weeks. I was able to fish each morning on the beach before people came down to enjoy the Sun and Fun. We are seriously thinking about coming down again in the future and staying in the same location. The only negative we have to say is the age of the windows that were installed in this facility does not allow them to be cleaned easily or at all in some cases which obstructs the clear view of the ocean from salt spray, etc. The owners need to correct that at sometime to make it top of the line.

Sand Dollar II, 207
Thanks for asking about our rental experience. Both my wife and I loved the condo unit at Sand Dollar. The unit description was accurate and could not have had closer access to the beach. This unit was very nicely furnished and supplied us with several beach chairs. The only negative that we would provide was the lack of a large pot (2,3 quart)for cooking and only 3 wine glasses. I definitely would recommend this property to friends and family. In regard to VacationRentalPros; the system is simple and makes planning, booking, check-in and check-out seemless. We will try to book this condo again and use your great service.

Great Vacation
We had a great vacation! Can't wait to come back! Everything was perfect!

Best vacation ever
Enjoyed immensely. Clean. Clean, comfortable. I would suggest two things: paint linen closet door, and store vacuum in laundry room not MBR closet. (Odor). Had a couple of maintenance issues (smoke alarms, light bulbs). Handled promptly. I did not like being asked to give credit card for "open charge in case of damage." Glad that was not required--would have been deal-breaker. Reservations people very helpful. In all, a very positive experience! Need a few more bath linens stocked (washcloths.)

Great Location
It's a great location, we love the sound of the ocean. Nice place, but the bathrooms were a little stuffy. They need some updating and better ventilation.

THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE PROPERTY WAS LOCATED CLOSE ENOUGH TO DOWNTOWN AND GOLF. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY.

Would have preferred the first floor -- glad to have the second floor under the circumstances. Loved the property and management - just great!

Sand Dollar II 207
Rented this unit for a week in July and enjoyed our stay there. It was tastefully furnished and had everything we needed for the week. Although we enjoyed our stay, I do have a few suggestions for improvements: (1) add another comfortable chair in living room. (2) more comfortable chairs on balcony would be a nice addition as well. Folks at Vacation Rental Pros were great to work with and I would highly recommend them.
