Secure; choice of rooms; clean; well-furnished; facilities; private parking.
Double bed could've been more comfortable with one mattress.

The shower was good.
The price was reasonable.
Difficult to find, the flat was located in what felt like a council estate and very noisy. Inside I could hear traffic, a stampede running upstairs and children crying. As the flat is on the ground floor you hear everyone entering the building, banging doors and generally being inconsiderate.
The property had an odd smell, was very cold on arrival and it felt like it had been sat empty a while. There was no sign of a thermostat or information book. I finally managed to contact the owner and get the boiler going but it wasn’t the best start following the 7hr drive.
In the front bedroom, the mattress felt old and I could feel the springs, the tv didn’t work and needed setting up. The livingroom wasn’t a relaxing area, with only bright lighting and a tv as high as the ceiling, it was difficult to sit and watch. The smart tv also has no aerial for normal channels.

Very good communication. Easy to find and plenty parking. Flat was well furnished and comfortable. Good value for money.
The small bedroom is pretty much a cupboard but we knew that before arriving and it was fine.

Good communication with host and happy to helpful with any enquiries or concerns.
Apartment had everything needed fir short stay.
Not enough comfy seating for all guests

Clean and lots of towels etc
Given wrong code and got soaking wet waiting to get new code and key box located where the water didn’t flow away so stood in a puddle trying to get keys, very noisy fan in bathroom , fridge so noisy it’s louder than tv. No instructions on how to get any channels on tvs in bedroom.

Very nice place, very good shower have TV in all place for Netflix or Amazon. Quite place is 20min walking to town no to bed have bus closed the door everthing for cooking. Recommended
The curtains in the room need little bit more dark for sleep is summer sun come in 4:30/5 am. Little early for wake up. One suggestion input one curtin for blocker light up inside these? And blocker could in winter. I saw the neighbours have the same structure curtains.

The apartment would have been ok if it was as advertised but sadly this was not the case .
The hosts provided a really poor and unprofessional service . Initially we were lied to and were told the flat had been damaged by prev tennants but they then confirmed it was due to be refurbished. There was stained bedding . Out of 5 lamps only 2 worked . We had no TV for 2 of our 3 night stay and no heating or hot water the first morning which meant we could not shower. The hosts did very little to help and we had to spend time on the phone and texting . I would not recommend 8th line property to anyone .

Close to Dundee centre. Comfy beds, excellent bathroom, large towels. Plenty of room for 2 (not enough comfy seating for more). Got security bond back within an hour of leaving. Well equipped apart from lack of cutlery.
Lack of some cutlery; 4 tvs, all set up different & no instructions; only 1 chair at breakfast bar (2 in photos), dirty trays in oven. We had to chase owners to pay security bond and for code to enter.

extremely comfortable bed and pillows

The flat was comfortable and the kitchenware was clean and coordinated. The beds were comfortable and the wifi very good.
With 5 of us staying, 4 mugs, 3 forks and 4 knives was a little disappointing

It was clean and well equipped
The security on the building was poor and the area pretty run down

The facilities that the appartment offers are excellent.
Finding the property in the dark from the directions given is not easy.
We had the nightmare of the code not working on the keybox and we finally got some rest at an alternative property that the owner fixed us up with.
The keyboard issue was fixed the following day and we had two superb days in the accommodation.

Property is easy to get to by car. There is plenty of car parking spaces behind the building. The flat is spacious and clean. Nice big well equipped kitchen. The owners and staff that I spoke to were very helpful.
Bit of hassle about a deposit. If I had known earlier it would have been easier.
TVs need tuning in. Could do with a bit more comfortable seating in communal/ kitchen area.

good location, comfortable beds
had no hot water when we arrived and discovered the boiler was switched off- had to try and work out how to get the hot water and heating working. There was no welcome pack explaining how to work cooker/oven/boiler or what bins to put the trash and recycling in, this would have been helpful.

property is new, extremely cozy and has everything you need. the flat is absolutely lovely.
it was a bit difficult to talk to the owners when I arrived. I still didn’t have my check in details and it was even after the check in time (I got there by 9pm). That was the only issue but after a few min it was solved.

The size of the flat was good. Ample off street parking. The area wasn't the best and the entrance at the back of the property was a bit daunting but we had absolutely no issues. The flat was very quiet day and night, you couldn't hear any of the neighbours. I was in the room near the front door so you would occasionally hear it being closed but this was not an issue at all. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower. I believe it was a short walk to the city centre but we didn't attempt it as I had the dog with me and she sniffs everything and it would have taken ages. There was a slight mix up re bedding but this was my mistake as I hadn't marked when booking that we would be using two rooms. This was sorted out without any issues. The communication from the owner was very good and I received my damage deposit on the sane day of departure with a message to confirm that everything was fine and the deposit would be refunded. I have mentioned some negatives to the flat but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Damaged flooring in kitchen which my sister tripped over but thankfully didn't hurt herself. There was 2 of us so the seating in the kitchen/living room was fine but not enough for a larger party. The hot water was dangerously hot, I think the temperature on the boiler needs turned down a bit. The flat was very clean but there was a clump of hair in the door surround to one of the bedrooms. One of the quilts had a hole in it and the other had a large stain. I was disappointed that there was only one bath sheet and one hand towel each for a four night stay. The information sheet stated there was a washer dryer with washing pods but there was only one so we had to buy more. I'm not very keen on doing washings when on holiday and would have preferred more towels rather than a TV in every room and an expensive Smeg fridge freezer but that's my personal preference.

Good base to explore the east coast of Scotland. Comfortable place to stay and nicely decorated. Great shower. Really good contact from the owners. Liked the TVs had different steaming packages you could access
Minor things only, like some broken flooring in the kitchen needs fixing. It’s frustrating that booking.com don’t do a deposit scheme this is instead done direct with the owners which is fine

Accommodation itself was comfortable, well -located and had easy parking.
6 weeks taken to get deposit returned after leaving text messages, making at least 15 calls to the 2 numbers provided and eventually getting booking.com involved.
The owners apparently had had issues with their phones and the money was eventually returned.
The time and inconvenience caused chasing it would put me off staying again.

Great location - only a few minutes walk from city centre. Industrial look.
Everything in plastic at the breakfast buffet - this may have been due to COVID restrictions. Where possible don’t use plastic 😊

Three ample bedrooms with good wifi, good location for town, good parking and very good communication from the owner. Shower is excellent!
The flat was rather small, but this didn’t matter so much as we only used it as a base. Having a lock on the bathroom door would be good, it bothered the teenagers that there wasn’t one!
3.9
The beds were comfortable, the accommodation warm and the shower and hot water were good. It was a quiet street and there was no noise from other flats. The entrance is a little off putting but the flat is well decorated and bright.
3.9
Comfy and very clean. Good size TVs in bedrooms and kitchen with good internet access. Owner very helpful.
Not enough comfy seating in open plan kitchen/lounge for a family of 4 to watch TV together.

Nice apartment, great location. Very helpful and friendly hosts.
