House is really lovely and comfortable, we (7 adults) had a wonderful stay. The view of the river is beautiful and the most intrepid in our group went down to the river's edge and said it was even more gorgeous down there.

We had a great stay at this house. There was plenty of amenities and it was well stocked. The location was perfect, but the road down to the water is very steep. We were able to bring our ATV and easily navigate up and down. We would definitely stay again.

Main floor was extremely HOT (before attempting to cook, before opening the door, regardless of the temp outside) and we weren't even going in and out. (It appears several "a/c vents" have been covered up on main flooring. When asking owner for suggestions regarding a/c and optimum air flow due to door leading downstairs, as well as upper loft with vaulted ceiling. We were also wanting to not "overwork" the system if that was the best it could be. We accidentally left a personally valuable item and owner has only responded once as to say they would check with cleaning staff. It was nice staying on the river, but the steep incline makes the advantage worthless. The info in the add stated local places to rent an adequate vehicle for the incline, but they no longer do this. Owner was NOT helpful in helping us find anything else other than just don't stop there. Dissappointed. Main floor stayed above 82 degrees the entire time (night and day). No tv on main floor, splits the group. Perhaps good for families with kids. Beds have plastic sheeting. Disgusting. Mattresses are old and worn.

This is the second time we have rented and the house is roomy and kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. The house is clean enough but there was definitely a spider problem this time. The lower deck needs some major cleaning but the upper deck is good. Needs a good bug man and probably some TLC on the outside. The neighbors are awesome and the beds are clean and comfortable!

It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town.

We took my son and his friends on a float trip. The house was absolutely perfect for our weekend. It was close to The Landing. We made dinner and hung out on the deck in the evening. We loved watching the floaters and boaters. The path to the river was super steep and would not work for everyone. It was a great house and we had a wonderful and memorable weekend!

This was a perfect house for our big family. Very nice and cozy. The hill to the beach is steep but luckily we had our side by side to get us up and down the hill.

We came for the river and we’re glad to have a place with river access. The place was clean and big enough for our group. Appliances worked well and owner is fast to respond to questions. Easy check in and out.

The house was perfect for our family. Very comfortable. House had all the cooking and bedding supplies needed. Tan short on paper towels and toilet paper but the response to get more was quick. The community had the water shut down a couple times but it wasn’t for long. Overall it was a wonderful trip. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect size for our party of 9 and perfect location for our Current River float. Jocelyn was great communicating with us and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thank you for a week of amazing memories!

The entire family immensely enjoyed our stay here. The Cabin was spacious, and clean, and the large decks were spacious enough for all 10 of us to eat outside. Our own private beach area on the river was wonderful. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

Everything was near perfect except getting down to the water. 75-100 yards down very steep, uneven ground. A bit risky (in my opinion) for older adults and small children.

This property was perfect for our group! We had 4 families with kids ranging from 8mo to 10yr. The house fit us great and the amenities were above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely be staying again. The only downside of the property was the steep hill for the smaller kids.

Wonderful stay at the Hilltop Hideway. This was our second time renting this home. The view is fantastic, the home is marvelous with plenty of room for 10 people. We enjoyed the gravel beach at the bottom of the hill on Saturday playing in the water and having a picnic. We will be coming back.

Love current
I’ve been coming to current River 45+ years, never been to south of confluence which is fabulous!! House is amazing! Beautiful beach to hang out. Only downside is the hike down the steep hill or drive. Unfortunately the neighbors paved driveway is gated and the driveway provided is dangerous, so we walked carrying all our stuff. Otherwise would stay again and again

Great time on the Current River
We love this cabin. Cute and clean. Big enough for the whole family. Beautiful view of the river. Close to town and some good places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking. We will be back 😄

Great property!
Super clean and everything you need for a great getaway on the river. The hill down to the river was very steep so having our UTV was super handy. We had a great time!

Very nice location on the river
Great location very close to Van Buren right on the river. There is quite a hill from the house to the river. The house is located in a private association which allows you to use the deer run access to the river. We use that two of our days and it was very nice spot on the river

Getaway with friends
We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a remote getaway with beautiful views of the river.

Great River Spot
Our time at this property was great. Amazing views. Easy access to the local town for supplies, float trips or hiking. Secluded and private at the house with access to a beach and the river below the house. Our group had a great time.

Our stay
It was a beautiful cabin. We would highly recommend staying here!!

Well equipped cabin
We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and the one thing they are always missing is a pizza cutter and pizza pan. This one has both and we knew we had found a great place. But, if that doesn't excite you like it does our family, the cabin and scenery is beautiful. There were 7 of us who stayed for our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration and there was plenty of room for everyone. You will want to be the first one to arrive so that you can claim the master bedroom/bathroom because it is HUGE. This is a great property and we would definitely stay again.

Great location, beautiful home on the river!
We had a wonderful time in the beautiful river-front home. We had plenty of space for our party of 10 and enjoyed the gravel bar. The path to the gravel bar is walkable but a tough walk.
My only complaint was there was zero hot water in the master bathroom shower. All other areas of the house had hot water, so we made due for the Holiday weekend. I messaged the host but never heard a response. Before you reserve -- I would confirm that the hot water issue has been resolved!
Other than that, I'd highly reccomend!

Beautiful Cabin and Amenities
We chose this property for the destination of our friend group's 7th annual float trip that we used as a Bachelor Party for one of our closest friends, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean, well kept, and perfectly fit all of us. Owner's of the neighboring cabins were kind as well. Would highly recommend for any sort of getaway, family or friends. Thank you so much!

Nice cabin
The place was amazing. Pictures don't do it enough justice. I would suggest hanging a sheet or something if you sleep in the loft area & are not a early riser.

Annual Family Vacation
Beautiful Ozark view on Current River in Van Buren MO in this beautiful home. My family and I loved this home and will rent it again. The location was amazing. You had a great private sand bar to play with your family where we spent all day Saturday where we watched others float and raft by. We had our own little picnic down there and able to float down ourselves and come up the bank just a short distance. My grandsons that are 5 y/o and 3 y/o loved the property. This was their first time rafting on the river and enjoying Current River. We’ve been going to Current River for over 25 years and we love it. The home has plenty of room for 10 people, we only had 7 which 2 were children and they had plenty of room to play inside and out on the beautiful wrap around porches.

Beautiful!
A very nice, well appointed cabin with a fantastic location right on the Current River. If you float from Van Buren, you will go right by the back porch. We had a great stay.

Book It!
I usually float the upper stretch but I was taking a large group and lodging is tough to come by up in those parts so we booked this. We were not disappointed. The road down to the water is treacherous but we got a 4x4 down there no problem and dropped a fishing kayak in the water and were able to take it upstream a ways. Fishing around this stretch was pretty good. The cabin accommodations were great. Plenty of pots and pans and plenty of grills. We had plenty of space for 8 adults and we didn't even utilize the downstairs area outside of sleeping. There is a grocery store nearby that had everything we needed and the outfitter that took us up river is right by the bridge so it was convenient. Great stretch of river. We did lose water for a portion of a day but that was completely outside of the landlord's control and she was great about communicating with me. I've suggested this property to friends and it would also be a great property for a family to rent. My only suggestion would be to move the fire pit because it is close to the hill and it wasn't possible to fully surround it at night.

A beautiful home that makes you want to stay! Awesome location. Lots to do at all the parks, hiking trails, and the Landing river float is a must!

Family vacation!
Very nice view and location! Cabin was everything we needed. Hike to the river was a bit treacherous, we had a couple of people that couldn’t make the journey. Kids loved the S’mores over the fire pit. Overall we had a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation.
Thank you!

Family Vacation
Beautiful house and great location. The house was very clean and plenty big enough for 9 adults. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the owners were responsive if we had a question. My only complaint is the access to the river. The pathway to get down to the river is next to impossible to walk down. It’s very dangerous and I would definitely not recommend it for small children or older adults. Also, the river current is very strong so swimming really isn’t possible.

Great Vacation!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everything we needed was provided, check in and out was a breeze, the cabin was spacious and homey feeling with enough room to spread out and have our own space and when we wanted it but also plenty of room for our 9 person game night in the downstairs living room, and the river access on the property was a gem! People of all ages in our group had the time of our lives!

Comfortable get away!
Great property, owner was great to work with. House was great. Its not far at all to the river but a little steep, well worth it. The Current River ended up being closed the day we intended to float due to high water, but we drove and floated Jacks Fork no problem. Hiked the Big Springs 1.8 mile loop, it was beautiful. Will book again if it works out.

Excellent Accommodations!!!
This cabin was a perfect fit for my group of friends and I. The path to the river was awful but we survived it somehow. There was an issue with the oven heating up properly and trash overflow but other than that it was a great stay. We will be back!

July 2020 Float Trip Get Away
Very nice property with plenty of room, comfortable sleeping, nice open kitchen and great room to visit. The deck sits high in the trees with a very cool view that overlooks the current river. Coffee in the AM was very nice as well as great place to chill in the evening. Everything is very close proximity to go floating, Big Springs Park, grab supplies etc. We had a great time.

Fun at the river cabin
This is a beautiful cabin! Our grandkids felt like the cabin itself was a great part of our family getaway! Kitchen was great for us to cook in as we didn't want to go out anywhere. Beds were comfortable. River so clear and peaceful. A hike down and back up to the river, but so worth it!
