Un super pied à terre aux portes du Addo

L’emplacement aux portes du Parc Addo, vraiment très agréable. Très spacieux, c’est agréable, deux grandes chambres, deux salles de bain, une grande cuisine équipée. Le coin barbecue à l’extérieur est très sympa, ainsi que la petite piscine commune. Personnel présent pour aider et conseiller.

La propreté était correcte mais pas impeccable (les sols, les tapis), mais rien de choquant non plus.

Besser geht’s nicht…wow

Besser geht es nicht…wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt und wären gern länger geblieben. Ich habe noch nie mehr Gastfreundschaft als hier erlebt. So kinderfreundlich…. Es war einfach wunderbar.

Der pool war sehr einsichtig… jeder auf dem Hof konnte reinschauen. hätte bei einem längeren Aufenthalt denke ich etwas gestört. Für uns war es aber total ok.

The place is quit luxury!! The kitchen is equipped with everything you wish for. The outside area has everything you wish for. The pool is great. The host comes by every day and is super helpful.

We found the accommodation spacious and extremely well-equipped. It was spotlessly clean and literally 2 minutes from the South gate of Addo. The cherry on the top was an unexpected boat ride on the Sundays River by our host.

Avoid this place at all cost. Shocking treatment by the host

The Host was there on arrival and escorted us to our unit. The unit was clean with a small swimming pool and barbeque area. It was decorated well and well stocked with utensils and cutlery

This host did not give us any privacy during our stay and treated us shockingly, walking onto our premises whenever he felt fit to do so. There was no spa as advertised on booking.com and also no restaurant, which was the main reason for our booking. There were no other entertainment as promised on booking.com, i.e. boat rides, etc. We arrived from England with the main purpose of seeing our family which we have not seen in 4 year's and booked a 6 sleeper. The host then argued with us on arrival, saying that we only booked a 5 sleeper. We then booked and payed for another unit for our other 2 family members. When my daughter in law's parents who were staying at another B&B in Colchester, came to say hello and had a quick barbeque with us, he told us that he would throw us out as no guests were allowed. When my other son arrived and asked him if he and his wife can book a unit for 1 night in order to spend Christmas Day with us, he asked if we have a communication problem or are we simply mentally retarded as we don't listen as he is fully booked, although all the other units on the premises were still empty. We were not able to be together as a family due to him refusing my son entrance on Christmas Day. He also told us that he could see that we had other people in our unit (which was my daughter in law's parents who came to say hello) as he could "see on the cameras". We had no intention of partying, or having people sleep over as we are both professional people, but we felt watched throughout our stay. He would come onto our premises at 7am in the morning, trying to send people in to do cleaning. We are a mature and well-behaved family who travel a lot, but this prison will never see us again as we received shocking treatment, whilst he was using the "no-guest" policy as an excuse (even though we asked him politely and offered to pay the R900 per day fee).

Absolutely exceptional accommodation. Will recommend it 100% to anyone wanting a break.

Hospitality excellent !!! The room are so well maintained , clean and beautiful. There is honestly nothing that was not available to us , if we needed it . We will definitely stay at Settle Inn each and every time to come to Sunday River .

We could not find a single negative thing with this accommodation . 10 out of 10 for sure .

Best stay during our road trip!!

Great location for a visit to Addo Elephant Park. Very close to Addo Ematjolweni gate. Easy access from N2.Superbly well equipped kitchen. Spacious, beautifully furnished, especially Unit 1 which is a 3 bedroom with your own pool and lapa.Very welcoming owner who is willing to go an xtra-mile to help you with anything. The place is child friendly with a lot of kids activities to play. Friendly staff. There chocolates on the pillow, luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated.

Fabulous

Superbly well equipped and impeccably clean property, as close as is possible to be to the southern entrance to Addo Elephant Park. Just like the pictures. Very welcoming owners, very comfortable place to stay, every little detail for the traveller or holiday maker thought through.

Nothing really, but coming from a non braai using nation, an indoor table and chairs would have been welcome!

Spacious, beautifully furnished, especially the 2 bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen! Special touches like a decanter with Port, towels for the swimming pool, and many more.

We really liked staying here and will be a property of choice should we return.

Location, spaciousness, setting, garden, facilities, sense of security, close to river with river access, sunsets, easy to Addo, easy off N2, pleasant staff, a really nice stay for us.

Smelly plumbing in kitchen from sinks and dishwasher and washing machine. Needs a thorough clean. Dishwasher needs salt to assist poor cleaning.

Absolutely fantastic!

Settle Inn was probably the best self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Plenty of space, good lighting, warm beds. So much attention to detail, right up to the basket and beach towels provided for our use, and a variety of toiletries, tea, coffee and rusks. Everything was spotless, and Alf, the owner was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The shop nearby was well stocked, and the proximity to Addo was fantastic. We would love to stay there again, for longer next time, so that we can make use of the river as well.

If we had stayed longer, a dishwasher would have been great. And my husband would like a beer glass :) Both very minor in the greater scheme of things. We had an extremely comfortable stay!

The house was beautiful it had everything my friends and I needed.

The place was poorly advertised. I didn't know that the place was in a residential area. I was really hoping for more privacy and the fact that the host came into our unit uninvited and without warning more than once, was absolutely inappropriate and uncalled for.
