Staff were great, very relaxing weekend.

The island is a fabulous location so close to Port Moresby. Apart from the obvious diving possibilities around the island, it has some excellent walks on the ridge and around the shore. The hotel and rooms are very modern. The airport pickup and drop off to the Tahira jetty went smoothly.
Nothing really significant. It's unfortunate that my room had quite a few cockroaches in it (part of the main building) so some control would be good.

Beautiful spot. We enjoyed the different activities. Nature around the rooms is impressive. From the room we could even see small manta ray. Staff was flexible and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Service at the restaurant was slow and room was clean but not completely. In the balcony furniture had some buay red marks.

We enjoyed the weekend retreat- the environment, quality and comfort of the room, and customer service was great.

The whole peaceful atmosphere, the sense of freedom after living in Port Moresby, the beauty of the place, the trees and gardens, the wild animals that can be observed (Wallabies, Queen Victoria pigeons), the walk across the island with breathtaking views on ocean and mountains, the kindness of all staff and Managing Director, the absolute quiet

Location, rooms (water villas), swimming pool and dive shop. It was my second stay at Loloata. Even better then the first one. This time I could go for scuba diving and I’m very impressed. Excellent dive boat, excellent dive masters and very good dive sites (outer reef). We have seen leopard sharks, sea snakes, walking shark, white tip sharks, stone fish and lot of small stuff. Great visibility.

Great hotel just 40 minutes (bus + boat) from POM Airport. Free return transfer from the airport. Beautiful pool and great water villas facing sunrise. I made mistake with the date of arrival, hotel sent the bus but …… my plane arrived one day later. For the hotel it wasn’t a problem, they sent the bus and made a change in our reservation without any extra fees. Great service, thank you once again. Excellent place to stay very close to Port Moresby (which is not unsafe as described) with great diving options not far away (there is a dive shop in hotel). Hope to see you in July again
Breakfast was far away from the hotel level

Staff were very polite and Helpful. The Overall Surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. If you are going some where to relax then this is the place.
The Air conditioning was poor, even after following the instruction of keeping the balcony door shut as this turns of the Air conditioning it still failed to bring the humidity down or the temperature down to a comfortable level. THe Food prices were very high for very ordinary food. the Bar prices are double of what they are anywhere else in PNG and considering this is only a few minutes out of the Capital City transport is not a factor.

1. I liked the lady who drove the buggy. However buggy broke down and wouldnt work but she walked us and what i liked is she explained everything to us and the stories behind things.
2. The room was beautiful but however...for the amount of money we paid for the 2bdrm villa...its not worth it.
3. Swimming pool was nice.
4. Breakfast was lovely but need more selection.
5. Dinner prices are overpriced and not up to its cost.
6. Location is AMAZING
The person at the reception on island called Imelda wasnt very good at her job. Need someone happy.
The buggy broke down. Makes noise when it worked. Ugly for a beautiful island like that.
Wasnt very clean in pubic spaces especially Toilets.
We were accused of eating food in room and asked to pay the amount. Which was later sorted.
Staff on boat and security dont look like they enjoy their jobs. Staff in general dont look like they enjoy their jobs.
Change of staff will make this place a better place. Happy staff who appreciate the island and its customers.
It is overly priced and def not worth the money paid. Its not clean enough to be that price and also the amenities are not worth that price nor is the food and the rooms.
Absolutely overly priced.

Island location. I enjoyed early morning swims - had the pool to myself. Lovely buffet breakfast and great choice of food on dinner menu. Friendly staff. Bigger dive boat was good and has better steps than the small dive boat. Dive staff were very helpful.

I had planned a special event for my family and the Manager and the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to make the event a success. I sincerely appreciated that.
