We rented the Cottage for my parents for a week to escape the heat of AZ and be closer to us. They loved the place! Said it was just perfect for them. Debbie was fantastic to coordinate with on their arrival, rolling with the changes induced by the chaos that was going on with their departure from AZ that changed their arrival date 3 times in the last week.

Our experience was just fine the only negative was the tv that kept not connecting to the internet so you couldn’t change any channels and had to unplug and reboot it.

The cottage is perfect. We were so comfortable and had everything we could need for our two week stay - nothing was lacking. It was quiet and peaceful. There were two beautiful parks within walking distance and we even enjoyed a little league baseball game one evening. Very convenient/short drive to downtown and restraints/food carts. Our hosts were welcoming and wonderful - quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Enjoyed every minute of our stay due to their attention to detail and hospitality! Thanks so much!

The cottage was beautiful, clean and perfect for our 2 week stay. Had everything we needed including lots of food, spices in pantry and condiments in the refrigerator. Has large new stove with flattop surface not shown in pictures. Hopefully it will be available next time we visit. Owners rapidly responded to any questions we had. We stayed here while we were searching for a permanent place to live in Oregon City, and we loved it. The owners were responsive, friendly, and helpful, and even the neighbors were welcoming. Highly recommended.

The overall stay was great. A few notes: it's difficult to receive mail here, so if you need to, make sure you coordinate with the host, as the cottage itself has no mailbox. You can receive packages shipped with Fedex/UPS, but the USPS has trouble finding the cottage because it shares the property with a much bigger house that's situated by the main road. The hosts were very responsive, and when we had issues in the apartment, were quick to solution with us. The amenities were all we could ask for: coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, dishwasher, crock pot, cooking and baking stuffs, spices, dishwashing supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. The bathroom was fully stocked as well, with plenty of toilet paper, toiletries, even qtips. The host provided linens and towels, which was unusual from our other VRBO stays, but very appreciated! Our kitties were welcome, and enjoyed the space as well. The fireplace was amazing for cold mornings, and the kitties roasted like little hams in front of it. If you have more than one vehicle, you will need to coordinate with the host to park it in the breakdown lane on the street. There is only room for 1 car inside the parking area on the property.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for us and the area was great. Highly recommend it!

I had the pleasure of staying in Debbie's cottage for several nights while in the Portland area for work. The property is just as listed, cozy and clean, and with beautiful grounds. It was quiet and well appointed. Traveling alone, I wanted something small and homey but also somewhere I felt safe. I will definitely plan to stay here again and also recommend to my co-workers that may travel to the area.

My dad’s favorite place when he visits. If it’s not open, he won’t come. Great amenities and hosts, all close and convenient to everything you need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cottage. It's was all we needed to live comfortably and Debbie and Craig couldn't be more gracious. We left extra cookies for Lucy who will visit regularly looking for her daily 'fix'.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful cottage in Oregon City. We stayed for close to a month each time and had absolutely no problems or complaints. The location is very convenient for any and all activities in the Portland area. The owners were easy to reach and very responsive to all of our inquiries. We could not have asked for anything better!

This little cottage is perfect, has all of the basics and comforts of home. Great location, we stayed in most of the time because our dog was not feeling well, but we were comfortable the whole time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our main impressions were how serene, warm ( a beautiful fireplace greeted us when we entered) and comfortable the house was. There was attention to details in all the things a guest would need. We loved the garden. The plethora of feeders everywhere brought in a wonderful combination of birds for us to watch. We had our very elderly dog with us and he adapted at once to the house and walks around the neighborhood. The hosts Debbie and Craig were helpful and friendly and at the same time gave us total privacy. Our reservation process was totally smooth. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. J and J Allen

The cottage is a wonderful home away from home. Quiet. Very nice amenities, beautiful kitchen plus laundry, walk-in shower, and bedroom with lots of cupboards and drawers. Nice garden view from living room and deck. Even had a bird feeder. Close to shopping. Owners were quite helpful. Would highly recommend to others.

This cottage was a perfect place for us to stay for the week. Very clean with a comfortable bed in a quiet neighborhood. Oregon City is a nice town close to Portland and lots of activities. Debbie was great to work with and we will definitely stay there on our next trip to Oregon City.

Very clean, comfortable cottage in good location with access to grocery stores and freeways. There was some road noise from a busy street, but when the windows were closed it was fine. Owners were there if needed but left you alone to just enjoy your stay. A good place to go if you have a dog and I was very happy to be able to bring my dog on this trip. There was a nice park with an unleashed dog area close by and my dog had fun playing and running with other dogs. He also enjoyed getting a lot of attention and petting from the other dog owners! Recommend staying here.

Accommodations were prefect. The cottage was very comfortable, quite and beautiful.

We stayed here for three nights with our two Labradoodles. The cottage was clean and comfy. There were flowers, chocolates and dog treats to welcome us. Everything worked perfectly for our stay. The owners obviously take pride in their property. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone.

This cottage is very nice, and I enjoyed my stay so much. It was very clean, well-appointed, and felt like home away from home...in a wonderfully quaint way. In fact, I think it will be my home away from home every time I visit the Portland area.

My wife and I recently stayed for a month at Debbie and Craig’s cottage while we visited our children in the Portland area. The cottage was in a very safe and very convenient location and we had easy access to restaurants, shopping and freeways. It is situated on a large piece of beautifully landscaped property with the owner’s house on the same property. Also on the property was another rental property the owners rented and a care facility for seniors close behind the cottage, none of which impacted our stay in any way. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs. It was spotless when we arrived and It was well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. There was plenty of storage and we were able to unpack and make ourselves at home. It was quite cozy and comfortable with a large screen TV and fireplace in the living room and a large comfortable queen size bed with another TV in the bedroom. The kitchen had every convenience and we were able to make many wonderful meals keeping our trip costs quite reasonable. The bathroom had a large shower with plenty of hot water and the adjacent washer and drier were easy to operate and worked well. The owners were extremely nice and very helpful with suggestions and answering any questions we had. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to return again in the future.

We loved the location and view out the sliding door. It was very comfortable with all the amenities required! Had fun giving Lucy treats; she's such a sweet dog. Only minutes from town, yet very quiet.
